Margaret Troncone
Daughter lives in West Windsor
NORWALK, Conn. — Margaret M. Troncone died Sunday at Honey Hill Care Center. She was 75.
Born in Greenwich, she was a resident of Norwalk for 50 years.
She was a graduate of Port Chester High School and a former member of the Shore & Country Club and the Norwalk Hospital Women’s Board.
Daughter of the late John and Anna Liska Motay, wife of the late Carmine V. “Ike” Troncone, who died Tuesday, and sister of the late George Motay, she is survived by son Mark Troncone of Norwalk; daughter Dr. Gina T. Smith of West Windsor; brother John Motay of Greenwich; sister Helen Daly of SouthBend, Ind.; and a grandson.
Services will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with the Rev. David W. Blanchfield, pastor of St. Jerome’s Church, officiating.
Burial will be private.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Carmine V. Troncone
Daughter lives in West Windsor
NORWALK, Conn. — Carmine V. “Ike” Troncone died Tuesday at home. He was 76.
Born in Stamford, he was a Norwalk resident for 50 years.
He retired from the Daniel J. Deering Construction Co., where he was secretary and treasurer.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a life member of the Laurel Athletic club, a member of the Master Builders Association, the Norwalk Quatette Club and a former member and treasurer of the Shore & Country Club.
Son of the late Aniello Troncone, husband of the late Margaret M. Troncone, who died Sunday, and brother of the late Annette Troncone, he is survived by his mother, Josephine DiDominica Troncone; son Mark of Norwalk; daughter Dr. Gina T. Smith of West Windsor; sisters Corrine Potolicchio, Sylvia Pack and Madelyn DiLeo, all of Norwalk; and a grandson.

Stella Heflich
Lived at Homestead Farm
MONTGOMERY — Stella Heflich of the Belle Mead section died Wednesday at home. She was 86.
Born in Secaucus, she lived there until 1943, when she moved to Belle Mead.
She lived at Homestead Farm in Belle Mead, a livestock farm operated by her late husband beginning in 1943.
She was a founding member of Hillsborough Baptist Church.
Wife of the late George Heflich, stepmother of the late Leonard Heflich and Joan Borden, she is survived by sons Henry Heflich of Bernville, Pa. and Max Heflich of Robesonia, Pa.; daughters Emily Urban of Belle Mead, Mary Rosania of Bridgewater and Nancy Bennett of Belle Mead; sister Wanda Carrajat of Secaucus; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillsborough Baptist Church, 109 New Amwell Road, Hillsborough.
Burial will be in Neshanic Cemetery, Amwell Road, Neshanic.
Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Belle Mead.

Ann McGann
Six-year Montgomery resident
MONTGOMERY — Ann McGann died Monday at the Princeton Forrestal Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro. She was 87.
Born in New York, she lived in Hoboken and Jersey City before moving to the Montgomery senior citizens housing complex in 1994.
She was a former employee of the Lipton Tea Co. in Hoboken.
She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, and Skillman and Montgomery Senior Citizens.
Wife of the late James F. McGann, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law Maryann and Keith Hunter of Rocky Hill; sisters Rita Sepp and Rose Basile; and grandson Todd Hunter.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. today at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, Skillman Road, Skillman.
Burial will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Lena Esposito
Former Princeton resident
LAWRENCE — Lena Esposito died May 16 at home. She was 80.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Princeton from 1939 to 1994, when she moved to Lawrence.
Mother of the late Edward and Leonard Esposito, she is survived by husband Vincent J. Esposito; son Paul Esposito of Lawrence; son and daughter-in-law James and Carole Esposito of Hamilton; and grandchildren Kimberly Petro and Keith Esposito.
Services were private. Arrangements were under the direction of The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
Dr. Morris Mac Hudis
Professor at dental school
MONROE — Dr. Morris Mac Hudis died Saturday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he was a former resident of Yonkers and Irvington, N.Y. before moving to Monroe four years ago.
He was a professor at the New York University Dental School, teaching prosthodontics for more than 42 years.
He was a graduate of the City College of New York and the New York University Dental School.
He was a fellow of the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
He lectured internationally and authored numerous articles in the field of prosthodontics including a textbook, “Dental Laboratory Prosthodontics.”
A veteran of World War II, he served in the Navy and Naval Reserve from 1941 to 1968, retiring with the rank of lieutenant commander.
He served as a trustee of the Men’s Club at the Jewish Community Center of Tarrytown.
Son of the late Rafael and Ida Hudis, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dr. Ann Hudis; son and daughter-in-law Dr. Stephen and Merrye Hudis of Princeton; daughter and son-in-law Dr. Paula Hudis and Dr. Ira Fink of Berkeley, Calif.; daughter Iris Hudis of New York; and grandchildren Loel and Suzanne Hudis.
The funeral was Monday. The period of mourning will be observed through Wednesday at the Hudis residence in Monroe and on Thursday at the Hudis residence in Princeton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s disease research or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
Matthew T. Geis, Jr.
Former Princeton resident
VERO BEACH, Fla. — Matthew Thomas Geis, Jr. died Friday at Royal Palm Convalescent Center. He was 81.
Born in New York, he was formerly a resident of Princeton and Spring Lake before moving to Vero Beach in 1988.
He was an executive at Cannon Mills in New York before retiring in 1985.
He attended The Lawrenceville School and was a graduate of Princeton University, class of 1943, where he was a member of the Quadrangle Club as well as the track and field and tennis teams.
He was a member of the Nassau Club in Princeton and the Riomar Bay Yacht Club in Vero Beach.
He is survived by son Matthew Thomas Geis II and daughters Mary Margaret Caskey and Dorothy Geis, all of Vero Beach.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church in the fall.
Private burial service will be held at Monroe City Cemetery, Monroe, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or VNA Hospice of Indian River County or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
Arthur A. Foy
Partner in accounting firm
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Arthur A. Foy of Neshaminy Manor Home died Friday. He was 84.
Born in Trenton, he was a partner in the certified public accounting firm of Parsons, Foy and Murphy of Princeton.
He was schooled in Inverness, Scotland and Rider College.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by son Arthur Ian Foy of Towson, Md.; daughters Maureen Field of Oudon, France and Leslie F. Grant of New Hope; and five grandchildren.
Robert H. Myers
Career in landscape design
HILTON HEAD PLANTATION, S.C. — Robert H. Myers died May 25 at Hilton Head Medical Center. He was 75.
Born in Newark, he lived in Princeton nearly 50 years.
He was employed by the state Department of Transportation and was the head of the landscaping department when he retired in 1987.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps in Europe, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1950 with a degree in landscape-architecture and then joined the DOT.
He enjoyed travel and divided his time between homes in Princeton and Hilton Head Island.
He is survived by his good friend Augustus Hulit.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Princeton.
JOHN J. GALLAGHER
JOHN J. GALLAGHER, 77, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died May 25 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Surviving are his wife, Carmela "Millie" Di Rubbio Gallagher; a son, Dennis of Sayreville; a daughter, Marguerite Gonzalez of Parlin; a brother, Richard Gallagher of Sag Harbor, N.Y.; and three granddaughters. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.
