Michael Harris
Point Pleasant Beach resident Michael Francis Harris, formerly of Wall Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 24, at his residence.
He was 50 years old.
Michael had been employed as a general contractor with his business Glendola Recycling, Wall Township.
He was a communicant of St. Catharine’s RC Church, Spring Lake and was a longtime member of the Glendola Fire Company, Wall.
Born in Neptune, he had lived in Wall Township his entire life before moving to Point Pleasant Beach seven years ago.
He was predeceased by his brother, Patrick Harris, in 1963.
Surviving are his parents, Clarence and Francis Sweeney Harris, of Brick; his three daughters Amy, Alison and Dana Harris, at home; his former wife, Cynthia Harris; his brother, Clarence “Cliff” Harris, of Wall; and five sisters, Debra Oyler, of Bedford, Pa., Tara Harris, of Wall, Anna Wheeler, of Lanoka Harbor, Kathleen Fitzpatrick, of Monmouth Junction and Jacqueline Holmes, of York, Pa.; and his nieces nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, Highway 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Spring Lake.
Committal will be in St. Catharine’s Mausoleum, Wall at a later date.

Alice Cierpial
Belmar resident Alice Cierpial died on Dec. 23, at home.
She was 86 years old.
Born at home in Belmar, she remained a lifelong resident. A graduate of the Asbury Park High School, Mrs. Cierpial was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Belmar Volunteer Fire Department Hook and Ladder Company for over 50 years, where she served a term as president of the auxiliary.
A person who enjoyed life, she was an avid bowler with the Belmar Merchant Women’s Bowling League for 59 years, and the Tuesday Morning Social League at the Lanes of Sea Girt, for many years. She also enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased be her parents, Walter Veron and Catherine Brown Veron and her beloved husband, Louis, in 1979.
Surviving are her daughter, Louise Frey and her husband, Larry, of Belmar; two sisters, Edna Torchi and her husband, John, of Neptune and Helen Truex, of Belmar; two special grandchildren, Larry Frey and his wife, Mary Anne and Lori Frey-Harvey and her husband, Jamison.
Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 28, from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at noon with Chaplain Janet Freed presiding, at the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, 2652 Highway 138, Wall.
Interment will follow at St. Catharine Cemetery, of Wall.

Annamae Miklus
Belmar resident Annamae Miklus died on Sunday, Dec. 23 at Care One, in Wall Township.
She was 92 years old.
Born in Clifton, she has lived in Belmar for 21 years.
She worked as a travel agent for DeTone Travel in Clifton. She traveled the world.
At age 65, she earned a bachelor of science degree in social work from William Paterson College. She volunteered at Jersey Shore University Medical Center for 10 years and was a member and communicant at St. Rose Church, in Belmar.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Sr.
Surviving are her son, Edward A. Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Belmar; a daughter, Marlene M. Kroel, of Belmar; six grandchildren, Scott Kroel, Kathy Hewson, Christine Kroel, Suzanne Scarpa, Jennifer Hagofsky and Kristine Tynan; five great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Caleigh, Gianna and Nicole.
Interment was private.

Josephine Bacenas
Brielle resident Josephine K. Bacenas passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22 at Meridian Nursing and Rehab Center, in Brick.
She was 88 years old.
Born in Harrison, she lived in Kearny before moving to Brielle 28 years ago.
She was employed as an executive secretary for General Motors in Harrison and New York City for 31 years, retiring in 1981.
Mrs. Bacenas was a communicant of St. Denis Church, Manasquan and a former member of the Brielle Women’s Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward G., in 1990; her sister, Janet Coles; and her brother, Albert Kiel.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan B. Pucher and her husband, Lou, of Houston; her granddaughter, Kimberly Pucher, attending Smith College; her brother, Edward Kiel and his wife, Norma, of California, formerly of Westfield; her niece and her husband, Lou and Hans Beutleman; and a niece, Alice Kiel, of Brick.
Friends may call today from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Neary- Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St., Manasquan.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Visitation, Brick.
Interment will be private in St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Wall.

Angelina Hansen
Brielle resident Angelina [Mazzeo] Hansen passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, at Laurelton Village Care Center, Brick.
He was 74 years old.
Angelina was employed by the government as a clerk for the commissary of a Marine Military Base, which was located in Tustin, Calif. Angelina’s greatest love was food, music, Clay Aikens and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Angelina was born in the Philippines, and lived in California before moving to Brielle.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, which whom she lived with, Teresa and Michael Mazzeo, of Brielle; two daughters and two sons, Susan Severino, of Sacramento, Calif., Anna Cross, of Laguna Beach, Calif., Brian Hansen, of San Diego, Calif. and Gary Hansen, of Portland, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Orender Family Home For Funerals, Wall.
Services will be private.

William Nunnally
Neptune resident William L. Nunnally, formerly of Avon, died on Dec. 22 at the Imperial Care Center, Neptune.
Born and raised in Petersburg, Va., he moved to Avon in 1939 where he lived before moving to Neptune in 2003.
He was 94 years old.
Mr. Nunnally served in the Navy during World War II and following the war he remained as a career Navy Man serving for 20 years. Following his retirement from the Navy, Mr. Nunnally remained a member of the Naval Reserve, while he operated his home improvement business for 40 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, William Otis Nunnally and Lula Moore Nunnally.
He is survived by his four sons, William S. Nunnally, of Avon, J. Wayne Nunnally, of Costa Rica, James E. Nunnally, of Mantoloking and Robert Nunnally and his wife, Shari, of Coral Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Linda Brennan and her husband, Frank, of Acworth, Ga. and Victoria Wuchter and her husband, Timothy, of Neptune; two sisters, Ruth Laycock, of Leesburg, Va. and Mary Elizabeth Harrisson; grandchildren, William, Matthew, Jamie, James, Samantha and Marti Nunnally, Francis, Theodore, Greg and Alexis Brennan, Allison, Timothy, Brian, Eric, Caitlin, Lauren, Kerrin, Matthew and Amie Wuchter; and five great grandchildren, Krista, Carleigh, Summer, Elizabeth and Aidan.
Visitation will be held today at 7 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, 2652 Highway 138, Wall.
On Friday, interment services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Chapel at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, with military honors. Those attending the interment services are requested to meet in the parking lot of the funeral home at 12:45 p.m.
Procession will leave promptly at 1 p.m.

Timothy Reynolds
Old Bridge resident Timothy Wayne Reynolds, formerly of West New York, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday morning, Dec. 9, surrounded by his two children. He leaves behind many loved ones, including family in Manasquan.
He was 61 years old.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 38 years, Lucille [Celie] Reynolds.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Leigh Klein, and her husband, Don, of Tinton Falls; his son, Timothy Reynolds Jr. and his wife, Melissa; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Alexa and Katie, of New Providence; his mother, Elsie Reynolds, of Manasquan; his sister, Susan Miller, of Secaucus; and his brother, Richard Reynolds, of Teaneck.
He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed by everyone.
