MARY C. SIRARD GRAY, 69, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Monday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a clerk for the Oakhurst Pharmacy for the past 23 years. Mrs. Gray was born in Worcester, Mass., and lived in Monroe, N.Y., before moving to Oakhurst in 1973.
Her husband, Donald E., died in 1988. Surviving are two sons, Steven, Oakhurst, and Robert, with whom she lived. Worden-Hoidal Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
RUTH E. COLLINS, 85, of Baltimore

RUTH E. COLLINS, 85, of Baltimore, formerly of ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, died Sunday at Manor Care, Towson, Md. She was an executive secretary at New Jersey Natural Gas Co., Wall Township, for 40 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of All Saints Memorial Episcopal Church, Navesink, Middletown Township, and a member and past president of the Monmouth County Association of Secretaries. Miss Collins was born in Orange and lived in Atlantic Highlands before moving to Baltimore three years ago.
Surviving are two nephews, Harvey F. Gerber, Beverly Hills, Fla., and Dr. Gregory Gerber, Houston; a niece, Linda P. Eichhorn, Baltimore; and six grandnieces and nephews. Posten's Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, is in charge of arrangements.
WILBUR 'BILL' R. WOSNITZER, 87, of BRADLEY BEACH

WILBUR "BILL" R. WOSNITZER, 87, of BRADLEY BEACH, died Monday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He retired 32 years ago as director of sales for the Zenith Radio Co., Newark, where he worked for 20 years. He was a 1928 graduate of Newark Academy, and a 1933 graduate of Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, where he was captain of the baseball team, and a member of its football team. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Wosnitzer was born in Newark and lived in South Orange before moving to Bradley Beach in 1941. He was a winter resident of Coral Gables, Fla., for the past 20 years.
His son, Douglas Andrew, died in 1968. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Irene H. Harris Wosnitzer; three sons, William, Point Pleasant, Robert, Middletown Township, and John, Cherry Hill Township; a sister, Gertrude Seifer, Rodondo Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Reilly Funeral Home, Belmar, is in charge of arrangements.
WILLIAM G. LUFBURROW JR., 82, of EATONTOWN

WILLIAM G. LUFBURROW JR., 82, of EATONTOWN, died Sunday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was employed by the US Government Department of the Army, where he served in the adjutant general's office and also was assistant to the secretary of defense, retiring in 1968 after 26 years of service. During his last three years of service, he was located at Fort Monmouth where he served as a protocol officer to the commanding general, executive officer of personnel training directorate, and chief of military personnel. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War. Mr. Lufburrow was born in Eatontown and lived in Middletown Township most of his life before returning to Eatontown one year ago.
His wife, Helen Gurniak Lufburrow, died in 1965. Surviving is a brother, Richard Lufburrow, Fair Haven. John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
WILLIAM T. 'BILL' FRYER, 85, of St. Petersburg, Fla.

WILLIAM T. "BILL" FRYER, 85, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Neptune, died Dec. 23 in Florida. He was a plumber and steam fitter with Teamsters Union, Neptune. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Fryer was born in Newark and lived in Neptune and in Hollywood, Fla., before moving to St. Petersburg in 1987.
Surviving are four brothers, George, Onancock, Va., Jim, Tacoam, Wash., Raymond, Seattle, and Robert, Queens; and two sisters, Ruth Egan, Caldwell, and Helen McGill, Verona. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, was in charge of arrangements.

ROBERT F. CUNNINGHAM, 65, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed by the Borough of Freehold Water Department for 18 years before his retirement five months ago. He was Navy veteran of the Korean War, a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post No. 54, and a member of the Freehold Council 1672, Knights of Corkeley Heights. Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Neptune prior to moving to Freehold 30 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Giordano Cunningham; children James and Linda Cunningham and Diane E. Lockhart; brother of Thomas and Florence Adams; and grandfather of three. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.
BARBARA OCTAVIA BATTLE, 77, of FREEHOLD

BARBARA OCTAVIA BATTLE, 77, of FREEHOLD, died Saturday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a retired domestic worker. She was a member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and was a volunteer for the Monmouth County Office on Aging, both of Freehold. Born in Columbus, Ga., she moved to Freehold in 1946.
Surviving is a brother, Frank H. Battle, Jasper, Fla. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.

DOUGLAS D. CARLSON, 97, of NEPTUNE, died Friday at Neptune Conva-Center. He was a real estate broker for the Allen B. Conor Agency, Ridgefield, for 40 years. Born in New York, he lived in Ridgefield and Ocean Grove before moving to Neptune.
Surviving are his wife, Alfhild Carlson; one brother, Sidney, Spring House, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Ocean Grove Memorial Home, Ocean Grove is in charge of the arrangements.
HELEN L. LIEBESMAN ASCH, 84, of BRADLEY BEACH

HELEN L. LIEBESMAN ASCH, 84, of BRADLEY BEACH, died yesterday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a third and fourth grade teacher for the Bradley Beach Board of Education for 40 years, retiring in 1976. She was past president of the Auxiliary Congregation Agudath Achim, Bradley Beach, past president of the Bradley Beach Hadassah, past president of the Bradley Beach PTA, a member of the Shore Area Chapter of Deborah, and the Senior Citizens Club of Bradley Beach. She was a graduate of Trenton State College, and New York University, where she received a bachelor's degree. Born in Philadelphia, she lived most of her life in Bradley Beach.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1994. Surviving are a son, Mark L., Mountainside; and four grandchildren. Worden-Hoidal Funeral Home, Oakhurst, Ocean Township, is in charge of arrangements.
