DOROTHY MAE TWIDLE of OCEAN GROVE, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2009. She was born in East Orange, N.J. on November 21, 1914 and moved to Ocean Grove as a young girl. She graduated from Neptune High School in 1932 and went to work for the Jersey Central Power & Light Company. Upon marrying, she became a homemaker, briefly lived in Belmar and raised 4 children in Ocean Grove. In her later years she worked as the church secretary at the First United Methodist Church in Belmar and at the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Bible Bookstore. She loved Jesus, and in all she did, she proclaimed him as her Lord and Savior. She was a marvelous cook and enjoyed entertaining, Bible studies, the Knicks, good preaching, church music and swimming in the ocean. She loved her family and friends dearly. In her later years, she lived in the Francis Asbury Manor and the Manor-by-the-Sea nursing home and received wonderful, loving care from the staff in both facilities. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford "Tweet" Twidle, a brother, Stewart, of Florida, her daughter, Karen Sager, and her grandson, Jeffrey Sager. She is survived by her son, the Reverend Dr. Richard Twidle and his wife, Judy, of Ocean Grove; her daughter, Susan Twidle of Rhode Island; her son, Stephen Twidle and his wife, Susan, of Ocean Grove; five grandchildren to whom she was known lovingly as "Mom-Mom"; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Anne Jacobsen of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. A private, family burial took place on Saturday, December 12th at the Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, December 27th at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Embury and New York Aves., Ocean Grove. MARY LOUISE BUSH, 82, of OCEAN GROVE, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Manor-by-the-Sea, Ocean Grove. She was a file clerk for the St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston for 21 years, retiring in 1992. Miss Bush was a member of the Calvary Roseville United Methodist Church, East Orange. Born in Guilford, CT, she lied in East Orange before moving to Ocean Grove in 1998. Surviving are her friends in Ocean Grove and several cousins in Texas. Friends were invited to call at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30. A funeral service began at 10:30. Interment
was Wednesday at Alderbrook Cemetery, Guilford, CT. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Calvary Roseville United Methodist Church, 400 Main Street, East Orange, NJ 07018 would be appreciated.
PAUL TORTOMASI, 85, of NEPTUNE, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Tortomasi was a salesman for the Penn Furniture Company, Neptune before retiring. Mr. Tortomasi was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2639, Neptune and the Sons of Italy . He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Scicchitano Tortomasi in 1981, by his daughter Barbara Marie Procopio, by his granddaughter, Brianna Purgatorio, by his brother Vincent Tortomasi, and by his parents, Salvatore and Maria Louisa Tortomasi. Surviving are his son, Salvatore, with whom he lived, his daughters and sons in law, Georgina and Richard LaCour, of Neptune, Francine and Richard Simonsen of Wall Township, Jean and Ronald Potts, Mary and Robert Purgatorio and Rosalie and Felix Picone, all of Neptune and his sister, Anna Pizzitola and her family of Sicily. He was a loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Monday morning, January 4 at 10:00 AM, with interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
JEANNE ANN SNYDER, 56, of OCEAN GROVE, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the King Manor Care Center, Neptune. Miss Snyder was employed by the ARC of Monmouth Work Opportunity Center for 29 years, before retiring due to illness. She bowled with the Shore Lanes Bowling League for 22 years and was active with the Friends of Special Children. Jeanne enjoyed aerobics, dance, swimming, square dancing and participating in the Special Olympics. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove, and was a member of its Woman's Society. When she was younger, she was active in the Youth Programs of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting young peoples programs at Thornley Chapel. She was a Girl Scout and a Sunday School member. Born in North Bergen, NJ on February 11, 1953, she was predeceased by her father, H. Hudson Snyder in 1983. Surviving are her mother, Emy Lou Ruhle Snyder, her sisters, Lynn McGrath of Friendsville, TN and Merril Megill and her husband, Chip, of Ocean Grove, her nephew, Nicholas J. Megill and her niece, Morgan A. Megill, both of Ocean Grove, and her longtime friends, Steven Kamuda and Patty Bennett. A funeral service will be held at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM, with interment following at the Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. RICHARD (“RIK”) T. TEMPERINI, JR.
RICHARD (“RIK”) T. TEMPERINI, JR., 37, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and resided in Tinton Falls. He was a graduate of Monroe High School and DeVry University. Rik was a loving father and husband, a talented engineer, a gifted musician, an avid surfer, an amazing Chef, and a dear friend to many.
He is predeceased by his father, Richard T. Temperini, Sr., and his grandparents, Albert and Anne Temperini.
Surviving are his wife Mary Jane Capolongo Temperini, his sons Nicholas and Vincent Temperini, his mother Jean Temperini, his sister Taryn Temperini, his niece Lisa Marie Foti, and countless dear friends held close to his heart.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. A funeral home service will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Interment

Lilia L. Nero
Lilia L. Nero, 90, passed away at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch on June 24, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, NY; she previously resided in Fair Haven for most of her life before moving to Middletown and then to Shrewsbury.
Lilia was a communicant of St. James RC Church in Red Bank. She earned a Masters Degree from Columbia University. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and mother.
Lilia is predeceased by her parents: Louis and Assunta (Santacarlucci) Camei; her husband, Michael M. Nero, who passed away in April of 1976 and her sister, Atea Capanelli.
Surviving are her daughters and their husbands: Janet and Michael Walsh of Sante Fe, New Mexico; Carol and Wayne Smith of Holmdel; Nancy and Archibald Laird of Rumson and Betty and Randy Rauscher of Holmdel.
Also surviving are her five grandchildren: Jeffrey, Kelly, Amanda, Emily and Liza; her step grandchildren: Ed and Lori; her four great grandchildren: Austin, Ela, Cordelia and Luka and her five step great grandchildren: Kevin, Kim, Dakota, Nero and Caden.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will take place at St. James RC Church in Red Bank on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00AM with interment following at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Middletown.

JACLYN ANN “JACKIE” (COSTELLO) LAKE
Jackie died suddenly at home on Thursday, April 8, 2010. She was born February 11, 1962 in Red Bank. Jackie grew up in Fair Haven and attended Willow Street Knollwood Schools. She graduated from Rumson Fair Haven High School in 1980. She was an accomplished phonologist to the “delight” of all who received her many calls. Jackie had various jobs from Lerner’s, Seven-Eleven, Foodtown in Red Bank, the Pour House, Fair Haven Acme and most recently at the Little House Daycare at Riverview Medical Center. Jack had the biggest heart and always meant well. She was loved by everyone young and old alike. She adored her husband of 10 years, Jeff and loved her family so much, most especially being the proud Aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jackie was predeceased by her father John J. Jack Costello in 1981. She is survived by her husband Jeffry of Red Bank, her mother Gloria Costello of Red Bank, brothers John Costello of Red Bank, Terry Costello of Fair Haven, Tim Costello and wife Carol of Rumson, sister Joy and husband Bill Jakubecy of Fair Haven, brother’s and sister’s in law, Jimmy and Karen Lake of Eatontown and Monica and Bernie Setaro of Middletown, nieces and nephews John, James, Ted, Patrick, T.J., Kelly, Jake, Jameson, Carly and Kerry Costello, Alison and Will Jakubecy, Lindsey and Carly Setaro, great nieces and nephews Jack, Nicky, Annabelle, James, Seth, Cameron, Corbin and Elliot Costello.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 from 4-7pm at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.

TOMMY C. FALCONE
TOMMY C. FALCONE, 22, died tragically on Monday, August 9, 2010 in Greenville, NC. He was born in Freehold, NJ and lived in Red Bank all of his life. He attended Red Bank Middle School where he played sports and was a star member of the chess club. He was a graduate of Red Bank Regional High School where he played basketball and football with his friends. Tommy attended East Carolina University where he studied as a biology student. He loved working out and enjoyed snow boarding, Play Station and ex box. His appearance was the most important. He was thoughtful and loving and known for his loyalty and adventurous spirit. Tommy had a tender heart and he respected everyone.
He is survived by his mother Cherylann Falcone and her companion John Malfettano of Toms River, Rick Mangold who raised him like a son, Rebecca Thornton who treated him like a son, maternal grandfather, Edward Liska, maternal grandmother Mary Ann Albe, paternal great grandmother Veronica Liska and maternal great grandmother Jennie Nagy, uncles Eddie Liska and his wife Tina and Jason Liska, cousin Kristy Lee Liska and many friends. He is also survived by his father Tom Falcone, Paternal grandmother Charlotte Falcone and many Falcone family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 4-8pm at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 14, 2010, 10:00 am at St. James RC Church, Red Bank. Interment
