Helen A. Mellor
FLORENCE - Helen A. Mellor, 68, died May 24 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
Born in Florence, she was a lifelong resident.
She was an accounts payable administrator for the state Department of Human Services in Trenton for 26 years.
She was a member of St. Clare’s Church and its altar rosary society.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marlene Graham of California and Lisa and James Milam of Georgia.; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Elisabeth Mellor of Bordentown; her mother, Rose Cicero Santoleri of Florence; four sisters, Carmel Anthony and Josephine Kilchety, both of Florence, Roseanne Santoleri-Cox of Southampton and Dorothy Drangula of Roebling; three brothers, Dominic Santoleri Jr. of Riverside and Frank and William Santoleri, both of Florence; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held from Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clare’s Church, East Front and Walnut streets, Florence.

James S. Wilson
FLORENCE - James S. Wilson, 41, died May 23 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
Born in Woodbury, he lived in Palmyra before moving to Florence 12 years ago.
He was a printer for CCL of Hightstown for 17 years. He owned Mill Tavern, Roebling, and enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Faunce Wilson; two sons, James and Michael Wilson, both of Florence; his mother, Carmella Carfield Amoroso of Stuart, Fla.; four brothers and a sister-in-law, John of Stuart, Anthony and Lynn Wilson of Vineland, Michael of Pennsauken and Thomas of Barre, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling.

Herbert S. Stone
BORDENTOWN CITY - Herbert S. Stone, 87, of Bordentown City died May 24 in Capital Health System at Fuld.
Born in Beach Haven, he had resided most of his life in this area.
He was a retired tool and die and model maker having over 20 years of service with RCA in Moorestown.
Mr. Stone was a life member of both the Bordentown Yacht Club and the Trenton-Falls Power Squadron. He was a member and exempt fireman with the Hope Hose-Humane Fire Company No. 1 and was a member of both the Delaware Rod and Gun Club and Bordentown Lodge No. 2085, BPOE. He was an avid boater and duck hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Miriam Stone of Bordentown City; a niece and nephew, Janet and Larry Denney of Bordentown; and two cousins, John W. Stone of New Hope, Pa. and Raymond Beck of Raleigh, N.C.
Memorial services were held from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown with the Rev. Kimberly Long officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Charles E. Howard, Sr.
MANSFIELD - Charles E. Howard Sr., 80, died May 23 at his home.
Born in Crosswicks, he had resided in Columbus for over 57 years.
Mr. Howard was the owner-operator of Sunny Lane Dairy Farm and did custom farm work for many farms in Burlington County.
He was a member of the Woodmansie Gun Club, the New Jersey Farm Bureau and the United Milk Producers.
Passing on his 58th wedding anniversary, he is survived by his wife, Marian Bowe Howard of Columbus; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Jr. and Mary Jane Howard of Columbus; four grandchildren; Bernard and Timothy Wadsworth, Rose Mary Gash and Taylor Howard and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held from the Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown. The Rev. William Houseworth officiated.
Interment was in Bordentown Cemetery.

Mildred V. Johnson
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP - Mildred V. Johnson, 64, died May 23 at Rancocas Valley Hospital.
Born in Caroline County, Va., she lived in Camden before moving to Bordentown 30 years ago.
She worked for the Civilian Personnel Department of Fort Dix for more than 28 years before retiring.
She attended Caroline County schools.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church, Camden, and Union Baptist Church. She was a member of many church organizations including the Flower Guild, Ladies Auxiliary and Missionary Society. She was a pastor’s aide and worked in a Camden soup kitchen to feed and clothe the poor.
Daughter of the late Robert F. and Corrine Jeter Johnson and mother of the late Robert, she is survived by her husband, Willie J. Johnson; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Alfred Johnson of Edgewater Park, Willie J. III and Hazel Johnson of Beverly and Rodney and Terry Johnson of Bordentown; two daughters and son-in-law, Gloria and Lawrence Edwards of Willingboro, and Sylvia Johnson of Bordentown; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Anna Mae Johnson, Roscoe and Myrtle Johnson, and Curtis, all of Caroline County, and Francis of Pennsauken; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Charlotte Haygood of Silver Spring, Md., Adelle and Arthur Johns of New York state, Ellen and John Prichard of Pennsauken and Phyllis Johnson of Voorhees; a close friend, Lisa Barnett of Beverly; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and other relatives.
The funeral was held at Union Baptist Church, Bordentown, with the Rev. John Williams officiating.
Burial was in Bordentown Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
Daniel Johnson
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - Daniel Johnson, 94, died May 20 at Kaiser Hospital.
Born in Vincetown, Pa., he was a longtime Bordentown resident before moving to California three years ago.
He worked for John A. Roebling’s Sons Co., Trenton for 30 years before retiring.
He was an exempt member and chief of the Weccacoe Fire Co. and served with the Bordentown Fire Police. He was a special police officer for Bordentown City.
Husband of the late Margaret Bell Johnson, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rose Johnson of Woodland Hills; a grandson, Scott William Johnson; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Michele Johnson.
Graveside memorial service was held at Christ Churchyard, Bordentown, with the Rev. Richard A.D. Benedict officiating.
Arrangements were by Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.
Josephine E. Bohonko
WHITING - Josephine E. Bohonko, 85, of Whiting died May 23 in the Mercerville Center in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she had resided most of her life in the area before moving to Whiting 15 years ago.
She was a retired employee of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church of Lawrenceville.
Sister of the late Catherine LaBate, she is survived by her husband, Michael, a sister, Adele McGrath of Trenton; three nieces, Catherine McHale of Hamilton, Judith Furth of Chesterfield and Patricia LaBate of Columbus; a nephew, Edward J. McGrath of Mt. Laurel and several great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Yardville, with the Rev. Gregory Vaughn, pastor, officiating.
Interment was in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township.
Arrangements were by the Huber-Moore Funeral Home of Bordentown.
Mark C. Fuccello
HAMILTON - Mark C. Fuccello, 81, of Hamilton Square, died May 19 at the Mercer County Geriatric Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton area resident.
He retired after 37 years as a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier.
Mr. Fuccello was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and received many decorations and citations, such as the Purple Heart.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Son of the late Anthony and Mamie Ailey Fuccello, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Inez Warner Fuccello; two sons, Mark A. and Dean R., both of Hamilton Square; a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Joseph Zazzo of Bordentown; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mae Fuccello of Trenton; four grandchildren, Cindy, Joey, Kim and Shelly Zazzo; nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Guerio Funeral Home, Trenton.
Burial was in the veterans section of Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Anita Neall
LAS VEGAS, Nevada Anita Romani Neall, 81, of Las Vegas, died May 19 at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Las Vegas.
Born in Florence, she lived in Las Vegas for the past 18 years.
She was a retired registered nurse.
A graduate of Bordentown High School, and Cooper Hospital of Nursing, Camden, Mrs. Neall was a captain during World War I in the Army Nurse Corp.
She was a former member of St. Claire’s Catholic Church, Florence.
Daughter of the late Augustine and Margaret Paglione Romani and sister of the late Laura C. Jacoby, she is survived by her husband, Meredith Neall; a daughter, Margaret Grant of Las Vegas; a son, Timothy Neall of Pryor, Okla.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two nephews, Leonard Jacoby and Albert Jacoby, both of Florence.
Private funeral services were held in Las Vegas.
Anne Thorkildsen
Griggstown resident
GRIGGSTOWN — Anne R. Thorkildsen died Tuesday at St. Peter’s Medical Center in New Brunswick. She was 95.
Born in Lyngdal, Norway, she came to Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1922 and moved to Griggstown in 1950.
She attended Bunker Hill Lutheran Church.
Wife of the late Karl Thorkildsen, she is survived by sons Stanley, Raymond and John Thorkildsen, all of Griggstown; daughters Gladys Duell of Griggstown and Anita Kokosinski of Piscataway; brother Sigvald Ellisen of Kendall Park; sisters Borghild Hansen of New York, Alfhild Borgen of Farsund, Norway, Emmy Nilsen and Margit Tjomsland, both of Oslo, Norway, and Dagney Eikeland of Lyngdal, Norway; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bunker Hill Lutheran Church, Griggstown. Burial will follow at Griggstown Cemetery.
