Hiram Bellis
ROCK HILL, SC - Mr. Hiram I. Bellis, age 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2008 at Westminster Health and Rehab Center in Rock Hill, SC. Preceding him in death was his wife, Edna Holcombe Bellis, two sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan Bellis of Sand Lake, MI; a sister-in-law, Katherine Bellis of Colorado Springs, CO; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Born in Ringoes, NJ, he was the son of Hiram D. Bellis and Etta Phillips Bellis. After graduating from Flemington High School, he attended Trenton Teacher’s College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He and Etta Holcombe were married
in June of 1941.
During WWII, he served in the Navy and was stationed in San Diego. After the war, they returned to NJ, but the sunshine of southern California lured them back to San Diego where he spent his working life in the aircraft industry. After retirement, they moved to Rock Hill in 1980.
Hiram was always deeply involved in Christian ministries where ever he lived. He served as an elder in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, was on the Southern California Missions Board, and taught Sunday school. He also taught the senior’s Sunday school class at Westminster, was a Gideon, and was involved in a jail ministry.
Burial
will take place in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Larison's Corner, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The date will be announced later.

Karen J. Kubik
HILLSBOROUGH TOWNSHIP, NJ - Karen J. Kubik, age 54 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died on Sunday, March 2, 2008, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Amytiville, NY, October 2, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Doris Olsen Kubik. She had formerly resided in Edison, NJ.
Surviving are two sisters, Carole Cumba of Hillsborough, NJ, and Carla Williams of New Brunswick, NJ; and a brother, Warren Kubik, of Woodbridge, NJ.
Funeral arrangements will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Eileen Anastasio
PERRINEVILLE, NJ - Eileen Anastasio, age 73 years, of Perrineville, NJ, died on March 2, 2008, in Centra State Hospital, Freehold, NJ.
Born Februray 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mabel McEwen Anastasio.
Surviving are two nieces.

Frances Rose Sigliano
BRANCHBURG, NJ - Frances Rose Sigliano, age 84 years, of Branchburg, NJ, died on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at her daughter's residence in East Amwell Township, NJ.
Born in New York City, NY, September 16, 1923, daughter of the late Donnato and Mary Guido, she had resided in Branchburg since 1990. Prior to that, she had lived in Marlboro, NJ and Flushing, NY.
A Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, she was formerly a Data Programmer for many years.
A daughter, Phyllis A. Sigliano, died in 1999.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, James Joseph Sigliano; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jean and Joe Martin of Unicoi, TN and Margaret Frances and Henry Ferreira of East Amwell Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Jamie Schefflin of Johnson City, TN, James Henry Ferreira of Yonkers, NY and Dani Schefflin of Bethlehem, PA; a brother, Joseph Guido of Whitestone, NY; two sisters, Anna Ingenito of Elmhurst, NY and Virginia Grasso of Flushing, NY; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home.

Lydia Ercolina Gatti
CARROLLTON, TX - Lydia Ercolina Gatti passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008. She was 95.
She was a former Hunterdon resident, living in the Flemington-Croton area from 1948 until 1986.
Born on Aug. 28, 1912, in Torino, Italy, Lydia was the daughter of Antonio and Josephina (Zanino) Trucco. Lydia immigrated to the United States with her mother on the ship Conte Verde in October 1924. (Her father had come to the U.S. the year before.)
The family settled in New York City where Lydia attended school, excelling in her classes despite having to learn a new language. After completing eighth grade, Lydia attended Manhattan Trade School for two years, majoring in dressmaking. Lydia completed an additional year in public school, and then was old enough to apply for a work permit.
She worked as a seamstress for the couture dress designers at Saks Fifth Avenue, until her daughter was 1-year old after which she remained a homemaker, but still designing and sewing clothes for the family, including her daughter's wedding gown.
Lydia was married
to Julius Edward Gatti for 62 years. He died in 2001.
Mr. Gatti was a machinist and with his brothers formed the Transomatic Corp., which performed metal-fabricating defense work during World War II at their plant on Route 12 in Flemington. After selling the building in 1956 to the Bemis Brothers Bag Co., the family entered the wholesale electrical, heating and plumbing supply business by opening the Circle G Supply Co. on Route 202-31 in Raritan Township.
The Gattis moved to Toms River in 1986, then to Texas about eight years ago.
Mrs. Gatti is survived by her daughter, Alba Kuhlmeier and husband, Jim, of West Hills, Calif.; her son, Richard Gatti and wife Gloria of Double Oak, Texas; three grandchildren, Ronald Kuhlmeier and wife, Stephanie of Simi, Calif., Valerie Kuhlmeier of Kingston, Canada, and Robert Gatti and wife, Kathryn of Coppell, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Timothee and Toby, all of Simi, Calif.
Both Lydia and her husband will be buried in Flemington in May with the assistance of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Margaret H. O'Leary
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Margaret H. O'Leary, age 89 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Clover Hill, NJ, January 21, 1919, daughter of the late Nathan and Annie Hagaman Allen, she had resided in the Flemington, NJ area for the past twenty years, having previously resided in Houston, TX and Cranford, NJ.
A Homemaker, she was a member of several local Senior Groups including the Senior Singles of Flemington as well as Friendship Circle.
Her husband, John Nelson O'Leary, whom she married
on July 30, 1938, died in 1978.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jack Baly of Rochester, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kathy O'Leary of Raritan Township, NJ; six grandchildren, Sandi Middleton, Susan Scalia, Janet Yankanich, Barbara Baly, John O'Leary and Jason O'Leary; and three great grandsons, Sam and Steven Middleton and Eric Yankanich.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ followed by private interment in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home.

Harry Austin Lund
SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA - Harry Austin Lund, 71, of Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, March 12th, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. His son, Dr. Mark E. Lund M.D. said “my father died peacefully in his sleep, with his family and loved ones at his side, after every effort had been exhausted to fight a rare blood vessel disorder that affects less than 1% of the population.”
Mr. Lund was born April 20th 1936 in Metuchen NJ and was a life-long resident of the Garden State until shortly before his death.
A graduate of Saint Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, Catholic University in Washington D.C., the Darden School of Management at the University of Virginia, and New York University School of Law; Mr. Lund served as Senior Vice President in charge of Corporate Financial Consulting at Irving Trust Company. Later, Harry acted as President and CEO of the Stamford Connecticut based Protein Capital Corp, a company engaged in the acquisition and management of dairy companies. Mr. Lund was also the founder of Portland Square Group, a mid-sized investment bank.
Mr. Lund’s daughter, Sharon M. Grant said “of all his many accomplishments, Dad was proudest of his MBA from the University of Virginia, his long service as a corporate financial consultant with Irving Trust, his many friends and contacts worldwide, and most of all his family. Dad always put his family and friends first. He came third.”
An internationally known author and lecturer on financial topics, Mr. Lund was best known as the director of the Week on Wall Street seminars. He was the creator and managing editor of Private Placements: National and International Markets, founder and frequent contributor to The Financial Advisor newsletter. He also wrote guidelines used by the US Government Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp.
Harry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine; his children Dr. Mark Lund and Sharon Grant; their spouses Wendy and Scott; and his four grandchildren Austin-Leigh, Harrison, Spencer, and Alexander.
His wife, Elaine, has been touched by the outpouring of prayers and affection during her husband’s illness and since his passing. She said, “he was blessed in life by the love and caring of so many good friends and family and Harry carries that love with him into the afterlife. I want to thank all of the many people who came to visit in the hospital and sent their good wishes, prayers, letters, phone calls, and gift baskets. It is comforting to remember that my husband touched so many so deeply.”
Mr. Lund served in the US Army and Reserves in the counter-intelligence division from 1960-1966. He was on the Church Council at Our Lady of Victories in Baptistown NJ, and Treasurer of the New Jersey Council on Economic Education. Mrs. Grant, said that “Dad loved baseball, jazz, humor, and above all else traveling. He loved to just get in the car on a Saturday and take us all on long trips in the country that we called Harry Lund's Adventures”
Funeral Arrangements are being handled by the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A viewing will be held at Holcombe-Fisher on Sunday, March 16th from 3-6 p.m. to be followed by a funeral at Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ, commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day. Mr. Lund will be laid to rest in St. Magdalen’s cemetery in Flemington.

Raymond Little
FLEMINGTON, NJ - Raymond Little, age 66 years, formerly of Flemington, NJ. died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in Flemington, NJ, December 5, 1941, he was the son of Albert Klein of Raritan Township, NJ, and the late Hazel Sheppard Klein.
He was a maintenence man for Little Sisters of the Poor, Raritan Township, NJ.
His wife, Sharon Housel Little, died in 2002. Surviving, in addition to his father, is a daughter, Joy Little-Lemon, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
