RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - A. Helen Austin, age 92 years, of the Copper Hill section of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at her residence.
Born in Bristol, CT, May 8, 1919, daughter of the late John and Matilda Comm Redman, she had resided in Raritan Township, NJ for the past forty-eight years.
She was a Registered Nurse for many years, working at various Hospitals including Runnells Specialized Hospital, Union, NJ.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Stephen O. Austin in 1983; a sister, Edith Scarritt; and a brother, Robie Redman.
Surviving are a daughter, Hope A. Austin of Raritan Township, NJ; three grandchildren; S. Austin Berg and his wife Amber Berg, Kimberly B. Ace and her husband Michael Ace and Meghan H. Berg; and two great grandchildren, Madison L. Berg and Derek R. Berg.
Funeral Services will take place Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, preceded by visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m.. Graveside Services will take place in the Spring in Hillside Cemetery, 75 North Main Street, Terryville, CT 06786.

Nicholas J. Minginourch
KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Nicholas J. Minginourch, age 95 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his home.
Born in Cliffside Park, NJ, October 2, 1916, son of the late Ivan John and Anastasia Minginourch, he had resided in Kingwood Township since the 1950's, having formerly lived in Cliffside Park, NJ.
A United States Army veteran of World War II serving in Okinawa and the Philippines, Mr. Minginourch was a retired self-employed landlord and interior designer. He desired to be a Catalyst of positive change for himself and to those he loved.
He is survived by three nieces; eleven grand nieces and nephews; and fourteen great grand nieces and grand nephews. He was cared for in his later years by his devoted niece Stacy Tuzik who lived in the house next to his.
Graveside Services will take place Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, 425 Engle Street, Englewood, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. If you will be traveling to the cemetery from the Funeral Home, please arrive between 9:45-10:00 a.m. when prayers will be said before departing for the Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
Lois Strouse Danberry
EAST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lois Strouse Danberry, age 93 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at her home.
Born in Flemington, NJ, March 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Blanche Alvater Strouse. She lived most of her life in Ringoes, NJ.
She was a graduate of Flemington High School and then went on to graduate from Presbyterian Hospital, Newark, NJ, where she received her R.N. license in 1940. She later worked at the East Amwell Township Schools in the kitchen and library.
Mrs. Danberry was a member of the Amwell Valley Fire Company Auxiliary for over 50 years.
Her husband of seventy years, Charles Danberry, died in 2010. She was also pre-deceased by her brother, Fran Strouse, and her sister, Jean Cook. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan C. and Cindy Danberry, Sr. of Ringoes, NJ; and a grandson, Jonathan C. Danberry, Jr. of Ringoes, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Larison's Corner, NJ. Calling hours will held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
Carlton Nichols Frost
CLINTON, NJ - Carlton Frost, age 78 years, of Clinton, NJ, died on Thursday, March 1, 2012, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Far Hills, NJ, February 19, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Emily Conklin Frost. He had resided in Clinton for over forty years.
He was a retired civil engineer.
He is survived by a daughter, Carla Anne Frost and her husband, Howard Kramer, of Marietta, GA; a son, Kevin Frost of Mays landing, NJ; a sister, Martha Regan of Phillipsburg, NJ; two brothers, Jack Frost of Far Hills, NJ, and Rodney Frost of Corning, NY; and two granddaughters, Emily Rose Kramer and Natalie Anne Kramer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be private. There will be no calling hours.

William Milton Curtis
EASTON, PA - William Milton Curtis, age 79 years, died peacefully at home in Easton, PA after a long struggle with cancer on Friday, March 2, 2012 at his home.
Born June 26th 1932 to Arthur and Ruth Curtis who preceded him in death along with his sisters Marion Bennett and Dorothy Jewell and his wife Grace Isele Curtis.
He is survived by his son Dean and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a devoted husband and father as well as a talented designer, and successful hard working entrepreneur. As a youngster he worked at the Hiram Deats farm, JoHanna Farms and The Lehigh Valley Railroad as a time keeper. He was a member of the Flemington High School Class of 1950 then graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and later earned an MBA from Syracuse University. He became an industrial designer and product manager at Westinghouse, Corning Glass, Johns Manville, and Masonite research. He was a partner in the Nieu Amsterdam Group and worked at Coldwell Banker late in life.
He was passionate about architecture, designed several buildings, developed properties, remodeled and restored homes and businesses and had a few patents. Active in the community, at various times, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He was active in Sea Scouts and volunteered his time preparing taxes for the poor, with the Cub Scouts, Indian Guides, and served as a board member on the South Branch of the Raritan Watershed Association (in which he enjoyed swimming as a child) and the Southern Tier arts and craft show in Corning NY.
He is grateful to have been able to visit with family and friends shortly before he passed away. He asks that you remember him simply by living well. He will be missed. Memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimers Association or the charity of one’s choice.

Anne M. Foran
FLEMINGTON, NJ - Anne M. Foran, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.
Born in Augusta, GA, March 30, 1920, daughter of the late Frank Xavier and Eulelia Flueger Mulherin, she had resided in the Flemington area since 1945.
She was a long time Teacher at Hobby Horse Nursey School, Raritan Township, NJ.
A Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Foran was also a volunteer for many years at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ; was a member of the Flemington Woman's Club; and was a former member of Copper Hill Country Club, Raritan Township, NJ.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, State Senator Walter Foran in 1986; a daughter, Leisa Ketchum in 2008; and a sister, Marjorie Land in 2012.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Dorothy Foran of Flemington, NJ; a son, Frank Foran of Sewell, NJ; a son-in-law, Jeff Ketchum of Bethesda, MD; two sisters, Eulelia Thebaud of Columbus, GA and Lois Owens of Orinda, CA; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
