Tibbals, Cyrus F. III, age 88, of West Milford died on Saturday, September 17, 2004 at the Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock, NJ. He was a self-employed/owner of Oil Filter Specialty of Mahwah, NJ for 30 years as a supplier/distributor of truck engine parts. Mr. Tabbals was a member and former President of the Monroe Golf Club of Monroe, NY and former member and President of the Mahwah, NJ School Board and was instrumental in the renovations of schools and the building of the high school. He was also a veteran serving in the US Army. Mr. Tibbals is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Feakes, a son, Cyrus "Rus" IV of Sandston, VA, one daughter, Virginia Monteforde of Westbury, NY, a stepson, Peter Bremy of West Milford, one sister, Cara Woolley of Whiting, NJ and 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Theodore and a sister, Elizabeth Smallman. Visiting hours will be at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Monday, September 20 from 2 to 4 PM. Cremation will be private. Donations may be made to the West Milford Animal Shelter, West Milford, NJ.

William H. Tempelmann, 74, a turbine mechanic for General Electric, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock, New Jersey. Mr. Tempelmann lived in Pompton Lakes, for 4 years and was previously from Bergenfield. He is survived by his wife Ingrid (Boreck), Bernd Tempelmann (Son) of Richboro, PA, Connie Tempelmann (Daughter) of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Siegfried Tempelmann (Brother) of Germany, Hannelore Tempelmann (Sister) of Germany, William Michael Tempelmann (Grandson), Kyle Mason (Grandson), Karen Tempelmann (Daughter-in-law) of Richboro, PA. He was born May 07, 1930 in Bremerhaven, Germany the son of Karl and Franciska (Meier) Tempelmann. Visitation will be held at Richards Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. at Richards Funeral Home. Fr. Bill Scully of St. Marys RC Church will be officiating. Intermet George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

Troll, Joseph F., 57, a self-employed marine mechanic, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at his home in West Milford, NJ. Mr. Troll was a member of American Legion Frank M. Sell Post 289 of West Milford. He lived in West Milford, NJ for 44 yrs. and was previously from Hawthorne. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Kus), Joseph P. Troll (Son) of West Milford, NJ, Lawrence N. Troll (Son) of West Milford, NJ, Charles J. Troll (Brother) of Hawthorne, NJ, William C. Standish, Jr. (Brother) of West Milford, NJ, William C. Standish, Sr. (Step-Father) of Port Charlotte, FL. He was born July 11, 1947 in Paterson, NJ. He served in the Army during Vietnam War having attained the rank of SP 4 and discharged on July 1, 1973. Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 21, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford. Rev. Fr. Sigmund Peplowski will be officiating. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to W. Milford Animal Shelter, PO Box 72, W. Milford, NJ 07480 would be appreciated. Arrangements by the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.

Trecartin, Marie (Parise), 77, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Township, NJ. Mrs. Trecartin lived in Haskell, NJ for 1 1/2 yrs and was previously from Oak Ridge & Paramus. She is survived by Patricia Competielle (Daughter) of Oak Ridge, NJ, Joanne Martinez (Daughter) of Saddle Brook, NJ, Tina Smith (Daughter) of Franklin, NJ, 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John. She was born March 13, 1927 in New Haven, Connecticut the daughter of Pasquale and Lillian (Carlino) Parise. Private Memorial Service was held Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. Rev. Fr. Sigmund Peplowski of St. Joseph's Church officiated. Cremation was private.

Thunell, John J. Jr., 61, a self-employed plumber, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Township, NJ. He was a member of The West Milford American Legion. Mr. Thunell, Jr. lived in West Milford, NJ most of his life. He is survived by his wife Anna (Behrens), Lisa Thunell (Daughter) of Butler, NJ, Deborah Kennedy (Daughter) of Butler, NJ, Robert Thunell (Brother) of Smithville, NJ, Carl Thunell (Brother) of IL, Rodger Thunell (Brother) of Bloomingdale, NJ. He was born September 12, 1943 in Newark, NJ the son of John and Margaret (Nilan) Thunell. He served in the Air Force enlisted on February 21, 1964 at Newark, NJ discharged on May 13, 1964. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford on Saturday (2/19) from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service and cremation are private. In lieu of flowers donations to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1 Kalisa Way, Suite 205, Paramus, NJ 07652 would be appreciated.

Van Orden, Chad F., 27, an equipment operator for Sam Braen Construction, Haledon, died Sunday, November 7, 2004 at St Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, NY. Mr. Van Orden lived in Greenwood Lake, NY for 5 years and was previously from Hewitt, NJ. He is survived by his wife Angela (Bisone), his father, Gary A. Van Orden, his mother, Kathy (Garrison) Van Orden, Garrett Van Orden (Son) of Hewitt, NJ, Danielle Van Orden (Daughter) of Hewitt, NJ, Kori Van Orden (Sister) of Hewitt, NJ. He was born January 15, 1977 in Pequannock Township, NJ. Visiting hours at the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford on Wednesday (11/10) from 6-9pm. Private Cremation.

Visser, William T. Sr., age 83, died on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Kindred Hospital, Dover, NJ. Born in Riverdale, he previously lived in Pompton Lakes before moving to Boonton 3 years ago. His was employed as a foreman for E. I. Dupont in Pompton Lakes for many years and was a Army veteran. Mr. Visser was a 25 year veteran of the Pompton Lakes Fire Dept. Mr. Visser is survived by eight sons, William T. Jr. of West Milford, Darrin L., of Pompton Lakes, Greg of Lincoln Park, Chris of Haledon, Kurt of Lexington, SC, Neil of Pompton Lakes, John D. of Newton, Charlie of NY and two daughters, Lorraine Harriet and Bonnie Visser both of Pompton Lakes, three sisters, Alida Brockland of FL, Josephine Cooper of TN, and Alta Rodgers of Bloomingdale, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his wife the former Mary Redner, and a brother Michael James Visser.

Van Riper, John "Jack" R., 61, a plumber for Plumber's Local 14, Lodi, NJ, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock Township, NJ. He was a member of Marine Corps League and Audibon Society. Mr. Van Riper lived in Hewitt, NJ for 25 yrs. and was previously from Paterson. He is survived by his wife Yolanda, Abel Van Riper (Son) of Hewitt, NJ, Charles Sifontes (Son) of Orlando, FL, Rosemary Heller (Sister) of Monroe, NY, Marilyn Watt (Sister) of Oakland, NJ, Carol Lembo (Sister) of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Margaret Grofsik (Sister) of West Milford, NJ, 3 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Van Riper, Sr, and his mother, Mary Mc Tighe. He was born January 26, 1943 in Paterson, NJ the son of John and Mary (Mc Tighe) Van Riper, Sr. He served in the Marines during Vietnam Era having attained the rank of Cpl. enlisted on January 30, 1960 discharged on January 29, 1966. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, West Milford on Wednesday (1/26) from 2-4 & 7-8:30PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 8:30 P.M. at Richards Funeral Home, West Milford. Deacon Harry White of St. Joseph's Church will be officiating. Katherine A. Van Ness, (Rhinesmith) 88, a retired owner & operator for Van Ness Farms, Wanaque, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Haskell. She was a member of the Midvale Methodist Church. Mrs. Van Ness was a lifelong resident of Wanaque. She is survived by her brother Alfred Rhinesmith of Nebraska, her son-in-law Douglas and Carla Groendyke of Bloomingdale. Three grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin, (1998) and a daughter Cathy Groendyke. She was born April 24, 1916 in Wanaque, New Jersey the daughter of Chester and Bessie (Williams) Rhinesmith. Visitation will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Richards Funeral Home. Rev. Donald DeGroat will be officiating. Burial will be in the Whitehall Methodist Church cemetery in Towaco.

Deborah L. Van Dunk (De Groat) age 56 died Thursday March 24, 2005 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains. Born in Ringwood, she resided in West Milford most of her life. She was an electronics technician for Empire Electronics in Paterson before retiring. She is survived by her husband Raymond of West Milford, two children Roxanne Van Dunk of West Milford and Christopher Van Dunk of New York City, her mother Josephine De Groat of West Milford, three brothers Michael Boddy, William Jose De Groat and Eric De Groat all of West Milford, six sisters Lynette De Lazier of North Carolina, Joanne Schaefer of Warwick, NY; Barbara Van Dunk of Bloomingburg, NY; Robin De Groat of Middletown, N.Y; Erica De Groat of Paterson, and Stacey De Groat of West Milford. Funeral services will be held Monday March 28, 2005 at 12 Noon at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Rd. West Milford. Interment will follow at Mt. Holiness Cemetery, Butler. Visiting hours Monday 10-12 Noon.

Van Dunk, Glenda E. (Van Dunk), age 64, of Ringwood died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at St. Clares Hospital, Dover. Born in Tallman, NY, She lived all her life in Ringwood, NJ. She was a homemaker. Survived by her husband Kenneth; 2 sons, Kenneth J. and Andrew Van Dunk both of Ringwood; her daughter Diedre Van Dunk of Ringwood; 2 brothers, Robert Van Dunk of Hillburn, NY and Aaron Milligan of Ringwood; 2 sisters, Sandra Van Dunk of Ringwood and Marie Van Dunk of Ellenville, NY; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visiting hours on Tuesday, April 5th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 8:30 PM. Funeral service on Tuesday, April 5th at 8:30 PM from the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford. Cremation private.
