Leon Ferrari
Life Dates: March 16, 1922 - September 23, 2003
Leon Ferrari, age 81, died on Tuesday at Bayshore Health Care Center in Holmdel, NJ. He was born in Carteret and resided in Sewaren for 53 years.
Mr. Ferrari was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight Ways, South Plainfield for 38 years retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Port Reading and a member of VFW Post 663 in Perth Amboy.he was also a former member of St. Anthony's Senior Citizens Club and a member of Teamsters Local 478.
He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII on the USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier in the Pacific.
His wife, Julia Petrick Ferrari who died in 1985 and his sister, Ida Wishney predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Leon, Jr. and Joan Ferrari of Aberdeen, and John and Diane Ferrari of Fords, his daughter and son-in-law, Karol and Gary Bruno of Port Reading, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arlene "Mom" Freeman
Life Dates: June 9, 1945 - September 14, 2003
Arlene Freeman, age 58, died on Sunday at her home in South Amboy. She was born in Shinglehouse, PA and had resided in Perth Amboy for most of her life before moving to South Amboy a year ago.
Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family.
Her husband, William Freeman who died in 1992 and her brother, John Pillz predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her son, William Freeman of South Amboy, and her daughters, Lisa Dworak of South Amboy, Tesha Lutz of Sewaren, and Christian Genoune of Fords. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, her sisters, Blanche Hargis of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Darlene Pillz of Buckannon, WV, and Maryann Finney of Keyport, her brother, Gerald Gee of NY and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 17, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Elvin C. Gentile
Life Dates: January 8, 1914 - September 27, 2003
Elvin Gentile, age 89, died on Saturday at his home in Monroe Township. He was born in Iesi, Italy and had resided in Bayonne and Fords before moving to Monroe 20 years ago.
Mr. Gentile was a Quality Engineer with the Department of Defense for 17 years retiring in 1976. He had previously been employed as a design Engineer for Lionel Corporation, manufacturer of toy trains for 17 years. He developed a number of prototypes including the milk car.
He was a former member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Edison and a communicant of St. James RC Church in Jamesburg. He was also a member of Stevens Institute of Technology alumni and he taught at the Newark College of Engineering. His many hobbies included woodworking, gardening and he was an avid golfer.
His beloved wife, Marie Videtti Gentile who died in 1997 and his brother, F. Vincent Gentile predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his son, Edmund V. Gentile of Marietta Georgia, his daughter and son-in-law, Desty Clausen and Joseph Rauch of Metuchen, and his grandchildren, Tamara Vergel deDios, Christopher Gentile, Julie Ann Reffett, Alanea Board and Aletia Gentile Clausen. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 1, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Robert J. LaRouche
Life Dates: March 17, 1929 - September 22, 2003
Robert LaRouche, age 74, died on Monday at his home in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge.
He was born in Fresno, California and had resided in Arcadia, California, Detroit, Michigan, Shelby, Ohio and St. Louis, Missouri, moving to New Jersey in 1961 and living in Menlo Park Terrace for the past 31 years.
Mr. LaRouche was the Tire Department Manager with Atlas Supply Company in Springfield for 23 years retiring in 1984.
He was previously employed by UniRoyal in Detroit and Continental Can Company in Los Angeles.
He was a communicant of St. Cecelia's RC Church in Iselin and a former member of Holy Trinity RC Church in Perth Amboy where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and Usher.
He was a former Scout Master in Detroit, the Past President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society Particular Council of Upper Middlesex and a graduate of John Muir Junior College-Pasadena City College District in Altadeana, California.
He was also a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict in Counter Intelligence.
His parents, Oscar and Alice Cantin LaRouche and his brother, Joseph LaRouche who died in 1983 predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Carol Kristofcak LaRouche, his sister, Emily Witzel of Bull Head City, Arizona, his goddaughter, Kristen O'Brien of Woodbridge and two nephews.

Helen Lorentzen, age 78, died on Friday at her home in Woodbridge. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Woodbridge for the past 47 years.
Mrs. Lorentzen was a homemaker who devoted her time to her husband and family.
Her son, Charles Lorentzen who died in 1952 predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Charles Lorentzen, and her brothers, John and F. Vincent Sziber.

Life Dates: February 7, 1921 - September 30, 2003
Doris Neri, age 82, died on Tuesday at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home in South Amboy. She was born in Harrison, NJ and resided in Irvington, moving to Parlin 10 years ago.
Mrs. Neri was a homemaker who devoted her time to her husband and family.
Survived by: Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Albert Neri, her son, Frank Neri of New York City, her daughters, Carolyn Jacik of Irvington and Susan Anzano of Metuchen, and her grandchildren, Joseph Anzano III, Stacey Ascolese, and Judy Jacik. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Michael, Joseph IV, and Dominic Anzano and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, October 5, 2003 7:00-9:00 p.m.; Monday, October 6, 2003 11:00 a.m –1:00 p.m.

Vincent E. Notaro
Life Dates: June 3, 1934 - October 8, 2003
Vincent E. Notaro, age 69, died on Wednesday at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. He was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Edison for the last 50 years.
Mr. Notaro was a Plant Manager for United Nesco in North Brunswick for 25 years, retiring in 1995. He was also was a Security Supervisor at Menlo Park Mall in Edison for 10 years. He was a communicant and usher at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 49½ years, Catherine Capallupo Notaro, his daughter, Cindy Rayho of South Plainfield, his grandchildren, Jennifer, John and Seline and his sister, Rose Swanick of Houston, Texas.
