Doris D. Anderson
Doris D. Anderson, 92 of Brielle, passed away Thursday, June 23 at Claremont Care Center, in Point Pleasant.
Doris was born and raised in Elizabeth. She lived in Bay Head for over 20 years before moving to Brielle 23 years ago.
She was a secretary for National State Bank in Elizabeth for 15 years.
Doris enjoyed playing tennis, baby sitting her grandchildren and trips to New Hampshire.
She was a member of the Elizabethtown Country Club and a board of director of Visiting Nurse Association of Union County.
Doris was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Richard Anderson, in December of 2010.
She is survived by her son, Richard Anderson, of Brielle; two grandchildren, Jill Riescher and Scott Anderson; and six great-grandchildren, Finley, Kyle, Colin, Brooke, Riley and Gavin.
Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan, was in charge of arrangements.
Burial
was private.

John A. Jewusiak
John A. Jewusiak, 63, of Point Pleasant Beach, with family in Manasquan, died Saturday, June 25.
He was born in Englewood, and lived in Point Pleasant for many years.
Mr. Jewusiak was a teacher for the Wall Township Board of Education for 30 years, retiring in 2003.
Surviving is his wife of 32 years, Ingrid E. Endreson Jewusiak, and his son, Bud and his wife, Keli, of Manasquan.
John also is survived by many family members and friends.
Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, Point Pleasant Beach, was in charge of arrangements.
Cremation was private.
Alexander Bruce Cameron
Alexander Bruce Cameron Jr., 89, of Brick, formerly of Spring Lake Heights, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 18.
He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., and graduated from Overbrook High School in the class of 1940.
After going to work for Wanamaker’s in Philadelphia and playing basketball for the Philadelphia Church Basketball League and Main Line League, he gained a basketball scholarship to Lafayette College.
He graduated from Lafayette in 1949.
During summer breaks in college, he was employed as a camp counselor at Camp Wyomissing in Monroe County, Pa.
Bruce has a long career as a chemistry teacher for Asbury Park High School, retiring in 1984 after 32 years.
During that time, he also served as the JV basketball coach for the Blue Bishops from 1953 to 1956, and as the varsity coach from 1959 to 1962 and again from 1968 to 1973.
During summers, Bruce was employed as a camp counselor for Seashore Day Camp in Long Branch, and later as a head steward for the Manasquan River Yacht Club in Brielle.
Bruce was devoted to his family, his students, and as a coach to his players. He was a quiet individual who possessed a wonderful sense of humor. Bruce was an avid sports enthusiast, and he enjoyed his time on the Spring Lake boardwalk. Bruce also had a fondness for animals, and was a true backyard birder.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Thelma Gray Cameron, formerly of Yeadon, Pa., and his sister, Dorothy Cameron Conner, formerly of Deland, Fla.
He is survived by his sister, Evelyn Rasmussen, of Shippensburg, Pa.; his three daughters and son-in-law, Lynn Cameron Slowey and William Slowey, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jill Cameron of Neptune, and Stacey Cameron of Brick; as well as his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Ben Werntz, of Marmora; and several nieces and nephews.

Earl John McKee
Earl John McKee, 88, a native of Easton, Pa. died June 26 at his home on Riverside Drive, Manasquan.
Born in Easton, Pa. he was the son of the late Earl and Ida McKee.
He had a 38 year career in the printing industry.
He was employed as the executive vice president at Easton Printing Company and a member of the Board of Directors before retiring in 1985.
He lived in Easton Pa. and then moved to Delaware Park in Phillipsburg, with his wife, Jeanne Lommason McKee, who died in May 1997.
Mr. McKee and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 12, 1995.
He is survived by a son, Kim of Rockville, Md.; a daughter, Dawn MacKay, of San Diego, Calif.; and a sister, Yvonne Newhard, of Easton, Pa. A daughter, Jill, died in infancy.
He was formerly president of the Phillipsburg Pistol Club, lieutenant of the Lopatcong Township Emergency Squad, a member of the Lehigh Valley Club of Printing House Craftsmen, the Easton Rotary Club, Manasquan Fishing Club and a member of the “Over the Rail Gang” of fishermen.
Earl was an avid fisherman and rod builder and was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan.
A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday, July 2 at 11 a.m.

Sgt. James W. Harvey II
U.S. Army Sergeant James W. Harvey II, 23, of Toms River and formerly of Clark, with family in Spring Lake, passed away Monday, June 20, while proudly serving our country in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan.
He has been posthumously awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for bravery.
Jimmy was born in Livingston, and had resided in Clark for 10 years, graduating from the Arthur L. Johnson High School, before moving with his close-knit family to Toms River four years ago.
He was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, based in Fort Knox, Ky.
He had enlisted in the Army at age 21 and was deployed to Andar Province in January.
Prior to enlisting in the Army, he had been employed at Public Service Electric & Gas in the Metro Division underground as a cable splicer and substation operator.
Jimmy was the grandson of the late Thomas “Buddy” and Betty Cummings, and the late James W. Harvey, and nephew of the late Patricia Cummings Czachowski.
He is survived by his loving parents, James S. and Susan L. Cummings Harvey, of Toms River; his three devoted sisters Christine and Steve Douglas, of Colonia, Robin and David Raffaele, of Scotch Plains, and Tracey Harvey, of Toms River; his two nephews, Ryan and Michael, his uncle, Joseph Czachowski and his uncle and aunt, Robert and Gina Harvey and a very large extended family.
The O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall, was in charge of arrangements.
Burial
was in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall with full military honors.

Dominick Condello
Dominick Condello, 78, of Lake Como, peacefully met the Lord Friday, June 24 surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Dominick was born in Sicily, Italy and lived most of his life in the Asbury Park area.
He moved to Lake Como in 1982 and wintered in Stuart, Fla.
He owned and operated Dominick’s Barber Shop, in Belmar, for 40 years, retiring in 1995.
Dominick was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, in Asbury Park.
He was an avid golfer and along with his lifelong friend Joe “Gog” enjoyed meeting with “the group of 8” to play at Jumping Brook.
He would tell you he won every week, and most of the time he did.
Dominick’s passions were rooting for the New York Giants, the New York Yankees and debating politics with whomever he could lure into a discussion.
Dominick was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Anna Condello.
He is survived by his loving wife Ellen; two daughters, AnnaMarie and her husband Garry Sanders, of Ocean Township and Bobbie and her husband, Ian Imber, of Tinton Falls; two stepdaughters, Pam Cooper, of Wall and Robin and her husband, Michael Henry, of Lake Como; one stepson, Tom Cooper and his wife Andrea, of Wall; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Sanders and his fiancé, Myila, Evan Imber, Tess and Nell Henry and Adrianne and Elaina Cooper; and a brother, Charles and his wife Cathy, of Farmingdale.
Dominick was interred in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
Francioni, Taylor and Lopez, Neptune, was in charge of arrangements.
