ETHEL TIER MULLER, AGE 94, WOODBRIDGE

Ethel Tier Muller, 94, of Woodbridge died Monday at her home.
She was born in Rahway, and was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge. She was the owner and operator of Tier's Hardware Store, Woodbridge, for 60 years before retiring in 1975.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge, and she was a Notary Republic for 75 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred, who died in 1981, and a sister, Carolyn Schaeffler, in 1989. Surviving are two daughters, Ethel Reick of Edison and Lois Jones of Woodbridge, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 8 p.m. tomorrow at Leon J. Gerity Funeral Home, 411 Amboy Ave., Woodbridge. Cremation is private. Visiting will be tomorrow 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Woodbridge Emergency Squad, or to St. Joseph's Home, Strawberry Hill Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
THERESA NICORVO, AGE 88, SOUTH AMBOY

Theresa Corvino Nicorvo, 88, died Monday at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pa.
She was born in Berwick, Pa., and lived in South Amboy before moving to Leola, Pa. 45 years ago. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; a daughter, Tina M. Jones, and two grandsons, Shane and Tony Jones, all of Leola, Pa.; a brother, John Corvino, and a sister, Jean Halperin, both of South Amboy.
Services will be held 9 a.m. Friday at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals," 237 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, South Amboy. Entombment will take place at the Corvino family mausoleum at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Fords. Visiting will be tomorrow, 7-9 p.m. only at the funeral home.
ISABEL WOLFF, AGE 90, SPOTSWOOD

Isabel (Jakab) Wolff died yesterday at the Applegarth Care Center in Hightstown. She was 90 years old.
Born in Toms Creek, Va., on July 4, 1910, she moved to Hungary at the age of 14, living there for five years. She returned to the United States in 1929, settling in Kearny, where she resided before moving to Spotswood in 1968.
Her husband, Arthur L. Wolff, died in 1968.
Surviving are two sons, August A. Wolff of Spotswood, and Carl T. Wolff of Waldoboro, Maine; three grandchildren, Alexander Wolff, currently in the Peace Corps in Bangladesh, Geoffrey Wolff, currently in the Marines and stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and Catherine Carlin of Columbia. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday by Rev. Kenneth Haupt of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, at the Eckman Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Spotswood, followed by a private burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. only.
STEPHEN A. "TIPPY" RUSAK, AGE 87, SOUTH AMBOY

Stephen A. "Tippy" Rusak, 87, of South Amboy, formerly of Woodbridge, died Saturday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Born in Woodbridge, he lived there before moving to South Amboy 35 years ago.
From 1938 to 1968, he was a self-employed milkman in the Woodbridge area, known as "Steve the Milkman." From 1968 to 1978, he was an office manager for Royal Petroleum Oil, Woodbridge.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Woodbridge, and was a past trustee of the church.
He was predeceased by his late wife, Julia Jane Brezoski, in 1990; two brothers, John and Joseph, and two late sisters, Catherine Dancsecs and Elizabeth Plucinski.
Surviving are a son, Stephen L. of Morganville; a daughter, Dorothy Facendo of South Amboy; a brother, Paul of Woodbridge; four sisters, Rose Kormer of West Seneca, N.Y., Marion Slaninko and Ann Ruszkia, both of Woodbridge, and Madeline Gall of Port Reading; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Leon J. Gerity Funeral Home, 411 Amboy Ave., Woodbridge, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

JOSEPH E. "JOE K." KASSAY, 60, of Laurence Harbor, OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, died Monday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. He was a self-employed tool and die maker for the past 33 years. He was a communicant of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor, and served in the Marines during peace time. Mr. Kassay was born in Newark and lived there before moving to Laurence Harbor 33 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa Kniffin Kassay; three daughters, Eleanor Loughlin and Debra Hixon, both of Laurence Harbor, and Michelle Cruz, Matawan; and four grandchildren. Day Funeral Home, Keyport, is in charge of arrangements.

MARY SIROKI KUCHINSKI, 82, of OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, died Sunday at Old Bridge Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbor, Old Bridge, and its Holy Rosary Society. Mrs. Kuchinski was born in Drifton, Pa., and lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Old Bridge in 1980.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Frank E.; two sons, Francis, Old Bridge, and Thomas, Keyport; four daughters, Elizabeth Gatano, Woodbridge Township, Mary Ann Abraham, Parlin, Sayreville, Kathleen Rey, Millstone, Somerset County, and Eileen Jones, Chester; four brothers, Joseph and Michael Siroki, both of Freeland, Pa., and Edward and Emil Siroki, both of Drifton, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. VERONICA A. McBRIDE ROSE, 83, of OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP, died yesterday at Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison Township. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Carteret, and a member of the Railroad Ladies Auxiliary, Jersey City. Mrs. Rose was born in Jersey City and lived in Carteret before moving to Old Bridge two years ago.
Her husband, William M., died in 1987, and she was also predeceased by a daughter, Rita. Surviving are a son, William J., California; four daughters, Veronica Smith, Manalapan Township, Madeleine Greenberg, Old Bridge, Joan Mantovani, Chicago, and Dorothy Niedermeier, Carteret; a sister, Joan Sheridan, Hightstown; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
