Summerell, Allen B. age 79 died Fri. Jan. 14, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock. Born in Euclid, Ohio, he lived in Irvington, NJ before moving to POMPTON LAKES 53 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. He was the Shipping and Receiving Manager for Bradlees Dept. store, Wayne before retiring. He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors (Navy Veterans); Member and Past President of the Pompton Lakes Golden Age Club, and a charter member of the Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad. He is survived by his wife Mildred (Cort), a son Grieg Summerell of Dingmans Ferry, PA. 2 grandchildren Laurie O’Connell and Christopher Summerell both of Dingmans Ferrry, PA; and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services Monday January 17, 2005 at 8:30 P.M. at Richards Funeral Home 4 Newark-Pompton Tpke; Riverdale. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. Private cremation. Claire E. Scott (Spreen) age 77, a homemaker, died Friday, January 21, 2005 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock, New Jersey. Mrs. Scott lived in Riverdale for 2 Years and was previously from Ringwood. She was born February 14, 1927 in New York City the daughter of Frederick and Margaret (Donohue) Spreen. Helen T. Seeley, (Sinclair), 79, a retired legal secretary for Podesta Myers & Crammond, Bloomingdale died Wednesday, February 02, 2005 at St. Clares Hospital- Denville. Mrs Seeley was a Past President of the Riverdale Seniors, a member of Lake Hiawatha Seniors and the Parsippany Elks Ladies Aux. Mrs. Seeley lived in Lake Hiawatha for 8 years and was previously from Riverdale. She is survived by her husband Donald, a daughter Karan Seeley of Lake Hiawatha, and a nephew, Daniel Sinclair. She was born April 09, 1925 in Haledon, the daughter of Thomas and Anne (Millett) Sinclair. She lived in West Milford before moving to Great Meadows, NJ 3 years ago. Santimauro, Frank X., 79, a retired police detective for N.Y.P.D. and also retired from the NY State Commission of Investigation, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Hospice of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Mr. Santimauro has lived in West Milford, NJ since 1972 and was previously from Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his wife Rose of Hewitt, Maria Algozzini (Daughter) of Hewitt, NJ, John Santimauro (Brother) of Matawan, NJ, Madelyn Pascocello (Sister) of Marlton, NJ, Marsi Algozzini (Granddaughter), Chrisi Algozzini (Granddaughter), Many nieces & nephews, Many Great nieces & nephews. He was born February 14, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Michael and Mabel (Kelly) Santimauro. He served in the Air Force during World War II having attained the rank of PVT. enlisted on July 14, 1943 discharged on May 13, 1947. George E. Strother Jr. of Pompton Lakes died February 19, 2005 at the Dwelling Place at St. Clare’s Hospital/Dover. He was 89. Born on February 27, 1915 in Toledo, OH, he was the youngest of four children. When he was six moths old, his family moved to Vineland, NJ where he lived for 40 years prior to moving to Pompton Lakes, NJ. A graduate of Vineland High School in 1934, he began his career with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1940 as an agent. In 1955, he was promoted to District Manager moving to Pompton Lakes where he has resided for the past 50 years. At age 54, he graduated from the American College with a Charter Life Underwriter Degree. After 32 years with MetLife, he retired in 1972. Following his retirement, he pursued his second career with the First National Bank of Passaic County (now Wachovia Bank) in Wayne, NJ. He retired from the West Milford branch as a loan officer after six years. He is a member of the MetLife Veterans Association/Field; Vineland Masonic Lodge # 69; served as a Vineland Volunteer Fireman in Pioneer Company; and was a member of the Vineland Historical Society. An avid fisherman, gardener, cherry picker, pie maker, baseball and softball fan, his greatest pleasures were in watching and participating in the many of activities of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Laura (Lawrence) Strother; two sons, George III and his wife Patricia of Denville, Larry and his wife, Joan of Newfoundland, one daughter, Diane Rowen and her husband, George of Oakridge; 12 grandchildren, George Strother IV of Denville, Wendy Perrault of Rockaway, Amy Gray of Old Bridge, Philip Strother of Center Sandwich, NH, Jeff Rowen of Glenwood, Jennifer Hark of Augusta, George Rowen Jr. of Franklin, Christopher Rowen of Oakridge, Lindsay, Brandon, Brett and Chad Strother of Newfoundland, and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation and service will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ, on Tuesday, February 22 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Isabel Struble, 97, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at St. Josephs Wayne Hospital. Mrs. Struble was a member of the Pompton Lakes Goldenagers. Mrs. Struble was born in Butler and has lived in Pompton Lakes since 1940. She is survived by her son Walter J. Struble of Pompton Lakes, and a daughter, Jeanette Loughery of Sussex. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, (1990). She was born March 07, 1908 in Butler, the daughter of David and Frances (Howard) Shepard. Mr. Schubert lived in West Milford since 1984 and was previously from Parsippany. Service test of F3H McDonell Aircraft-St Louis, Supervisor of four field engineers at this location. He was an ultra light pilot in NY State. Sisco, Doris L. (Seleski) age 82 died on Monday, March 28, 2005 at Wanaque Care Center, Wanaque, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on 11/17/1922, lived in Pine Island, NY before moving to West Milford, NJ 50 years ago. Mrs. Sisco had been a waitress at Oakland Diner in Warwick, NY. She is survived by 3 sons: David A, Daniel R and Matthew L. Sisco all of Hewitt. 2 Daughters: Donna C VanDunk of Hewitt and Shirley E.
