He is survived by his wife Susan (Bergmann) and Kelly Sue Schechter (Daughter) of West Milford, NJ. He was preceded in death by Michael Vaughn Schechter (Son) in 3/7/2002. Mrs. Stokem lived in Wanaque, NJ since 1959 and was previously from Ringwood. Evelyn W. Stevenson, 87, a retired supervisor for NJ Bell Telephone, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 Wayne View Nursing Center, Wayne, New Jersey. Mrs. Stevenson was a member of the Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Lakes and N.J. Telephone Pioneers of America. She lived in Pompton Plains for 6 years and was previously from Pompton Lakes. She is survived by four cousins, Janet LaBadia, Glenda Wagner, William Jackson, and Carol Pagan. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, and a brother, Edwin Whittle, Jr. She was born November 14, 1916 in Milton, New Jersey the daughter of Edwin and Minnie (Pulis) Whittle. Sievers, Arthur F., 97, a tool & dye maker for Gries Reproduction, Westchester, NY retiring in 1972, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at Milford Manor Nursing Home in West Milford, NJ. He was a member of West Milford Senior citizens. He worked on Norden Bomb Site, NYC during WW II. Mr. Sievers lived in Hewitt, NJ for 61 years and was previously from Bronx, NY, coming to the USA in 1926. He is survived by his wife Wilma (Fischer), Arthur A. Sievers (Son) and his wife Dorothy of Ringwood, N.J., Diane Cunz (Granddaughter), her husband John and Arthur E. Sievers (grandson). He was born January 08, 1907 in Germany, the son of Heinrich and Maria (Schweim) Sievers. All services are private. Smith, William H., 75, a Self-employed tv repairman, died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock. He was a member of the Pompton Plains American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans- Pompton Lakes. Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident of Pompton Plains He is survived by his wife Betty (Hearle), and two daughters, Sandra Gusta of Haskell, and Phyllis Johnson of Kinnelon. Survived by six grandchildren. He was born October 23, 1928 in Paterson, New Jersey the son of Edwin and Minnie (Tears) Smith. He served in the USArmy, from 1952 to 1953. Stella, Margaret V. (Smith) age 81, of West Milford died on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. Born in Queens, NY she moved to West Milford 45 years ago. She was a member of Queen of Peace Rosary Society and served 20 years on the West Milford First Aid Squad. Survived by her husband Vincent and one daughter Lorraine Edwards of Long Valley, NJ, one son Kenneth of Manhattan, NY and one sister Jane Schick of Pittsburgh, PA. Schweighardt, Andrew F. age 83 on Saturday, October 30, 2004. Born in Passaic, he was a resident of Pompton Lakes for 51 years. A retired electrician, he was employed by Kearfott of Little Falls for 25 years. Mr. Schweighardt was a member of St. Mary’s Seniors and served in World War II in the Army and was member of VFW Post 2906 of Pompton Lakes. He is survived by his wife, the former Ermelinda (Collodel) Schweighardt, 2 sons, Andrew of Washington Township and David of Pompton Lakes, one daughter, Linda Stern of Pompton Lakes, one brother Martin of Albuquerque, NM. Two grandchildren also survive. Mr. Schweighardt was the son of Frank and Hermina (Schweighardt) Schweighardt. Sadd, Margaret Theresa (Snee), age 93, of West Milford died Thursday November 25, 2004 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital in Wayne, N.J. Born in Ireland, she came to the United States in 1926. She resided in West Milford for the past 51 years and was previously from New York City. She was a homemaker, and a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Migdalski of Fairview, N.J; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary (Garvey) Snee, and her husband Elmer Oliver Sadd in 1993.
