PATRICIA A. (GRADY) McNAMARA, 70, of Oceanport, died May 3 at home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Oceanport since 1968. Mrs. McNamara retired last year after 25 years of service with Monmouth University, West Long Branch, where she was an office manager. Mrs. McNamara was predeceased by her husband, John J.; and a daughter, Linda Kozonasky, both in 1994. She is survived by two sons, John J. III, Ewing, and Mark, Oceanport; a daughter, Barbara Conover, Oceanport; and eight grandchildren. Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown, was in charge of arrangements. Interment

MICHAEL W. ROSLOWSKI, 47, of Rumson, died Oct. 13 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, he lived there prior to moving to Rumson 37 years ago. He was a traction aide at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a communicant of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Curry Roslowski, in 1990. He is survived by his father, William Roslowski; and a sister, Mary A. Roslowski, both of Rumson. Arrangements were made by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Mass was at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson, with interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
DOROTHY RAYNOLDS O’REILLY, 92, of Holmdel, died Oct. 16 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in Sante Fe, N.M., she previously resided in Shrewsbury and Red Bank for 60 years, before moving to Holmdel. She was a homemaker, as well as founding organizer of the New Jersey Association for Retarded Children. She was pre-deceased by her son, P. Dennis O’Reilly, in 1967; and her parents James and Brownie Baum Raynolds. She is survived by two sons, John B. O’Reilly of Worcester, Mass., and Edward L. O’Reilly of Pasadena, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia A. Doelger of Shrewsbury; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
BARBARA JANE McCURNIN, 36, of Union Beach, died Oct. 10 at home. Born in Red Bank, she previously lived in Middletown before moving to Union Beach three years ago. She was a sixth-grade teacher at Bolger Middle School, Keansburg, for three years, where she coached seventh- and eighth-grade softball and participated in the XL (extra help) program for students. She was a member of the Republican Club of Monmouth County, Middletown. She is survived by her parents, Joseph R. and Janet L. Giaimo McCurnin of Middletown; her twin sister, Carleen and brother-in-law Ned Brines of Los Alamitos, Calif.; a sister, Kimberely McCurnin of the West Keansburg section of Hazlet; her aunt and uncle, Barbara and John Johnson of Leonardo, and a niece and nephew. Services were arranged by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, with a Mass at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, in the East Keansburg section of Middletown. Interment

KENNETH L. HAHN SR., 87, of Fair Haven, died Oct. 9 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Columbus, Neb., he was raised in Burwell, Neb., and lived in Fair Haven the past 50 years. He worked in administration for the U.S. Postal Service, Shrewsbury for 15 years. He spent his career in the U.S. Army, and received the Purple Heart while serving in the Pacific during World War II. He also served with the Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth and with the European Occupation Forces in Germany. He was predeceased by his wife, Lola A. Appleby Hahn, in 1980; and his parents, Frederick and Flora Long Hahn. He is survived by three sons, Kenneth L. Hahn of Califon, Robert W. Herndon of Little Silver and Dennis R. Hahn of Hollis, N.H.; a daughter, Doris Dean of Shrewsbury; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Interment

KATHLEEN "KITTY" FUNDERBURK EMMONS, 87, of Fair Haven died Nov. 10 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Cheraw, S.C., she lived in Fair Haven until 1996 when she retired to Cheraw. She was a nurse at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, for 42 years, and was in charge of the emergency room for 15 years before retiring in 1978. She was a lifetime member of the Fair Haven Ladies Auxiliary, as well as a Gold Star Mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Emmons, in 1969; a son, William "Billy" Emmons; and her parents, Chester and Etta Laney Funderburk. She is survived by her son, Edward "Buddy" T. Emmons of Fair Haven; a daughter, Bonnie Tilly of Fair Haven; her brother, Joseph Funderburk of Raleigh, N.C.; her sister, Anne Louise Burns of Red Bank; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Jason Tilly; and three great-grandchildren, Shannon, Gunnar and Ryan Tilly. WILLIAM P. LYNCH, 83, of Middletown died Nov. 16 at home. He was born in Jersey City. He was an executive vice president for Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, for 45 years. He was involved in fund raising for the United Way of Newark. He was predeceased by his parents, William P. and Catherine Dillon Lynch; a brother, Francis Lynch; a sister, Theresa Gibbs; and a grandson, Dean Raymond. He is survived by his wife, Irene D. Lynch of Middletown; two sons, William P. Lynch of Eatontown, and Kevin Lynch of Jensen Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, , Barbara and James Raymond of Lincroft; two sisters, Mary Halleran and Loretta Toussaint, both of Kearny; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. PATRICIA BERNSTEIN, 60, of Sea Bright died Nov. 7 at home. Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, she previously resided in Howell and Westfield before moving to Sea Bright six years ago. She was a real estate agent for Burgdorff Realtors, Middletown, where she achieved "Million Dollar Club" status. Prior to that, she was employed with the Bank of America, California, as well as owner of Le Petit Salon, Westfield. She was a member of the Shrewsbury Power Squadron boating association. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence H. Bernstein, in July; a son, Scott Stevens, in 1987; and her father, Mozart Vallee. She is survived by her daughter, Karolyn Wray of Sea Bright; a son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Chris Stevens of Garwood; a stepdaughter, Sheree Volak of Lorain, Ohio; a stepson, Michael Bernstein of Kendrick, Idaho; her mother, Geraldine Perault Vallee; and two sisters, Charlotte and Karo Vallee, all of Quebec; three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Services were held at United Methodist Church, Sea Bright, under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
GEORGE E. SPERRY, 88, of Keansburg died Nov. 9 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, he lived in Massapequa Park, Long Island, N.Y., prior to moving to Keansburg. He was a traffic manager for the National Distillers & Chemical Corp., New York City, for 25 years before retiring in 1975. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcello and Caterina Speronello. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Miller Sperry of Keansburg; two sons, Daniel Sperry of Rockaway and George M. Sperry of Wilmington, N.C.; a daughter, Lorraine Asman of Little Silver; a sister, Elsie Keating of Fort Lee; and four grandchildren. The John E. ROBERT BORTON STRATTON, 82, of Middletown, died Nov. 9 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Spring Lake, he lived in Moorestown and Ocean Grove before moving to Middletown 43 years ago. He was an accountant auditor for Nabisco Corp., Hanover, for 20 years and retired in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 351st Heavy Bomb Group in the European theater and African-Middle Eastern theater, and attained the rank of captain. He was a member of Toastmasters, Red Bank. He was a treasurer for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 142, Middletown for several years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Rohland Stratton; two sons, Richard Stratton of Barrington, R.I., and Laurence Stratton of San Francisco; a daughter, Leslie Zomro of Rumson; two brothers, Edward Stratton of South Carolina, and Donald Stratton of Tinton Falls and Florida; and six grandchildren. MARTIN LIPSZIC, 80, of Monroe Township, formerly of Millstone Township, died July 27 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to his retirement, he was a poultry farmer in Millstone. Surviving are his wife, Hannah Katz Lipszic; a daughter, Rose F. Hayet of Oceanport; and a grandson. Arrangements were under the direction of the Higgins Funeral Home, Freehold, with services at Perrineville Jewish Chapel, Perrineville section of Millstone. Interment
