Norma Borsellega
Life Dates: December 7, 1942 - August 4 2005
Norma Borsellega, age 62 of Hopelawn, died on Thursday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Hopelawn for the last 22 years.
Mrs. Borsellega was a homemaker and loving mother who devoted her time to her husband and family. She would often travel to Key Largo.
Survived by: Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Tony Borsellega, her sons, Norman Fahad of Persey AK. and Tony Borsellega of Long Island NY, and her daughter, Noreen Bonner of Highlands. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Janice Dingler of Parlin, her grandchildren, Norman Fahad, Keith Fahad, Eli Fahad, Allison Fahad, Jessica Hook Michell Hook and Wesley Bonner and her nephew, Jeffrey Dingler.
Visitation: Sunday, August 7, 2005 7:00-9:00 p.m.; Monday, August 8, 2005 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Jacqueline S. Tannenbaum
Life Dates: June 21, 1941 - March 31, 2005
Jacqueline S. Tannenbaum, age 63 of Colonia, died on Thursday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Born on Staten Island, NY she grew up in Great Neck, Long Island and formerly lived in Manalapan. Jackie was a legal secretary with the firm of Dickstein, Shapiro, Morin and Oshinsky in New York City for the past 8 years.
Survived by: Surviving are her loving companion Andrew Zajack, Jr. of Colonia, her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Eberenz and Jeff Dangelmajer of Barnegat, Patricia and Michael Crapanzano of Manahawkin and Joanne and Eddy Waake of Freehold, her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Tannenbaum of Hamilton, her grandchildren, Kelly, Gregory, Danny, Robbie, Kyle, Casey, Michele, Melissa and Mara, and her great-granddaughter Kamryn.
Visitation: Saturday, April 2, 2005 1:00 -2:00 p.m.

Alfred Batista
Life Dates: October 23, 1977 - March 13, 2005
Alfred Batista passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center of Perth Amboy on March 13, 2005. Alfred, a life-long resident of Perth Amboy, was born on October 23, 1977.
He had many interests and accomplishments. A gifted musician and singer, he was a founding member of the Christian rock group CROWND. CROWND received a recording contract in 2003 after winning a nationwide competition in Nashville, TN. Alfred was an active member and beloved worship leader in his church.
After completing his Associates Degree at Middlesex County College, Alfred studied Mechanical Engineering at NJIT. He was enjoying a dynamic career in engineering and sales, while pursuing his passion of full-time music ministry.
Survived by: Alfred is survived by his loving wife Denise, daughter Anneliesse 4 months, mother Angela Batista, father Marino Batista, and stepmother Yolanda Batista, brothers Jaime and Joel, and extended family.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 2:00-400 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Rose P. Balogh
Life Dates: July 25, 1920 - February 8, 2005
Rose P. Balogh, age 85 of Hazlet, died on Tuesday at Briarwood Nursing Home in Sayreville. She was born and resided most of her life in Perth Amboy before moving to her daughter’s home 10 years ago.
Mrs. Balogh was a Dietary Aide at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy for 8 years retiring in 1992. She was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary RC Church in Perth Amboy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph who died in 1994, her sons, John and Frank who died in 1992 and her brothers, Vito Dorio who died in 2002 and Sam Dorio who died in 2003.
Survived by: Surviving are her sons, Joseph Jr. of Edison, Victor of Lawrence Harbor, Ronald of Fords and Michael of Edison and her daughters, Beverly Ehlbeck of Hazlet, Roseann Blanco of Hazlet and Debra Dougherty of Aberdeen. Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, February 10, 2005 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Kim Belly
Life Dates: July 31, 1983 - February 4, 2005
Kim Belly, age 21 of Fords, died on Friday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Perth Amboy and lived all of her life in Fords.
She graduated from Woodbridge High School Class of 2001 and was presently attending college. Kim was a karate instructor for Woodbridge Recreation Department in Woodbridge teaching youngsters age 5 -12 years old. At the age of 13 she attained her black belt in karate and competed in world tournaments in South Africa and Germany. Her maternal grandfather Edward Cheress is deceased.
Survived by: Surviving are her parents, John and Sue Cheress Belly of Fords, her sister, Lisa Belly of Fords, her maternal grandmother, Peggy Madeline Cheress of Fords, her paternal grandparents, John and Dolores Belly of Long Pond, PA and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Visitation: Monday, February 7, 2005 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Francis Anthony Benanito
Life Dates: July 5, 1917 - January 11, 2005
Francis Anthony Benanito, age 87 of Perth Amboy, died on Tuesday at Bartley Health Care Center in Jackson. He was born in Norwalk, CT and was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy, NJ.
Mr. Benanito was a mechanic at the Raritan Arsenal in Edison from 1945 to 1963 and then was co-owner of the B & B Tavern in Perth Amboy for 22 years retiring in 1985 at the age of 70.
He was known for his kindness and generosity. His hobbies were photography and gourmet cooking which were greatly appreciated at many family events over the years.
He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII from 1942-1945 as an engineer equipment mechanic.
His daughter, Christina Benanito who died in 1978 predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Helen Patskanick Benanito, his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Benanito Sgromolo and Joseph of Point Pleasant, two brothers, four sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, January 14, 2005 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Anne M. Bernhardt, age 90 of Fords, died on Wednesday at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. She was born in New York City, NY and had resided in Fords for the last 18 years.
Mrs. Bernhardt was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.
Her husband, Charles F. Bernhardt who died in 1977 predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Sidney Plotkin of Fords, NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin T. and Nina Bernhardt of Saddle River, NJ and her granddaughter, Kimberly Brisson of Fords, NJ.
