Zerbe, Dawn C. (Ciancia) age 46 of Wayne on Friday, March 30, 2007 in Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dawn Zerbe lived in West Milford (1989-2002) prior to moving to Wayne. She was the daughter of Frank A. Ciancia and Gloria Vivo Ciancia. She loved to work with silk flower arrangements. Dawn is survived by a daughter Erica A. Zerbe and her former husband and close friend Bob Zerbe of West Milford and a brother Tom Ciancia of Vero Beach, Fl.. Funeral liturgy 11:30AM Tuesday (4/3) at St.Joseph’s Church, West Milford. Kane, Daniel H., age 57, beloved husband of Patricia (Hurley) of West Milford, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009, with his loving family by his side. Born in Franklin, NJ to Howard (d.1986) and Alfreda (Beardslee), he was a lifelong resident of West Milford. Graduating from Frostburg State University with his B.S., he later attained his Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Retiring in 2008, Danny was a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Macopin Middle School, in West Milford for 35 years, where he also coached baseball, soccer and wrestling. He was president of the Greater Morris County Coaches Association, and a founding father of West Milford Township Junior Wrestling program. Danny was very instrumental in the Pinecliff Lake Community Club where he was a counselor, sports trustee and co-president of the Men’s Club. He also enjoyed his reign as President of the Notre Dame Club; West Milford Chapter. He is survived by a son Daniel P.; two daughters, Tricia L. and Kathleen S. of West Milford; a brother Edward of Jefferson; two sisters, Jeanette Belcastro of Stockholm and Ellen Chesney of Kearny. He was loved by all of his nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday 10:30AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hewitt where Danny was an active member. Hansen, Robert H. beloved husband of Cecilia E. (Brennan) on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Born in Jersey City the son of Harold J. and Marie (Shanley) he lived in Little Ferry coming to West Milford 30 years ago. Mr. Hansen was an accountant at Crum & Foster in Morristown for over 25 years. A P.A.L. past president and volunteer for over 25 years, he was actively involved with and participated in the construction of the P.A.L. building; giving 1000’s of hours of volunteering. Along with his wife he is survived by his sons Brian R. Hansen and his companion Samantha Finley and Jeffrey M. Hansen and his wife Amy, sisters Diane Johnson and husband Roland, Joanne Grady and husband Michael and several loving nieces and nephews. His parents and brothers David and Daniel predeceased him. Storms, Bernard "Ben" "Uncle Ben", age 86, of Haskell, died suddenly after a series of health problems, on Friday, September 14, 2007, in Warsaw, NY, with loving family at his side. Ben was the last surviving member of his original generation of Stormses. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Phyllis; eldest daughter and caregiver, Saundra "Sandi" (James d. 2003) Putnam; two sons, Stephen (Lee) of Warsaw, NY, and Jeffrey (Michele) of Caldwell, ID; and youngest daughter, Stacy (Christopher) Dorland of Rochester, NY. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law (Olga, Gertrude, and June [Hudson]), numerous nieces and nephews, and other relations and friends. Ben was born in Wanaque Borough, and lived there most of his life in the Midvale and Haskell sections. In later years, he lived in Bloomingdale and then West Milford. His last 5 years were spent with his children and their families in western New York. Ben was a veteran of WWII, flying 29 missions over the English Channel as a waist gunner in the Army Air Corps. He loved to reminisce and tell his war tales. After the war, Ben worked nights for several years at E.I. DuPont in Kearney. For the next almost 50 years, his days were spent working with family in his eldest brother Morgan’s business. Loyal customers of Wanaque Supply will remember "Uncle Ben" and his pipe from the hardware department. In his earlier years, Ben loved helping others any way he could. He also was a young marble champion, star baseball pitcher, pool hall aficionado, card shark, and amateur gardener. In his later years, Ben enjoyed being the undisputed Domino Champion of the family. In the end, "his heart could not handle all his heart could hold." Funeral service 11AM Thursday at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Interment

Stugard, Genevieve (Sprunkel), 93, of Hewitt passed away Friday October 19, 2007. Mother of Walter and Robert Stugard. Grandmother of twelve, Great-Grandmother of three. Thompson, Lena J. (Jacobia) "Midge", age 79, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Wanaque. She was the daughter of Mable (Vreeland) and Henry Jacobia, she resided there before moving to Hewitt seven years ago. She was retired from the former N.J. Bell Telephone in Riverdale where she worked as a telephone operator. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Roland Thompson Jr. of Queensbury, NY; two daughters, Karen Saxon of Paterson and Cheryl Woch of Hewitt; one sister, Emma Jane Malmstone of Ringwood and two grandchildren. Vanker, Helen R. (Wright), age 52, a retail clerk for B. J.'s Wholesale Club, Riverdale, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Wanaque, NJ. Mrs. Vanker lived in West Milford for 28 years and was previously from Butler. She is survived by her husband Paul, two daughters Heather Vanker of Parsippany, NJ and Nicole Vanker of West Milford, NJ and a grandson Alexander. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Rabbit) Wright. Funeral services will be held Monday (March 19) 10 AM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Rev. Velebir, Craig R., age 23, a construction worker, died Thursday, February 8, 2007. He was a 2001 graduate of West Milford High School. Mr. Velebir was a lifelong resident of West Milford. He is survived by his father, Robert Velebir of West Milford; his mother, Candace (Halma) Link and stepfather John Link of Hewitt; a brother, Steven Velebir of Lincoln Park, NJ; paternal grandfather, Stephen Velebir of Wayne, NJ; maternal grandmother Anne Halma of Wyckoff, NJ; a nephew "Stevie" Velebir; also survived by several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Wedemeier lived in Pompton Lakes, NJ for 20 years and was previously from Vernon. She was the daughter of Ernest and Susan Jelden. Willmott, Frederick W., 89, a retired bank officer for Manufactures Hanover Bank, NYC, on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Born in Weehawken to the late William and Barbara (Lachenauer) he lived in Union City before moving to West Milford 33 years ago. Mr. Willmott was a World War II Army veteran, attaining the rank of T-5 and a member of the West Milford American Legion. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Donald), a daughter-in-law, Karen Willmott, a sister, Barbara Barrett, a granddaughter, Denise Masanko and two great grandchildren, Alexei and Zander Masanko. He was predeceased by a son Fred, a grandson Richard Willmott and a great grandson Dominick Masanko. Funeral services Monday, 11 AM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford.
