John Joseph Reilly Sr.
John Joseph Reilly Sr., of Moorestown, with family in Wall Township, was a singular man, a quiet force and a constant presence. He carried himself with amazing dignity and grace and never lost sight of what mattered. His love of his family was boundless. John’s wife, Linda, son Jack, and daughter, Elsi comprised his world. His extraordinary character colored everything that he accomplished. As a young man he made a decision to strive toward enrollment in the United States Naval Academy. To that end he gathered the required signatures and brought his grades up.
At the Naval Academy his world expanded to include many dear friends who would impact his life as deeply as he impacted theirs. His dearest friends remain close and attended a Navy basketball game in January at Annapolis. John’s adventures in Hawaii, the Phillipines, Alaska and J-Actionville have become urban legend. His squads worked hard and played hard and in the process forged deep and lasting friendships.
John took his Naval Academy spirit and applied it to his new team at Pzifer. As a pharmacy representative he added levity and good spirits to every POA. As a district manager he inspired his reps to reach higher, build strong relationships and have fun. He created a team of individuals who were invested in winning not just for themselves but winning one for their role model - the quiet force, the constant presence.
John is survived by his much-loved wife Linda and their children Jack and Elisabeth; his mother Marilyn Lauber and stepfather Bernie Lauber of Wall Township; sister Sharon and Gerald Tobin, Gerry Jr., Katie and Joseph of Cranford; brother Joseph, Jennifer and Kelli of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother Brian and wife Joanne, and their children Brian Jr., Conor and Joanna in Spring Lake; brother Matt of Roseland, with wife Leslie and sons Kyle, Sean, and Michael; and sister Lynn and husband Taylor reside in Pepper Pike, Ohio, with Charlie, Cooper and Caitlin; brother Tom and Colleen live in Belmar, with Madigan, Shane and Keara; and brother Kevin lives in Keansburg.
