READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - Helen Garbus Susalis, age 89 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Linden, NJ, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Hrimezila Garbus, she had resided in Readington Township since 1954 after having grown up in the Linden area.
A homemaker, she also owned and operated View Acres Farm Stand on Route 523 in Readington Township along with her husband of over sixty years, Nicholas Susalis, Sr.
Nicholas died in 2005. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was pre-deceased by five siblings, Adolf, Stella, Walter and Eddie Garbus and Frances Slovik.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas, Jr. and Diane Susalis of Readington Township, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Norman Miller, of Raritan Township, NJ; and a grandson, Bryan Miller, of Raritan Township, NJ.
Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Private Funeral Services and Interment

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - MaryAnn Johnson, age 74 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Hackensack, NJ, August 15, 1938, daughter of the late Rudolph and JoAnna Ostrowski, she had lived in Readington since 1973, having formerly resided in Flemington and Long Branch, NJ.
A member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Flemington Elks Lodge, the Flemington American Legion Post and the Flemington V.F.W., she had formerly been employed by Hoechst-Celanese, Bridgewater, NJ in their Customer Service department. Additionally she was a Hostess and Bartender for many years at the Flemington American Legion and the Flemington V.F.W.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-two years, Gordon Kenneth Johnson, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Carl Ondrak of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon K. Johnson, Jr. and Linda Johnson of Raritan Township, NJ and Erik R. and Valerie Johnson of Neshanic Station, NJ; and two grandchildren, Jessie and Wyatt Ondrak of Raritan Township, NJ.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 from Noon-2:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. followed by a luncheon at the Flemington Elks Lodge, Route 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment

Anthony Z. Miller
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Anthony Z. Miller, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at his home.
Born in Poland, January 6, 1934, son of the late Felix and Helen Kuryluk Miller, he had resided in Raritan Township for fifty-two years and had formerly resided in Perth Amboy, NJ.
Tony was a graduate of Rutgers University and was first employed as a production engineer for twenty years by RCA, Bridgewater, NJ and later was a member of the Technical Staff at the David Sarnoff Research Center, Princeton, NJ.
He served in the US Army 1956-1958 where he was a member of the Seventh Army Symphony Orchestra and toured Europe with the orchestra at which time he met his wife.
An accomplished violinist, violist and classical guitarist, he was a violinist with the Plainfield Symphony Orchestra. Tony was also a member of the American Chemical Society; an avid gardener and woodworker and loved animals and nature. Tony enjoyed flying and had his commercial license, private license and instructor's license. He was as member of the Blue Sky Club at Solberg Airport, Readington Township, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-three years, Gertrud "Trudy" Schmid Miller; a daughter, Ingrid G. Miller of Boulder, CO; and a sister, Gizela Bukowski of Woodbridge, NJ.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 1, 2013, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Evelyn Marie Camon
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Evelyn Marie "Grandma Marie" Camon, age 79 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Monday, January 28, 2013, in Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township.
Born in Flemington, NJ, May 26, 1933, daughter of the late Leo and Florence Peterson Reasoner, she was a lifelong Flemington area resident and was retired from Tirpok Cleaners, Flemington, NJ.
Marie attended Flemington High School, was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church and was Clan Mother of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania.
Her husband, Harry Camon, died in 1966. Surviving are five sisters, Edith Noakes and her husband, William, of Willingboro, NJ, Helen R. Joell of Philadelphia, PA, Florence Anne Frazier and her husband, Charles, of Abington, PA, Judith Dowdy and her husband, James, of Maple Shade, NJ and Barbara Blossom and her husband, Roland, of Daytona Beach, FL.; two brothers, Chester Reasoner and his wife, Brenda, of Lambertville, NJ and Richard Reasoner and his wife, Lucille, of Philadelphia, PA. Also surviving are two step-children, Alfonso Camon of Piscataway, NJ and Nona Rea Ashes of Easton, PA; her best friend, Cinnamon Alwin of Raritan Township, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 11:00 AM in the Flemington United Methodist Church, Main Street and Maple Avenue, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday 6:00-8:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Kenneth Alliston
PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - Kenneth Alliston, age 66 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, August 28, 1946, son of the late Franklin and Phyllis Diadone Alliston, he was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and was an artist.
Surviving is a son, Colin Alliston of Decatur, GA.

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Angela Marie Taranto, age 77 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, February 1, 2013, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Queens, NY, June 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Jacovino Annona.
She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ; a former member and past president of the Hunterdon Central Board of Education; a member of the Italian American Club; and volunteer and coordinator of the Senior Luncheon.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Frank Taranto; son and daughter-in-law, Frank Joseph and Mary Jean Taranto of Fairlfield, NJ; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Marie Giles-Gross and Perry Gross of Raritan Township, NJ; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Kelly Simerson Taranto of Bozeman, MT; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Marianne Taranto of Ringoes, NJ; a brother, Joseph Annona of New York; a sister, Rose LaSalo in Florida; eleven grandchildren: Daniel Philip Giles, Mathew David Giles, Frank Joseph Taranto III, Tiffany Marie Giles, Michael Henri Taranto, Nicole Danielle Taranto, Elizabeth Kate Taranto, Kyle Timothy Taranto, Matthew Gregorio Taranto, Thomas Michael Taranto, and Randi Faith Taranto; her three great-grandchildren: Kathryn Melissa Giles, William Daniel Giles, and Madelyn Marie Giles; three step-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be private on Tuesday followed by entombment in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Public visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ - Mary M. Sabor, age 56 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at her home.
Born in Holland MI., July 30, 1956, she had resided in Alexandria Township since 1986. A homemaker, she was also formerly an Emergency Medical Technician and Medical Assistant.
Her father, John Stephens, pre-deceased her.
Surviving are her husband of twenty-two years, William N. Sabor; two sons, William M. "Max" Sabor, a student at Harvard University, and Lucas O., "Luke" Sabor, a student at Tufts University; her mother, Marjorie Voss of Alexandria Township, NJ; and a sister, Phyllis Bruggers of Holland, MI.
