Rita Ann Cox, 73, of Trenton, NJ, passed away Thursday September 25, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Martin. Loving mother of John H. (Betty Anne) Nixon of Bordentown, Edward (Debbie) Nixon of Hamilton, Jeff (Pauline George) of Hamilton, and Christopher of Trenton. Daughter of the late Edward and Anna Sweeney of Bordentown. Dear sister of Bob, Lois, Linda, Tommy, Roseanne, and the late Charlotte. Proud grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of many beloved others. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Rita Ann lived for her family. Nothing meant more to her than being with them and cooking large family dinners, especially around the holidays. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and camping. Manville, NJ. Benjamin D. Szymanski, Jr., 91, entered eternal life on Monday, September 29, 2014 at home with loving family by his side. Born in Bayonne, NJ, son of the late Benjamin and Rosalie (Zerpka) Szymanski, Sr., he was a lifelong resident of Manville. Benjamin was a recipient of the Purple Heart and honorably discharged from the United States Army as a T/Sergeant having faithfully served his country during World War II. He retired as a truant officer after 37 years of dedicated employment with the Manville Board of Education. Marilyn June Vanderbilt of Lawrenceville passed away September 28th 2014 at the Princeton Care Center. Born in Trenton, she was a life-long Lawrenceville resident. She was a life member of The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville. Marilyn was a graduate of Trenton Central High School class of 1952 and New Jersey Teachers College at Trenton class of 1956 (now the College of NJ). She was a teacher at the Trenton Public School System, 3rd grade from 1956-1961 and the Lawrence Township Public School System, 4th grade from 1961-1992 retiring after 31 years. Paul A. Williamson, Jr., 73, of East Windsor, passed away at Cranbury Center, Monroe Township, surrounded by his family. Born in Long Island City, NY, he lived in the East Windsor section of Mercer County for over 50 years. Mr. Williamson served his country honorably as a veteran in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Hightstown Elks for many years, and was also a past Exalted Ruler. He worked in the electronics/computer industry for his whole life, and most recently at Broadridge Services, Long Island, NY. He was a computer programmer/consultant and software designer. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul A. and Florence Williamson Sr.
Stephen Alan Traylor
Stephen Alan Traylor died at his home in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on September 26, 2014. Steve was born to Martha and William Traylor on May 11, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis in 1964 and went on to earn a B.A. from Hanover College in 1968 and a J.D. from Seton Hall University in 1984. Steve served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia from 1968-1970 and in the Volunteer Service Program of the Mennonite Central Committee in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1970-1972. Steve was a talented and successful attorney who loved every minute of his work-he fought tirelessly to help immigrants from around the world forge a better life for themselves and made many friends along the way. He was one of the first attorneys to be accredited by the U. S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (now the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) at the federal level and was exceptionally regarded by fellow immigration attorneys and judges alike. Steve frequently appeared before the federal immigration court in Newark, New Jersey and also regularly met with clients at the federal immigration detention center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Steve retired in September 2014 after more than 30 years practicing immigration law with Traylor and Traylor PC, a Princeton-based law firm founded by his parents. Steve is survived by his wife of 20 years, Martha, his two younger siblings Kathryn of Paris, France, and David of Rome, Italy, and his three sons, Nathaniel of New Brunswick, New Jersey, Gabriel of New York, New York, and Matthew of Washington, D.C. We welcome all to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Robert "Bob" Lien, 80
Robert ''Bob'' Lien, 80, of Chester, NJ passed away on Tuesday September 23, 2014 in Morristown, NJ. Robert was born on May 25, 1934 in Dover, NJ. He has lived in Chester for the past 52 years and was previously of the Indian Lake section in Denville, NJ. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. Bob was a Plastics Engineer for Bell Labs for 43 years. He was a member of the Chester Volunteer Fireman Co., Antique Automobile Club of America, Mustang Club, Chester Board of Education, and numerous other Township Committees. Bob enjoyed traveling, sailing out of the Bitter End Yacht Club in the BVI, and most of all loved spending time with his family. Dorothy Christine Ames, 54 died September 22, 2014 at her home in Lambertville, NJ. Dorothy was born October 12, 1959 in Bronxville, NY, and grew up in Rye, NY. She attended Rye Country Day School ('77), graduated from Wesleyan University ('81) with degrees in Music and English, and attained her MBA from the University of Connecticut ('86). An avid equestrian rider, flute player, and book lover in her younger years, Dorothy carried this same passion and dedication into adulthood with fitness instruction - which she parlayed into a small business of her own, Functional Fitness - philanthropy, and her work with animals. Nancy E. Elson, of Hamilton Square, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 after a life well lived. Born in Canton Ohio, she was a longtime local area resident. She graduated from Radford University in Radford, VA with a Bachelor's Degree, and the College of NJ with a Master's Degree. Nancy had been employed as a respiratory therapist at the University Medical Center at Princeton where she helped many people for 25 years. For the past 6 years she's been employed with the State of New Jersey at Homeland Security. Predeceased by her father, Edwin P. Elson, Jr. and her sister, Barbara L. Andrew "Andy" Greener, 83
Andrew ''Andy'' Greener, 83, of Pennington, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Ruth McKeever Greener and John Greener, brother of the late Gail Graziano and Gary Greener, Andy was a lifelong area resident. Andy graduated from Trenton High School, where he was a 3-sport athlete and also a captain of the 1948 Trenton Schroths American Legion Post 93 National Championship baseball team. After graduation, Andy played for the Brooklyn Dodgers organization. His professional career was interrupted when he joined the Coast Guard during the Korean War. Upon discharge, Andy attended Trenton State College where he earned a bachelor's degree, and later a master's degree. Andy began his teaching career at Ewing High School in 1959, where he coached baseball for 34 years and soccer for 28 years. He was also a longstanding member of St. James Church in Pennington. Andy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Schumacher Greener, one daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Kurt Pedersen, two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Marguerite Greener and Kevin and Kit Greener, all of Pennington. Andy's pride and joy were his 7 grandchildren:

Dr. Fruma Winer Ginsburgh
Dr. Fruma Winer Ginsburgh passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014. For the past 14 years, she had resided at Lasell Village in Auburndale, MA. She was born on September 16, 1924, in Mount Vernon, NY, to Hajnalka Langer Winer and Herman L. Winer. After losing her father at the age of 11, she moved with her mother and four brothers to Spring Valley, NY. At the young age of 16, she enrolled at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. While there, she met and married
(in 1943) her beloved husband, Rabbi Albert Ginsburgh of Holyoke, MA. The birth of a daughter, Ann, during her junior year at Mount Holyoke College inspired her to change her career path to medicine. After graduating from college in 1945, she attended what was then the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania, the first school established to train women in medicine and offer them the M.D. degree. In the years that followed, daughters Jean and Ellen were born. Dr. Fruma Ginsburgh graduated at the top of her medical school class, earning the esteemed membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she was appointed Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the City of Philadelphia. Later, she moved with her family to Princeton, NJ, working for a time at the Personal Products Division of Johnson and Johnson, and then at the Princeton Medical Group. In 1974, she relocated to Boston, where she worked at Harvard Community Health Plan, MIT Medical, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. As a woman embarking on a career in medicine at that time, she was a pioneer in her field. She became particularly interested in the areas of infertility, laparoscopic surgery, and computerized health information systems. She mentored many young physicians along the way, and she was always firm in her determination, albeit gentle in her process. She was loved and revered by many. She was a lifelong learner. After retirement, she chose to reside at Lasell Village in Auburndale, MA, where she continued to study at Lasell College. Dr. Fruma Ginsburgh was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rabbi Albert Ginsburgh, in 1999, and by her beloved brother Louis Winer in 1993. Theodore M. Vial, Sr., 93
Theodore M. Vial, Sr., founding member and past president of Princeton Community Housing, died at home Wednesday, September 17, 2014. He was 93. Ted's family is celebrating his life of service and conviction, his quiet good humor and generous spirit. Born in Ware, Iowa, Ted went to the University of Maryland-College Park, received a Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal as part of a glider unit in the Army Air Corps in World War II, and earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the University of Illinois. He spent the bulk of his career in the rubber chemicals division of American Cyanamid in Bound Brook, NJ. While at Illinois, Ted formed a happy and enduring union with Alice Andrews. Alice and Ted celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June.Of all his accomplishments, Ted was proudest of their five children, Leslie Owsley, Jane Jaffe, Connie Green, Anne Vial, and Ted Vial, Jr.
