RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Marie Stawski, age 79 years, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, July 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Helen Janusz Houjak.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Malave of Readington Township, NJ, and Joann Reichard of Altamonte Springs, FL; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Jerome P. Sparich
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Jerome P. Sparich, age 48 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Somerville, NJ, January 2, 1965, he was the son of Irene Swierblewski Sparich of Raritan Township, NJ and the late Jerome J. Sparich.
Jerome was a 1983 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ and a graduate of Somerset County VoTech. He was a small engine repair technician with Baldwin Unlimited, Pennington, NJ. He was a member of the Viper Club of America.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Christine Sparich, of Flemington, NJ; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Sparich of Jim Thorpe, PA; his fiance, Sharon McNeil, of Hillsborough, NJ; and his nephew and nieces, Steven, Marisa, and Kaitlyn.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Evelyn Rose Savino
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Evelyn Rose Savino, age 85 years, of Lawrenceville, NJ, died on Monday, March 4, 2013, in St. Joseph's Morris Hall, Lawrenceville, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, July 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy McMahon Spizzirro.
Evelyn attended All Saints Grammar School in Lafayette and graduated from Dickenson High School. She went on to college to study law at the John Marshall Law School, Jersey City, NJ.
Evelyn married
Nunzio Savino on May 6, 1950. They grew up down the street from each other and after they married, they lived around the corner from where they grew up and began their family.
Evelyn taught kindergarten at All Saints School for seven years. Evelyn was involved with the Rosary Society at All Saints Church and often helped organize their card parties. She was an avid bowler and a die-hard bingo fan. The family moved to Piscataway, NJ in 1968 where they lived until 1980. Nunzio and Evelyn headed to Las Vegas, NV in 1980 where they enjoyed eight years of retirement there.
Nunzio passed away in 1987, and Evelyn returned to New Jersey in 2005 and had resided in Lawrenceville since 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Chapman of Lake Worth, FL and Jane Blades and her husband, Brian, of Raritan Township, NJ; a brother, Richard Spizzirro of Lakeland, FL; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Spizzirro of Lyndhurst, NJ; two grandchildren: Adam and Erik Blades; many nieces and nephews as well as a grandniece, Tia Spizzirro.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Robert E. Hoffmann
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ - Robert E. Hoffmann, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Bridgewater, NJ, died on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.
Born in Hessental, Germany, March 1, 1924, he was the son of the late Friedrich and Rosa Roth Hoffmann.
His wife of sixty years, Erna Hoffman, died in 2012. He was also pre-deceased by his eleven siblings.
Surviving are his three daughters, Ami Sylvester of Wall, NJ, Christina Salerno, and her husband, Dr. Felix Salerno, of Flemington, NJ, and Ingrid Hoffmann of Matawan, NJ; and one grandson, Michael Sylvester.
A Memorial Service will be announced under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment
will be private.
Peter Louis Gorel
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Peter Louis Gorel, age 60 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at his residence.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, December 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward and Rose Cardinal Gorel. He was a printer and had formerly resided in Bernardsville, NJ.
Surviving are two brothers, James Gorel of Piscataway, NJ, and Ronald Gorel of Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM in Somerset Hills Memorial Park Chapel, Basking Ridge, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Inurnment will be in the Somerset Hills Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours.

William V. Kaczetow
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - William V. Kaczetow, age 61 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 28, 2013, in the VA Medical Center, Lyons, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, April 9, 1951, he was the son of Margaret Vetere Kaczetow of Long Island, NY and the late Victor Kaczetow.
He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his father, he was also pre-deceased by a brother, Gary Kaczetow. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Kaczetow and Nicholas Naturile of Flemington, NJ, and Tina Kaczetow and Lenny Fajardo of Edison, NJ; two sisters, Kathleen Loverso of Phillipsburg, NJ and Patricia Davis in Florida; a brother, Victor Kaczetow of Long Island, NY; and two grandchildren: Brandon and Emma Fajardo.
Private burial services will be held in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM Monday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
