RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Carl F. Carrer, age 95 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, May 8, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Newark, NJ, April 10, 1911, he was the son of the late Charles and Henrietta Feitzinger Carrer. He had formerly resided in Union, NJ.
He was a truck driver for Riverside Trucking( Schiffenhaus Bros.), Newark, NJ, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Teamster's Local #478 for over forty years, serving as shop steward.
Carl enjoyed playing the piano, solving crossword puzzles, and watching and playing baseball. He played for the Newark Opal semi-pro baseball team in his twenties.
His wife of over sixty-five years, Elizabeth A. Schwartz Carrer, died in 2003. He was also pre-deceased by a brother, Edwin, and four sisters, Rosalie Lasky, Marguerite McCormack, Beatrice Wagner, and Hilda Novak. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Skibinsky and her husband Anthony of Raritan Township, NJ, and Diane E. Brandauer of Raritan Township, NJ; and one grandson, Richard Carl Skibinsky; his caregiver, Donna Klimczak; two sisters, Nellie McGovern and Roberta Gallo, both of Toms River, NJ; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Anne Pietrucha of Union, NJ, and Richard and Elizabeth Schwartz of Clark, NJ, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Victories Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ. Interment
will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4:30 PM and 7-8:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Edward R. Martin, Jr.
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Edward R. Martin, Jr., of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Raritan Township, NJ, March 31, 1962, he was the son of Edward R. and Eileen Godown Martin, Sr., of Raritan Township, NJ.
He received a BA in Communications from Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ, and was a 1980 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ.
He was formerly a member of the Hunterdon Harmonizers, and was employed with Roger's Appliances, Raritan Township, NJ.
Surviving, in additon to his parents, are a sister, Erin Kalajian, of Delaware Township, NJ, two nieces and a nephew.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
Andrew Della Ventura
PITTSTOWN, NJ - Andrew Della Ventura, age 77 years, of the Pittstown section of Union Township, NJ, died on Monday, May 29, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, August 22, 1928, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Angelina Pascurella Della Ventura.
He had formerly resided in Plainfield, NJ, and South Plainfield, NJ, before moving to Union Township twenty years ago.
He was a devoted husband, father, and pop-pop who enjoyed wine making, carpentry, hunting, horse racing, and raising rabbits. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and at Atlantic City.
He retired from the South Plainfield Public Works Department in 1994. He was a hard working builder and carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Amelia Natale Della Ventura; two sons, Salvatore and his wife Dollie Della Ventura of Neshanic Station, NJ, and Andrew Della Ventura of Dunellen, NJ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Robert Van Hoesen of Pittstown, NJ, and April and Ron Babich of Califon, NJ; four brothers, Anthony Della Ventura of South Plainfield, NJ, Michael Della Ventura of North Plainfield, NJ, Frank Della Ventura of Millington, NJ, and Nick Della Ventura of South Plainfield, NJ; eight grandchildren: Paul Vega, Rachel Vega, Rebecca Miller, Mario Vega, Theo Della Ventura, Robert Van Hoesen, Jr., Rachel Babich, and Steven Babich; and two great-grandchildren, Janelle and Corrina Vega.

Floyd M. Schwab
EAST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ - Floyd M. Schwab, age 84 years, died October 24, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Parlin, NJ, May 8, 1927, son of the late Frederick and Florence Parker Schwab, he had resided in East Amwell Township, NJ for forty-seven years and was a life long dairy farmer.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau; the Central Jersey Holstein Association; former member of the Hunterdon County Board of Agriculture; former director of the Flemington Auction Market and was a former Trustee of the Larison's Corner Presbyterian Church. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-two years, Marie Holsten Schwab; four daughters, Cathy Schwab of State College Pennsylvania, Linda Haughey and her husband Dennis of Pittstown, NJ, Wendy Dejneka and her husband Andy of Delaware Township, NJ, Marianne Busher and her husband Edward of Pittstown, NJ; two sons, Clifford Schwab and his wife Joy of Winthrop, WA, and Eric Schwab and his wife Renee of Readington Township, NJ; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

FLEMINGTON, NJ - Annie Rodriguez, stillborn infant, died on Friday, May 26, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
She was the daughter of Valente Vasquez and Micaela Rodriguez of Flemington, NJ.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Armando Joseph Massimo
BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, NJ - Joseph Massimo, age 73 years, of Bethlehem Township, NJ, died on Friday, May 19, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Benevento, Italy, September 12, 1932, he was the son of the late Nicola and Carmela Colabelli Massimo. He had formerly resided in Clinton, NJ, and Flemington, NJ.
He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a self-employed licensed architect operating the Massimo Associates.
He was a trustee of the 200 Club in Hunterdon County, NJ, a member of the VFW Post, Berkeley Heights, NJ, and was formerly active in the Italian-American Club of Hunterdon County.
He is survived by three daughters; Jeanette Coulter of Tewksbury Township, NJ, Diane Ashenfalder of Pohatcong Township, NJ, and Patti Fritchman of Zionsville, PA; a brother, Nicholas Massimo of Springfield, NJ; a sister, Mary Malvossi of Stirling, NJ; his fiance, Holly Greenwood of Bethlehem Township, NJ; and six grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 5 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
with military honors in Arlington National cemetery will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-5 PM and 7-8 PM in the funeral home.

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Thomas C. Foster, age 61 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Bullville, NY, died on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at his residence.
Born November 22, 1944 in Port Jervis, NY, son of Anne Marie Weidenbacher Foster of Basking Ridge, NJ and the late Raymond Burman Foster, he had resided in Raritan Township for the past month, having previosuly lived in Bullville, NY, Monroe, NY and in various parts of Hunterdon County, NJ prior to that.
He was Owner and Operator of A-Z Renovations, Bullville, NY. Additionally, Mr. Foster restored one of a kind automobiles, for which he won many awards.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two daughters, Adrienne N. Foster of Raritan Township, NJ and Sarah M. Foster of Glen Gardner, NJ; a son, Thomas E. Foster of West Milford, NJ; and a sister, Sally Ann Freund of Chatham, NJ.
Funeral Services and Interment

Jose Eduardo del cid Rios
FLEMINGTON, NJ - Jose Eduardo del cid Rios, infant son of Jose and Carmen Patricia Rios of Flemington, NJ, was born and died on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Karen Garcia Rios and Ducle Evlyn del cid Rios, both of Flemington, NJ.

Elizabeth A. Kanach
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - Elizabeth A. Kanach, age 88 years, of Montgomery Township, NJ, formerly Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, May 6, 2006, in Princeton Medical Center, Princeton, NJ.
Born in Vintondale, PA, August 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Printzinger Kahanca.
A homemaker, she was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, NJ. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America; former member of the Readington Township Board of Elections, and was formerly active with the Hunterdon County 4H. Mrs. Kanach, and her late husband, Walter, were successfull farmers in Raedington Township for over fifty years.
Her husband, Walter J. Kanach, died in 1996. Surviving are a son, Robert Kanach, of Arnold, MD; two daughters, Nancy Kanach of Princeton, NJ, and Sharon Kanach of Normandy, France; a brother, Michael Kahanca of Ashtabula, OH; three sisters, Mary Kahanca and Mathilda Kane both of Ashtabula, OH, and Olga Mildenberger of Cleveland, OH; and four grandchildren.
