Kent E. Madsen
Beachwood resident Kent E. Madsen, whose parents live in Point Pleasant Beach, died Saturday, March 28.
He was 52 years old.
Born in Plainfield, he lived in Long Valley, before moving to Beachwood in 1986. He was an investigator for Consumer Affairs in Ocean County for 12 years.
Upon his retirement he became the captain/owner of the Wrong Tern, a sport fishing charter in Beachwood.
He was a well-renowned journalist, writing many articles for Fisherman’s Magazine, and Nor’East Saltwater. He was a trained expert fisherman who had a passion for wildlife. He was also known as a gourmet seafood chef to everyone who knew him.
He received a B.A. degree in management from Monmouth University and a B.S. degree in marine biology from Stockton State College.
Surviving are his wife, Helen “Rose” Martino Madsen; a son, Peter and his wife, Elizabeth Kneute, of Hazlet, and a daughter, Maryellen and her husband, Thomas, of Toms River; and his parents, Edward and Dorothy Madsen, of Point Pleasant Beach.
Visitation Friday 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals 412 Main Street Toms River, 08753. Burial
will follow at Forrest Green cemetery in Marlboro.

William B. Harris
Jackson resident William B. Harris, formerly of Wall, a loving and devoted husband and father, died Friday, March 27 in the Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
He was 81 years old.
Born at home in the Glendola section of Wall Township, Mr. Harris remained a resident of Wall Township before relocating to Jackson five years ago.
Mr. Harris served with the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a partner with his brothers in the family business, Harris Brothers Construction, and Jackson Asphalt of Wall Township for 50 years before retiring 13 years ago. Following his retirement, he worked for Plastaclad Company of Wall Township for 10 years, remaining active with the company until March. Mr. Harris was a member of the Wall Travel Trailer Camping Club, and was an avid collector and restorer of classic cars, with the mustang as his specialty.
He was predeceased by his parents, John E. Harris and Lela King Harris.
Mr. Harris is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Betty A. Gravatt Harris; his devoted children, Dorene Krukowski and her husband, Glen, of Jackson, Brad Harris and his wife, Rita, of Middletown, Greg Harris of Jackson, Bill Harris and his wife, Stacey, of Toms River, and Wendy Harris of Jackson; his brothers, John Harris, and Clarence Harris and his wife, Frances; his sister-in-law, Peggy Potter; his loving grandchildren, Charlene and Jason Krukowski, Ashley and Sierra Harris, and Elizabeth Cummings; and his two great grandchildren, Hayden, and Jacob, with a third great grandchild soon to join the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, Wall Township, with interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Route 33, West Tinton Falls. Enes A. Blasi
Spring Lake resident Enes A. Blasi died Friday, March 27 in the Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center, Wall.
She was 94 years old.
She lived in Newark and South Orange prior to moving to Spring Lake in 1969.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco, in 1998, and her sisters, Yolanda, Irma, Emily, Thelma, Eva, Minnie and Josephine.
Enes is survived by her daughters, Janice Clitheroe of Coral Springs, Fla., and Brenda Meehan of Florham Park; her son, Robert R. of Spring Lake Heights; her seven loving grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Robert, Michael, Kevin, Kimberly and Corey; and three great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the entire staff at the Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center in Wall for their loving and passionate care of Enes over the past four years.
There will be no viewing as the family will hold a private service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Neary Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan.

Michael J. Isaak
Spring Lake resident Michael J. Isaak died too young on Friday, March 27.
He was 45 years old.
Born in Miami, Fla., Michael grew up in Teaneck with his loving parents, Harry and Dodie Zehnwirth, and his sister, Amy. After high school, he moved to the shore where he met his beautiful wife, Amaris Olson, with whom he had three wonderful children, Alisha, Kaden, and Bryce. Michael was a landscape contractor, but was best known for his sense of humor and sharp wit. He was an amazing father and husband, and will be dearly missed by so many.
Michael was predeceased by his grandparents Sidney and Sylvia Schulman [Bayonne].
He leaves his wife, Amaris; children, Alisha, Kaden, and Bryce; parents, Harry and Dodie Zehnwirth [Sarasota, Fla.]; sister, Amy Howard, and her daughter, Sylvie [Florida]; in-laws, Gloria and Bernard Olson [Spring Lake]; brother-in-law, Mark Olson [Belmar]; sisters-in-law, Tammy Olson, Marissa Olson, and Shala Olson [Spring Lake]. He also leaves his many adoring aunts and uncles from Israel, Bergen County, Pennsylvania, and Spring Lake, as well as his many nieces and nephews, most especially Lacey and Saharra Olson [Spring Lake], Samara and Manny Mayo [Florida], and Ariel and Aaron Olson [Florida].
A memorial service will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall, on Saturday, April 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. All are invited to attend.
Maximillion Roman Berg
Chandler, Ariz. resident Maximillion Roman Berg, formerly of Point Pleasant Beach, died Monday, March 23 after succumbing to the metastisis of ocular melanoma.
He was 64 years old.
Max was born in Jersey City in 1944, graduated Brick High School in 1962 and lived in Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Arizona in 1988.
His journey through life included six years serving his country in the U.S. Naval Air Reserve, 40 years of dedicated service to U.S. Airways, owner of The Triton House Senior Residence, and many years as a volunteer for the Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad, based in Point Pleasant Beach.
He leaves behind wonderful memories of a dedicated husband, loving father, dependable friend and his newfound love, being “Pop Pop.”
Max is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda; a daughter, Lisa; a son, Darren; three grandsons who lifted his heart, Maximillion, Michael and Ryan; his mother, Wanda; a brother, Carl; and many nieces and nephews.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, to either the Ocular Melanoma Foundation, P. O. Box 29261, Richmond, VA 23242 or Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad would be appreciated.

Linda S. Finan
Linda S. Finan, of Wall, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15 at home surrounded by her family. She was 62.
She was born in Irvington and resided most of her life in Wall.
Linda was the sole proprietor of Monmouth Electrolysis in Wall since 1989.
She loved horses, a good book and most of all, spending time with her large family.
She is survived by her three children, Daniel Ansbach and his wife Colleen, of Califon, Timothy Ansbach and his wife Kristy, of Point Pleasant, and Jennine Tiedemann and her husband Jay, of Wall; nine grandchildren, Heather, Sean, Collin, Luke, Brenton and Paige Ansbach and Emma, Carter and Katie Bell Tiedemann; two sisters, Jean Ricardy, of Elberon, and Lydia Glynn, of Freehold; and her long-time, loving companion Phillip Tischio, of Manasquan.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home in Manasquan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Manasquan.
Mark S. Stanislowski
Mark S. Stanislowski, 53, of Wall, died Monday, May 14 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center in New York City in the loving arms of his family. He was 53.
Born in East Orange, Mark lived in Massachusetts before moving to Wall 12 years ago. He was an accountant for Thrillist.com in New York City, and was a parishioner of Holy Innocents Church, Neptune.
He was a member of the Belmar Fishing Club and enjoyed playing golf and sailing. He was a very family oriented man, who spent most of his time having barbecues at home with his family and friends. He was especially proud of his children and was always at their sporting events.
Mark was predeceased by his father Edward Stanislowski.
Surviving are his mother Mary Stanislowski; his beloved wife of 24 years Karlene Stanislowski; two children, Matthew and Megan; a brother, Edward Stanislowski and his wife Susan; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Kobylowski and his wife Nancy, Kevin Kobylowski and his wife Maria; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of the O’Brien Funeral Home in Wall.
Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be offered Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Church in Neptune.
Burial
will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, in Brielle.
