WILLIAM J. MOSHER SR., 80, of Tinton Falls died Aug. 26, 2001 at home. Born in Hudson Falls, N.Y., he had lived in Lincroft and Shrewsbury before moving to Tinton Falls in 1965. Mr. Mosher was co-owner and founder of Red Bank Drapery Shop, Red Bank. He previously was a drapery buyer for various department stores, including Montgomery Ward in Maryland, Scranton Dry Goods in Scranton, Pa., and Stanfords in Dubuque, Iowa. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he received a bachelor’s degree and was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. Mr. Mosher was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie and Lucille Mosher. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. (née Mullen); three sons, William J. Jr. and Robert, both of Tinton Falls, and James of Magnolia, Del.; three daughters, Carolyn Burns of Jackson, Elaine Mutz of Brick and Nancy Mosher of Woodbridge; and six grandchildren. Interment
was in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
MARIE T. ABBIATI MUMMERT, 72, of Fair Haven died Sept. 27, 2001 at Brick Hospital. Born in Red Bank, she was a lifelong resident of Fair Haven. She was a retired chief operator at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a past member of the Rumson Women’s Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald C. Mummert in 1955. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Meyer of Fair Haven; two sisters, her twin, Sue Ann Gregory of Ohio, and Dorothea "Dotsie" Orban of Florida; her brother, Charles "Buddy" Abbiati of New Jersey; and two granddaughters. AGNES ANNARELLA, 96, of the Locust section of Middletown, died Sept. 15, 2001 at home. Born in Latrobe, Pa., she resided in Little Silver prior to moving to Locust in 1962. She was the retired founder of Shore Point Distributing Co., Freehold, which she founded in 1933. She was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, as well as its St. Ann’s Society. She was predeceased by her husband, James Annarella Sr. She is survived by two sons, R. James Annarella of Red Bank, and Vincent J. Annarella of Locust; her brother and sister; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. BARBARA EVANS JACOBSON, 58, of Oceanport died Sept. 27, 2001 at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch., Born in Jersey City, she resided in Middletown before moving to Oceanport 34 years ago. She was a guidance counselor at Red Bank Regional High School for 21 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of The Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Constance Ippolito Evans. She is survived by her husband, Barry A. Jacobson of Oceanport; her son, Gregory A. Jacobson of Monmouth Beach; her daughter, Lauren E. Jacobson of Morris Plains; two brothers, Robert Evans of the Lincroft section of Middletown, and Ronald Evans of Middletown; and her sister, Gail Pelusio of the River Plaza section of Middletown. KATHERINE E. KULCSAR, 45, of Middletown died Sept. 13, 2001 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, from complications from cancer. She was born in South Amboy. She was a member of Calvary Chapel Four Winds, Red Bank, and former member of Calvary Chapel, Wichita, Kan. Her activities included hiking, skiing, horseback riding, bicycling, and time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Steven Kulcsar and Dorothea Amend Kulcsar Kreismer. She is survived by her son, Peter R. Jakiemchek; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael J. and Adrienne Kulcsar, and David S. and Annelie Kulcsar; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Karen A. Chirichello, Susan and Richard Gozick, and Laura T. and Roger Hill; her cousin and husband, with whom she resided, Patricia and Andrew Walsh; her great aunt, Dorothy Makowka; her godfather and his wife; and several nieces and nephews. GERARD J. FINNEGAN, 76, of Hazlet died Oct. 13, 2001 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided there until moving to Hazlet 42 years ago. He was an engineering estimator at ConEdison, New York, for 39 years, retiring in 1989. He was a communicant of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Kelly Finnegan of Hazlet; four sons, Gerard C. Finnegan of Keyport, Kevin P. Finnegan of Springfield, Brian J. Finnegan of Red Bank, and Timothy J. Finnegan of Ramsey; two sisters, Ann Hayes of Brooklyn, and Marjie Piazza of Florida; and six grandchildren. Interment

DORIS McENERNEY POLZER, 84, of Tinton Falls died Oct. 17, 2001 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Red Bank. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, George Polzer. She is survived by her son, George Polzer; two daughters, Jo Regan of Tinton Falls, and Penelope Divis; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. JOHN J. McDONNELL, 65, of the Belford section of Middletown died Sept. 29, 2001 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to Middletown and the Belford area in 1967. He was an internal auditor for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, New York City, for 32 years, retiring in 1992. He was predeceased by his father, John J. McDonnell Sr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Knapp McDonnell of Belford; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Debra McDonnell of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, and Joseph and Dawn McDonnell of Toms River; three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Lee McKinley of Middletown, Dorothy and Thomas Kennedy of Red Bank, and Patricia and Robert Baker, also Red Bank; his mother, Bridget McDonnell of Long Island, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. EDNA M. TEKIEN NOLBERT, 88, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, died Oct. 3, 2001 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a member of Lincroft Bible Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Nolbert. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Chris Nolbert of Missouri; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen McVey of Red Bank, Sophia Tekien of Lincroft, Lilyan Tekien of Whiting, and Wanda and Harold Wessel; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. PETER PAUL APOLLO, 26, of Tinton Falls died Sept. 11, 2001, following the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, New York City. He was an equities trader at Cantor Fitzgerald (104th floor), One World Trade Center. He was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School, and active in its football team as well as Little League, soccer, and Pop Warner football. He received his bachelor of science degree from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, and completed the Series 7 and Series 63 credentialing from the New York stock exchange. He is survived by his parents, Cecile and Peter Apollo of Tinton Falls; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Reed Page, and Denise and Chris Mauthe; his grandparents, Cecilia and Bernard Fitzpatrick; his dear friend, Debra Johnson; two nieces and one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
