IRENE KARWOSKI ZISK, AGE 75, FRANKLIN

Irene Karwoski Zisk died Friday at King James Care Center in the Somerset section of Franklin. She was 75.
She was born in Jersey City and spent most of her life living in Somerset.
She was a communicant of St. Matthias R.C. Church in Somerset and was a member of its Rosary-Altar Society.
She was a member of the Garden State Ex-Prisoners of War Association, Chapter 1, North Caldwell.
She was an attendance officer of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and the High Steppers, its dance club.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1987. Two brothers, Henry and John Karwoski, died last year.
Surviving are her son, Robert of Franklin; a daughter, Diane Sitren of Franklin; a sister, Helen Frenick of Franklin, and three grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Matthias R.C. Church. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
EUGENIA PERONE, AGE 82, BOUND BROOK

Eugenia Iovino Perone died on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Greenbrook Manor Nursing Home. She was 82.
She was born in Boston and was a lifelong resident of Bound Brook.
She retired in 1980 after 25 years as a cook for American Cyanamid Co. in Bridgewater.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Bound Brook.
Surviving are three sons, Stephen of Bend, Ore., Eugene of Bound Brook, and Joseph of Melbourne, Australia; two daughters, Caroline Granek of Highland Park and Frieda Scarpatti of South Plainfield; a sister, Ann Izzi of Somerville; 10 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
Arrangements were by the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 E. Main St.
CHARLES McNAMARA, AGE 85, FRANKLIN

Charles P. McNamara of Franklin died yesterday at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 85.
Services will be announced by Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset section of Franklin.
MARGARET J. FISHER, AGE 90, FAIR HAVEN

Margaret Julia Fisher died Friday at home. She was 90.
She was born in Simpsonville, Md., and moved to Fair Haven in 1943.
She retired in 1987 as a self-employed seamstress and clothing designer. She also had been a domestic worker in Rumson.
She was a member of the National Association of Black Women.
Surviving are a son, Frederick Earl of Somerville; a brother, James Johnson of Lakehurst; two sisters, Helen Bailey of Riverdale, N.Y., and Ida Pringle of Bailey, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick. Burial will follow at New Cemetery, Somerville.
BARBARA COURTNEY, AGE 71, FRANKLIN

Barbara Courtney died Thursday at home. She was 71.
She was born in Bethlehem, Pa., and had lived in Alabama and the Somerset section of Franklin before moving to the township's Middlebush section.
She retired in 1990 as a clerk for the Franklin Board of Education. She was a member of the Somerset County Retired Educators.
She was a member of the Middlebush Reformed Church, where she had served for 36 years as church organist.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; four sons, John of Berkeley, Calif., Kenneth of Santa Fe, N.M., Robert of Long Mont, Colo., and William of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; a daughter, Elizabeth Bittner of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla.; a brother, Richard Ross of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Reathie McLain of Marion, Texas, and four grandchildren.
Private cremation was under the direction of the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset. A memorial service will be announced by the Middlebush Reformed Church.
LUBE KOLEVSKI, AGE 61, BOUND BROOK

Lube Kolevski died Wednesday at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 61.
He was born in Macedonia and immigrated to the United States in 1968, settling in Bound Brook.
He was owner and operator of Kolevski Construction in Bound Brook.
He was a communicant of SS. Kiril & Kiril Macedonian Orthodox Church in Randolph.
He is survived by his wife, the former Persa Veskovska; a son, Trajan of Bound Brook; two daughters, Mirjana of Bound Brook and Zorica Starkov of Evesham; two sisters, Stojna Andreevski of Bound Brook and Gorica Dimovski of Florida, and five grandchildren.
Services will be 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Taggart-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 305 E. High St., Bound Brook, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at SS. Kiril & Kiril Macedonian Orthodox Church. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery.
ELIZABETH A. VARGA, AGE 94, FRANKLIN

Elizabeth A. Varga died Monday at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was 94.
She was born in Vanderbilt, Pa., and lived most of her life in the Somerset section of Franklin before moving to the home of her daughter in Utica, Ohio.
She retired several years ago after 25 years with the Rutgers Alumni-Faculty Center, New Brunswick.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, New Brunswick, and a member of its Altar Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Her husband, Andrew Sr., died in 1958. A son, Andrew Jr., died in 1989. Three brothers and five sisters also are deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Gage of Utica, Ohio, and a sister, Ann Arnold of Trenton.
Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday from the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.
