RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Jose Hernandez, age 49 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in El Canton Rincon, Tepemechin, Cabanas, El Salvador, November 25, 1963, son of Martin and Angela Callejas Hernandez, he had resided in the Hunterdon County area for the past twenty years, having formerly lived in Somerville and Plainfield, NJ.
He was a custodian at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ for the past fifteen years.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife of twenty nine years, Marina Dolores Pineda Hernandez; four daughters, Ana Milagro Hernandez and her husband, Welner Armando Mejia, of Raritan Township, NJ, Maria Beatris Hernandez and her fiancé, Anand Mehta, M.D., of Lambertville, NJ, Yocelin Emerita Hernandez of Raritan Township, NJ and Ana Maritza Hernandez-Amaya in El Salvador; one son, Jose Antonio Hernandez of Raritan Township, NJ; six grandchildren; seven sisters; two brothers; and many extended family and friends in El Salvador and the United States.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Monday. Interment

Frank Joseph Dufek
ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ - Frank Joseph Dufek, 84 and long time resident of Alexandria Township, NJ and Bequia, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born to Mary Hornick and Frank Dufek from Hillside, NJ on April 30, 1928. He was a Business Graduate of Seton Hall University in 1952 and served in the US Army from 1946-1948 where he was stationed in Japan.
Frank married
Jean Audrey Nitschke from Kenilworth, NJ on January 21, 1956. Together they had three children, all whom survive him; Donna Dufek Durling and her fiance John C. Chigounis of Pittstown, NJ, Frank J. Dufek and his wife Suzie Geibel Dufek, of Milford, NJ and Joan Dufek Bolen and her husband, Brian Bolen of Brick, NJ.
Frank was a proud Grandfather of his six grandchildren, Dean Chapman Durling and Jonathan Durling both residing in Whitehouse, NJ, Ngaere Durling residing in Manhattan, NY, and Kyley Dufek, James Dufek, and Kristen Dufek all living in Milford, NJ. Also surviving are his brother, Robert Dufek and his wife Mary Dufek of Bedminster, NJ and his sister, Doris Dufek of Hillside, NJ.
He founded Dufek Incorporated, a successful Plumbing and Mechanical concern based in Kenilworth, NJ.
Frank lived a long, rich and family centered life. He enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. In search of his Shangrala, Frank finally settled on the island of Bequia where he shared his love for the sun, sea and dancing with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment

Marion Oravetz
FLEMINGTON, NJ - Marion Oravetz, age 91 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, January 7, 2013, in the Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, January 14, 1921, she had formerly resided in Yonkers, NY, moving to Flemington in 1991.
She was a retired security clerk with Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, NY.
She was a member of the Flemington American Legion Post #159 Ladies Auxiliary, the Flemington Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Hunterdon County Democrats, and was a volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center.
Her husband, George Oravetz, died in 1990. Surviving are her nephews and niece, Stephen Kilinski of Pohatcong Township, NJ, Paul Kilinski of Flemington, NJ, and Kathryn Kilinski of Vershire, VT.

Elpiniki N. Costas
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Elpiniki Costas, age 96 years, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in Foothill Acres, Hillsborough, NJ.
Born in Sparta, Greece, February 26, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Petros and Stavoula Giannaopoulos.
She was a homemaker and member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Trenton, NJ.
Her husband, Nicholas Costas, died in 1985. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Susan Costas, of Hillsborough, NJ; and a sister, Lefkothea Kalogerskos, of Athens, Greece.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-2 PM in the funeral home.

David Yacko
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - David Yacko, age 61 years, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Somerville, NJ, October 21, 1951, he was the son of Michael A. and Margaret Escok Yacko, Sr. of Flemington, NJ.
David was a food processing employee for Johanna Foods, Raritan Township, NJ.
He was a United States Coast Guard veteran serving from 1970-1972.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two daughters, Valerie Hoffman and her husband, Craig, of Scituate, MA and April Yacko of Cambridge, MA; a brother, Michael Yacko, Jr., D.M.D. and his wife, Charlene, of Franklin, TN; a niece, Amanda Yacko, and two nephews, Drew and Ben Yacko.
Funeral arrangements and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

FLEMINGTON, NJ - Fernando E. Angelbello, age 61 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.
He was born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba, August 8, 1951.

Arthur J. Leidich
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Arthur J. Leidich, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, April 10, 1938, son of the late Adam A. and Lillian Ruh Leidich, he had formerly resided in New Brunswick, NJ, before moving to Raritan Township in 1966.
Mr. Leidich received a BSEE degree in 1959 and a MSEE in 1964 from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn
He joined RCA Laboratories, Rocky Point, Long Island, after graduating in June 1959 and conducted field tests for project PANGLOSS.
From February 1960 to May 1962, he served on active duty as a commissioned office in the US Army Corps of Engineers.
In May 1962, he returned to RCA in Princeton, NJ, where he transferred to the Home Instruments Division Advanced Development Group. There he worked on T.V. chroma circuitry.
In September 1963, Mr. Leidich joined the newly formed defense Mico-Electronics Group of the Defense Electronics Product Division, Somerville, NJ. There he designed linear integrated circuits including operational and video amplifiers. Later he worked on Microwave integrated circuits including the control and sense circuitry for a US Army Airborne transmitter.
In May 1971, Mr. Leidich joined the Linear I. C. Design Group of the Solid State Division, Somerville, NJ. There he developed several ignition, control, and power circuits for automotive, audio, and TV tuning applications.
In November 1977, he transferred to the Government and High Reliability Department where he designed Analong and Digital circuits using CAD for Dielectric Isolation Fabrication for various government programs. RCA was bought by Harris Semiconductors who Mr. Leidich continued to work for in the Somerville location until retiring in 1999. He was also a member of the I.E.E.E. and held 25 issued patents to his name.
An active outdoorsman who enjoyed fly fishing and shadow casting in particular, he spent many years fishing the rivers and streams of NJ and NY. Additionally, Mr. Leidich was a railroader with an extensive collection of model trains and spent many years designing and building his own model train layout. A member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church, Flemington, NJ, he formerly served as an elder and deacon.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Judith Sartore Leidich; two daughters, Deborah Hackett of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, and Lisa Leidich of Flemington, NJ; a son, David Leidich of Langhorne, PA; and three grandchildren, Jacqueline Hackett, Gavyn Leidich and Skylyr Leidich.
