Theresa Joan Di Prospero, 78, of Lakeworth, Fla. died on Saturday, October 2, 1999 at Lakeworth Hospice Hospital.
Born in Scotch Plains, she moved to Florida in 1980.
Ms. Di Prospero was an electronic assembler for Western Instruments in Newark for 39 years, retiring in 1980.
She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Scotch Plains and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Surviving are three brothers, Nicholas Di Prospero, Joseph Di Prospero and Mario Di Prospero and a sister, Angelina Montalbano.
A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 16, at St. Bartholomew Church.

Life Dates: January 10, 1917 - September 16, 2005
Mary A. Zsilavetz, age 88 of Perth Amboy, died on Friday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Perth Amboy and was a life long resident of the City.
Mrs. Zsilavetz retired in 1979 from Sportswear Trophy Inc. of Perth Amboy, where she was a stainer for 6 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Zsilavetz who died in 1997, and her daughter, Geraldine Mutilitis who died in 1998.
Survived by: Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Joann Zsilavetz of Waretown NJ, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Anne R. Mizerak
Life Dates: December 8, 1925 - November 19, 2003
Anne Mizerak, age 77, died on Wednesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was born in Hawk Run, Pa. and had resided in Edison for the last 50 years.
Mrs. Mizerak was a Customer Service Representative for New Jersey Bell for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. She was a communicant at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords and a member of the Clara Barton Senior Citizens Club.
Survived by: Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Michael Mizerak, her sons, John Mizerak of Lexington, Mass., and Michael Mizerak of Atlanta, Ga., her brother, George Ropchock of Brecksville, Ohio and her sister, Martha Ve Rost of North Tonawanda, NY. Also surviving are her grandchildren, John F. Mizerak, Jr., and Jordan Mizerak and many nieces and nephews. She was also a special aunt to Janet Hansen and Marion Hodum.

Rose M. Shegas
Life Dates: November 3, 1919 - July 31, 2006
Rose M. Shegas, age 86, died on Monday at her home in Iselin, NJ. She was born in Inslee, AL and had resided in Perth Amboy moving to Iselin 25 years ago.
Mrs. Shegas worked as a seamstress for 30 years for Dora Dress Company of South River, NJ. She was a member of Most Holy Rosary RC Church in Hopelawn and was an Honorary Member of the Holy Rosary Seniors. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s Woman’s Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Shegas who died in 1988, her parents, Joseph and Maria Boccippio, her sisters, Salvatricia Gianni and Josephine Randazzo and her brother, Angelo Boccippio.
Survived by: Surviving are her twin brother, Frank Boccippio of Edison, NJ and her brother, Thomas Boccippio of Hopelawn, NJ. Also surviving are her loving and devoted niece, Diane Hendricks and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, August 3, 2006 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Life Dates: June 6, 1909 - July 27, 2006
Jesus M. Batista, age 97 of Perth Amboy, died on Thursday at Alameda Center in Perth Amboy. He was born in Dominican Republic and had lived in Perth Amboy since 1967.
Mr. Batista was employed at Fedders Corporation in Edison for many years until his retirement. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gregoria Regina Hernandez Batista who died in 2001.
Survived by: Surviving are his daughters, Maria J. Hernandez, Ramona Hernandez, Dulce M. Diaz, Adela Batista and Grace Batista of Perth Amboy and his sons, Jose B. Batista, Jose M. Batista, Alberto E. Batista and Marino Batista of Perth Amboy and Augustin Batista of New York. Also surviving are fifty-two grandchildren, fifty-seven great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren and his sister, Aurora Batista of Perth Amboy.

Joseph Henry Haduch
Life Dates: July 31, 1922 - July 29, 2006
Joseph Henry Haduch, age 83 of Montague, NJ, died on Saturday at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was born and resided in Perth Amboy, NJ, moving to Montague 8 years ago.
Mr. Haduch was a retired machine operator who worked for Syncro Machine Company in Woodbridge, NJ. He was a member of St. Stephen’s RC Church in Perth Amboy and was an avid bowler.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Rosalia Haduch, his brother, John Haduch who had served on the USS Indianapolis and died when sunk by the Japanese during WWII, his sisters, Sonya Mizerak and Estelle Kociolek and his nephew, Steve Mizerak.
Survived by: Surviving are his sisters, Sr. Bernice Marie Haduch of Lodi, NJ and Sr. Mary Casimir Haduch of Lodi, NJ, his niece, Joyce Mizerak Clark, his nephew, Brian Kociolek and several great nieces and nephews.

Jasper Earl Blackmond, age 59 of South Amboy, died on Saturday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was born in Louisburg, NC and resided in Perth Amboy moving to South Amboy 2 years ago.
He was predeceased by his children, Richard Barnes and Brooke Ann Brown.
Survived by: Surviving are his sons, Samuel Barnes of Perth Amboy, Robert, Spiegel of Perth Amboy, Ricky Spiegel of Morristown and Brian Spiegel of Carteret and his daughters, Carol Barnes of Perth Amboy, Barbara Barnes of East Brunswick, Patricia Calvo of Perth Amboy, Shantell Hampton of Woodbridge and Cynthia Spiegel of Woodbridge. Also surviving are his sisters, Ethel Dollson of Perth Amboy and Sara Crudup of Carteret, his brothers, Arlester Blackmond of Spring Hope, NC and Charles Blackmond of Carteret, his significant other, Shelley Spiegel of South Amboy, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
