AUDREY FLOCK ORGO, 76, died March 29 at Old Bridge Manor, Old Bridge. She was born in Colts Neck, where she lived for most of her life. She was a lifelong member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church. She was a graduate of Red Bank High School; Georgian Court College, Lakewood; and the Katharine Gibbs School, New York. She is survived by her husband, Ernest T. of Newark; a son, Thomas II of Colts Neck; three daughters, Marlena Orgo of Newark, and Audrey Ahn and Cristina Wyatt, both of Colts Neck; two brothers, William R. Flock and C. Richard Flock, both of Colts Neck; and seven grandchildren.
JENI LEIGH PIERCE, 31, of Red Bank, formerly of Colts Neck, died March 21 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a graduate of Marlboro High School, where she sang in the choir. She continued her study of music at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft section of Middletown. She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Marc Pierce of Colts Neck; a sister and brother-in-law, Heather Pierce-Stigall and Stephen Stigall, of Devon, Pa.; her grandparents, Frances Vanderveer of Freehold, and Doris and Stanley Pierce of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and one niece and one nephew.
WILLIAM F. "BILL" COGAN JR., 87, of Red Bank died March 30 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident. He was retired from Exxon Corp., Linden, where he delivered petroleum products for more than 38 years. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. His hobbies included travel with his wife, his pets, and boating. He was predeceased by his wife, Josefina Mansilla Cogan, and a brother, Edward J. Cogan. He is survived by a sister, Marion E. Cogan of Little Silver; a sister-in-law, Anne L. Cogan of Glens Falls, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime caregiver, Irmin Phillip.
LINDAL I. "BROWNIE" BROWN, 69, of Oceanport died March 31 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Summer Shade, Ky., he resided in Long Branch for the past 15 years. He was the owner and founder of Brown’s Heating & Cooling, Shrewsbury. He was an elder for 20 years at the Monmouth Church of Christ, Tinton Falls. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Walbert. He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. Adams Brown of Oceanport; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry E. and Jeanne M. Brown of West Long Branch, and Douglas Brown; two daughters, Linda Fay Brown of Oceanport and Carolyn Elaine Brown of Brick; five brothers, Charles Brown, Bill Brown, David Brown, Jerry Brown and B.J. Brown; two sisters, Suzie Layne and Carol Rector; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Monmouth Church of Christ, followed by interment at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville section of Marlboro. MARK ROBERT CONNOR, 19, of Fair Haven died April 10 in Roanoke, Va. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Fair Haven. He was a sophomore at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Little Silver. He was a 2000 graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, Rumson. He is survived by his father, Robert Connor of Fair Haven; his mother Lyle McDowell Connor of Fair Haven; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Connor of Rumson; his maternal grandmother, Bernice McDowell of Red Bank; his sister, Lauren Connor of Fair Haven; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service was held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Little Silver. Interment

EILEEN DONOVAN CONNAIR, 81, of Red Bank died April 13 at home. Born in Bayonne, she lived there until moving to Monmouth County in 1954. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck, where she was very active on its religious and social committees. She was a graduate of Holy Family Academy, Bayonne. She was predeceased by her husband, Norbert Connair in 1984; a son, Kevin Connair in 1993; and a grandchild, Jasie Connair. She is survived by three daughters, Susan Connair of Monmouth Beach, Joanne Sica of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Mary Jane Dogherty of Fair Haven; three sons, Daniel Connair of Red Bank, Timothy Connair of Charlotte, N.C., and Sean Connair of Red Bank; three brothers, Raymond Donovan of Short Hills, James Donovan of Bridgewater, and Richard Donovan of Neptune City; three sisters, Joan O’Donnell of Wakefield, Mass., Maureen Donovan of Clearwater, Fla., and Helen Moran of Avon; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Resurrection was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck. WALTER GAUS, 86, of Rumson died April 14 at home. Born in Hoboken, he lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Rumson in 1981. He was a retired manager at H&R Block, Jersey City. Prior to that, he was employed by New Jersey Bell, and Union Towel Supply Co., both North Bergen. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member and commander for one term at the American Legion Beacon Post No. 419, Jersey City, and was a member of Local 827 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Catherine Mary Schwarz Gaus; five brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Judith A. and Lawrence Pullis of Rumson, and Sharon Oswald of Jersey City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Interment
was at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
ROLAND S. SCOTT, 88, of Keansburg died April 6 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in the Navesink section of Middletown, he resided in Red Bank and Little Silver before moving to Keansburg six years ago. He was a custodian at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, for several years. He was a member of the Shrewsbury Homesteaders senior citizens group. he was predeceased by his wife, Grace Greenwood Scott in 1995. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment
was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
CARL P. AMATO, 80 of the Lincroft section of Middletown died April 9 at home. Born in Red Bank, he lived in Tinton Falls and Little Silver prior to moving to Lincroft 20 years ago. He was an electronics engineer at the U.S. Army communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for 19 years, as well as a photography instructor at Fort Monmouth Signal School. He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. His hobbies included birdwatching, astronomy, photography and electronics. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion Acerra Amato. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Christina T. and Anthony Simone of Lincroft, Marion and Kevin Carroll of Jackson, and Phyllis and Elliot De Leon of Westfield, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. DONALD A. CHIRAFISI, 47, of Bradley Beach died April 9 at home. Born in New York City, he had lived in Manalapan for most of his life. He was a self-employed electrician in Bradley Beach. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Gabrielle; a daughter, Victoria Gabrielle, at home; his parents, Joan and Donald Chirafisi of Lakewood; three brothers, Richard of Orlando, Fla., Philip of Fort Lee and Douglas of Beverly Hills, Calif.; a sister, Deborah of Red Bank; his mother- and father-in-law, Christine and Gabriel Macusch of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and eight nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Manalapan. A trust fund has been established for his daughter, Victoria, and may be sent to Angela Liebl, 628 Waterford Drive, Edison 08817.
