Corrine E. Huch
Spring Lake resident Corrine E. Huch died on June 10 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 87 years old.
She was born in Kearny on Jan. 12, 1921. She had lived in Spring Lake for the last 60 years in the home her beloved husband built. Her greatest joys were her family, friends, and the natural beauty of the Jersey Shore. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Methodist Church, Spring Lake. Corrine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Paul A. Huch, the love of her life, as well as her brothers, William and Harry Partridge, and a sister, Dorothy Partridge.
Surviving are her four children, Paul and his wife Ann Marie, of Brick, William and his companion, Nancy Hyer, of New Gretna, Christopher and his wife Elizabeth, of Tuckerton, and Laurie, of Spring Lake. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Brian, of Queens, N.Y., Kimberly and her husband, Ross Bartosik, of Amesbury, Mass., Shane, of Atlanta, Ga., Beau, of Point Pleasant, and Christopher Jr. and Paul, of Tuckerton.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church, Spring Lake.

Edna F. Cuddy
Longtime Manasquan resident Edna F. Cuddy died in her sleep on June 10, in West Kingston, R.I.
She was 84 years old.
Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Andrew “Scotty” Fraser and Alice Fraser.
She was a stay at home mom until the children grew up, at which time she worked for Bristol Meyers Squibb Company, retiring in 1982.
She enjoyed bike riding, metal detecting and walking within the Manasquan community.
She was predeceased by her husband, George M. Cuddy, in 1999.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Krummell, of Maine; son, George A. and his wife, Penny, of West Kingston, R.I.; and four grandchildren, Kimberly Krummell, Gregory Krummell, Polly Cuddy, and George Cuddy.
Friends may call at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St., Manasquan, on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the funeral services at 11 a.m.
Interment will then follow in Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.
Gertrude M. Strong
Point Pleasant resident Gertrude M. Strong died on Saturday, June 7 at her residence. She leaves behind many loved ones, including family in Avon.
She was 94 years old.
Miss Strong was a school teacher for the Newark Board of Education where she taught for over 40 years. She was a graduate of the Newark Normal School and completed her student teaching in Gillette.
She was a lifelong resident of Newark until moving to Point Pleasant 35 years ago.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Madeline Jernick and Edith Strong; and her brother, Robert H. Strong Jr.
Ms. Strong is survived by her nephew, Robert Jernick, DDS, of Avon; her niece, Elizabeth Duffy, of Nutley; a sister-in-law, Joan Jernick, of Asbury Park; and many grand nieces and nephews.
Burial
was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange.

Henry E. Kordes III
Manasquan resident Henry E. Kordes III, Esq. died Tuesday, May 27 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
He was 77 years old.
He was a lawyer, with practices in Southern Monmouth County since 1965. He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the Ohio State University, and his law degree from Columbia Law School. He often said that he truly enjoyed his practice and the many clients he served over the years. His most recent professional affiliation was with Sinn, Fitzsimmons, Cantoli, West & Pardes, Point Pleasant Beach. Henry served a Judicial Clerkship in the Appellate Division and was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the Board of Bar Examiners for six years, serving as member and chairman. He was formerly the Borough Attorney in Brielle and Point Pleasant. He was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and was an active member and past president of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey, as well as the American, New Jersey, and Florida Bar Associations. He participated in several civic and charitable organizations, particularly Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he served on the Board of Governors and various committees. He was also a member of the Manasquan River Golf Club. Born in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y., he was raised in Freeport, Long Island, and had lived in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Royal Oak, Mich. before locating in New Jersey in 1959. After living in Brielle for many years, he moved to Four Seasons at Wall in 1997. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving in the Counter Intelligence Corps.
His first wife, MaryLu, predeceased him in 1995 after 42 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Saxenmeyer Otis; two sons, Mark, of Jersey City, and Michael, of Rahway; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Otis Musho and her husband Paul, of Westfield, and Gretchen Otis, of New York City; his two sisters, Dorothy Donnesen, of West Hampton Beach, N.Y., and Betty Samuels, of Chester, Pa.; and his darling step-grandson, Jack Musho, who was the joy of “Pop-Pop’s” life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28 at St. Mark’s R.C. Church, 215 Crescent Parkway, Sea Girt.
At Henry’s request, there will be no prior visitation. Committal will be private in Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan.

Lenore O’Connor
Spring Lake resident Lenore G. O’Connor died Monday, June 9 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was 65 years old.
Lenore had been employed as a sales representative at Leggs-Hanes-Bali, Wall Township. Born in Brooklyn, she graduated from St. Joseph’s High School, Brooklyn, N.Y. She had lived in Freehold for many years before moving to Spring Lake in 1986. She was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold.
She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Margaret Munroe Garbarini.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, John F. O’Connor; her beloved children and their spouses, John and Megan, of Metuchen, Timothy and Alice, of Freehold, Matthew, of Wall, Regina and John Majercak, of Wayne, Pa., and Margaret and Thomas McLean, of Spring Lake; her two sisters, Adele Bradley, of Brick, and Joyce Torrensen, of Massapequa Park, Long Island, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be held today, June 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Ave., Freehold. Burial
will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

Margaret Feeley
West Belmar section of Wall Township resident Margaret [Peggy] Paul Feeley died at the Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center of Wall Township on June 5.
She was 90 years old.
Born in Newark, she moved to Wall Township many years ago.
Mrs. Feeley was an active member of the St. Michael’s Episcopal Church of Wall Township.
Mrs. Feeley was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, John M. Feeley, in 1993.
She is survived by her son, Robert Feeley, of Wall Township; her grandson, Brent Feeley and his wife, Lauren; in addition to her great granddaughter, Madison Ava Bobbi Feeley, the joy of her last days.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church Allenwood Road, Wall Township.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Feeley may be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, c/o 3402 Woodfield Avenue, Wall Township, 07719.

Joseph W. Hanley
Sea Girt resident Joseph W. Hanley, CLU, died on Thursday, June 5, at home surrounded by his family.
He was 91 years old.
Born in Orange, Mr. Hanley lived there for 48 years and in Illinois for 15, before retiring to Sea Girt in 1980.
Mr. Hanley graduated from Seton Hall Prep in 1935 and Seton Hall University in 1940 as an English major. A First Lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard, Joe served during World War II on various naval transport ships.
Joe worked for The Equitable for 45 years and was elected to its Hall of Fame and selected as a National Honor Agent. He was an agency manager in Rockford, Ill., for eight years and for seven years in Chicago. For the three years prior to his retirement, The Hanley Agency in Chicago was the leading Equitable agency in the United States.
He was a member of the Rotary Club for 36 years, taught CCD for 10 years, and enjoyed tennis, golf, Seton Hall University basketball, and, in particular, Notre Dame football.
Above all he was a good guy and man of faith whose great joy was his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen, of 63 years and was the love of his life; and four sisters, Margaret Cannon, Mary Werner, Elizabeth Conway and Katherine Connell.
He and Ellen had seven children, William and Jane Hanley of Maplewood, Michael and Pamela, of Orlando, Fla., Joe and Rhonda, of Rockford, Ill., John and Donna, of Louisville, Ky., Jimmy and Michelle, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mary and George Davellis, of Spring Lake Heights, Kevin and Carol, of Sea Girt, and Moira Hanley, of Spring Lake Heights; 20 grandchildren, Joe, Mary, Michaela, Brian, Bob, Michael, Elizabeth, Mary, J, Jayne, Kelly, Kevin, Justine, Jill, Jennifer, Ellen, John, Tom, Kevin, Matt; 11 great-grandsons; and devoted care giver, Helina Stadiychor.
Interment was held in St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Wall.
