Louis Ernest Leone
Life Dates: September 3, 1913 - July 11, 2003
Louis Ernest Leone, age 89, died on Friday at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River. He was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Metuchen for 19 years moving to Toms River 12 years ago.
Mr. Leone owned Louis E Leone Construction Company in Metuchen and Edison for 59 years retiring in 1990. He was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Edison, a communicant of Maximilian RC Church in Toms River, and a life member of the BPO Elks Lodge 784 in Perth Amboy.
His brother, Frank Leone predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Margaret Turk Leone, his daughters, Barbara Takacs of Parlin and Linda Hamilton of Toms River, his sisters, Catherine Dixon of Tampa, Florida, Rosemarie Brantley of Edison and Carmilta Dragos of Phoenix Arizona, and his brothers, Alvin and Martin. Also surviving are four grandchildren Aaron, Melisa, Holly and Charlene and three great-grandchildren Michael, Hunter and Cheyanne.
Visitation: Monday, July 14, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Jack Lieberman
Life Dates: November 17, 1915 - August 7, 2003
Jack Lieberman, age 87, died on Thursday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Minneapolis, MN and had resided in Colonia and Menlo Park Terrace for many years before moving to Edison.
Mr. Lieberman was employed with Balentine Brewery in Newark for 30 years, retiring in 1972. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII.
His wife, Ann Moss Lieberman who died in 1983 predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his daughters, Marsha Allen of South Plainfield and Irene Beh of Edison, his grandchildren, Lisa Scardaville and Judi Sosnowski, and his sisters, Jeanette Bros and Sylvia Rosenhain, both of Florida.
Funeral Service: Sunday, August 10, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Rabbi Hilel Rudavsky officiating.

Valentina Mabiog
Life Dates: July 25, 1913 - July 17, 2003
Valentina Mabiog, age 89, died on Thursday at her home in Fords, NJ.
She was born in the Philippines and resided there until moving to the United States in 1983 to take care of her two granddaughters, Melinda and Donna Davis.
Her husband Antonio predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carmelita and Robert Davis of Fords, her sons, Eddie and Enio both of the Philippines, twenty grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday July 20, 2003 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Anita Kritzman
Life Dates: March 2, 1922 - August 6, 2003
Anita Kritzman, age 81, died on Wednesday in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Newark and had resided in Metuchen for over 50 years.
Mrs. Kritzman was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family. Her husband, Saul Kritzman who died in 1999 and her daughter, Karen Zweig predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her sister, Bernice Mugele of Brick, her granddaughters, Lauren Zweig and Heather Bialiy and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: Friday August 8, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. with Rabbi William Krauss officiating.

Lillie M. Peak
Life Dates: April 12, 1913 - July 20, 2003
Lillie Peak, age 90, died on Sunday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Ludwici, Georgia and had resided in Perth Amboy for the past 60 years.
Lillie worked as a domestic for many prominent families in Perth Amboy for 40 years retiring in 1990. During WWII she worked at the Raritan Arsenal in Edison and also the Hyatt Roller Bearing Company in Westfield. She then worked as a seamstress at Raritan Sportswear in Perth Amboy for 15 years.
She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Perth Amboy.
Her brother, Joseph Johnson and her sisters, Gertie and Cecelia Johnson predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles, Sr. and Esther Peak of Perth Amboy and her daughter, Constance Covington of Sarasota, Fla. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jami Lake-Reid of Los Angles, James C Lake of Piscataway, Charles Peak, Jr. of Perth Amboy and Constance Peak of Phillipsburg, and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Johnathan Peak.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery, North Brunswick.
Henry G. Peterson
Life Dates: June 18, 1920 - July 28, 2003
Henry G. Peterson, age 83, died on Monday at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. He was born in Port Reading and resided his entire life in Edison.
Mr. Peterson was a Repairman for over 30 years with US Metals Refinery Company in Carteret. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood THOR Lodge #46 in Edison, VFW Post 4410 of Woodbridge and the Golden Agers of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Rose DeMatteo Peterson, his brothers, Fred and Holger, his sister, Gloria Peterson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, July 31, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Stanley E. Sileski
Life Dates: February 11, 1941 - July 12, 2003
Stanley Sileski, age 62, died on Saturday at his home in Fords. He was born in Wilkes- Barre, Pennsylvania and had resided in Fords for the past 23 years.
Stanley had owned the Market Street Tavern in Perth Amboy from 1974 -1979. He was then employed by General Motors in Linden for 11 years and by Siemens Facilities and Mail service in Iselin for the past 13 years.
He was a veteran of the US Army and was an avid sports fan.
His father, Edward Sileski predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Barbara Elliott Sileski, his daughters and sons-in-law, Colette and Joseph Accardi of Woodbridge and Nancy and Daniel Anderson of Fords, his sons and daughter-in-law, Stanley M. Sileski of Edison and Robert and Michele Sileski of Edison, his mother, Jean Sileski of Toms River, and his sister, Maryanne Ormando of Toms River. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Nicolette and Joseph Accardi, Richard and Ryan Anderson and Kimberly Sileski, two nieces and their husbands, Dr. Paula and Peter Sjlund of South Brunswick and Mary Jo and Glenn Schendel of Sayreville.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 16, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Frances B. Swallick
Life Dates: September 17, 1922 - July 26, 2003
Frances B. Swallick, age 80, died on Saturday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Elizabeth and had resided in Edison for the past 35 years.
Mrs. Swallick was a graduate of Battin High School in Elizabeth, Class of 1939, had worked at ADM Corporation in Elizabeth for 25 years as an Office Manager and was currently retired. She was a communicant at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Clara Barton Auxiliary Post #324 in Edison, a member of the Clara Barton Seniors Social Club in Edison. She was an avid Bowler active in many leagues in Elizabeth, Linden and the Edison area. She was a very caring and loving person who lived life to the fullest and was truly loved by everyone who knew her.
Her husband, Alex who died in 1994, her brothers, Alexander, Joseph, Chester and Henry and her sister, Micheline predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her brother, Casimer Kania of Memphis, Tennessee and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, July 31, 2003 7:00-9:00 p.m.
