Lawrence H. Bernstein, 75, of Sea Bright died on Thursday, July 6, 2000 in the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.
Born in Newark, he had lived in Westfield before moving to Sea Bright five years ago.
Mr. Bernstein had been a sales representative with the Equitable Insurance Company in Clark for 25 years before retiring two years ago.
Mr. Bernstein, a 1950 graduate of Rutgers Law School, served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Bernstein; a son, Michael Bernstein; a daughter, Sheree Bolak; a stepson, Victor Stevens; a stepdaughter, Karolyn Wray, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, July 7, in the Worden-Hoidal Funeral Home in Oakhurst.

Yvonne M. Reville, 38
Nanny for SP Family, NJ Nanny Network Member
Yvonne Marie Reville, 38, of Scotch Plains died on Monday, July 10, 2000 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to New Jersey five years ago.
Ms. Reville graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.
She was employed as a nanny, most recently with a family in Scotch Plains. Ms. Reville was a member of the NJ Nanny Network.
Surviving are her parents, Paul and Arlene Kraebel Reville of Amherst, N.Y. and her sister, Amy Wojcik of Orchard Park, N.Y.
A funeral Mass will be offered tomorrow, Friday, July 14, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 5480 Main Street, Williamsville, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 815, Elizabeth, 07207 or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 447 Springfield Avenue, Summit, 07901.

Christopher L. Keoughan, 34
Controller For Vinnel, Brown and Root in Turkey
Christopher Lee Keoughan, 34, of Adana, Turkey died on Sunday, January 31, 1999 in Adana.
Born in Scotch Plains, he had lived there before moving to Adana.
Mr. Keoughan was employed as a controller for Vinnel, Brown and Root in Adana for seven years.
He had graduated from Union Catholic High School where he was an All-American Swimmer. He also graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Surviving are his wife Sevgi Keoughan of Adana; a daughter, Shannon Keoughan of Adana; his parents, Sidney Keoughan and Barbara Keoughan of Venice, Florida; a sister, Kathleen Keoughan of Sergeantsville; and two brothers, Mark Keoughan of Middlesex and Thomas Keoughan of Hoboken.
Memorial services will be held in Venice, Florida and Adana, Turkey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scotch Plains-Fanwood YMCA, 1340 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains, 07076.

Evelyn R. Tack, 80
Evelyn R. Tack, 80, of Cranford died on Wednesday, January 27, 1999 in Union Hospital.
Born in New York City, she had lived in Scotch Plains, Bradley Beach and Middletown before moving to Cranford six years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory A. Tack and Donald R. Tack; a daughter, Barbara L. Tack; two sisters, Barbara Shiro and Muriel Springmeyer; a brother, Arthur Potterfield, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 30, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Wall.

George Decker, 67
George Decker, 67, of Pine Brook died on Monday, February 1, 1999 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville.
Born in Westfield, he moved to Pine Brook 40 years ago.
Mr. Decker owned George A. Decker Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Pine Brook for the past 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Decker; six brothers, Herbert Decker, John Decker, Victor Decker, Helmer Decker, Foster Decker and Edward Decker, and two sisters, Joan Borre and Estrid Decker.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, February 5, at 10 a.m. at the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. in Lincoln Park.

Clarence Reid, Jr., 92
Clarence E. Reid, Jr., 92, formerly of Mountainside, died on Monday, February 1, 1999 at King James Nursing Home in Highlands.
Born in Saratoga Springs, New York, he grew up in Westfield and moved to Mountainside in 1951. He had lived there until moving to the nursing home three years ago.
Mr. Reid attended Westfield High School, and was a 1929 graduate of Princeton University.
He had worked for Charms Candy Company in several locations, including Freehold, and retired as Vice President and Director in 1978.
Mr. Reid was a member of the First Congregational Church in Westfield for 75 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret DeMeza Reid, in 1982, and by a brother, Raymond C. Reid.
Surviving are his son, William E. Reid of Little Silver; a brother, Walter Reid of Sea Girt, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, February 5, at 11:30 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Plainfield. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church, 125 Elmer Street, Westfield, 07090.

Lucinda Candia, 58
Lucinda Candia, 58, of Westfield died on Friday, January 29, 1999 at Union Hospital in Union.
Born in Little Plymouth, Virginia, she moved to Westfield in 1958.
Mrs. Candia was a self-employed domestic worker.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert Lockey.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Candia of Scotch Plains and Howard Candia and Sammy Candia, both of Plainfield; two daughters, Rosie Candia Kieland of South Carolina and Elizabeth Candia of Westfield; a stepdaughter, Corina Draper of East Orange; three brothers, James Lockley of Plainfield and Herbert Lockley and Lewis Lockley, both of Westfield; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, February 4, at 7 p.m. at the Plinton Funeral Home in Westfield. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Wilhelmina E. Hall, 101
Wilhelmina E. Hall, 101, of South Plainfield died on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at McCutchen Friends Home in North Plainfield.
Born in Plainfield, she had lived there before moving to South Plainfield in 1948.
Surviving are her twin daughters, Claire M. Gibson of Scotch Plains and Louise E. Davis of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, February 5, at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Avenue in Fanwood. Visitation at the funeral home will take place from noon to 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McCutchen Friends Home, 112 Linden Avenue, North Plainfield, 07060.

William J. Rhatigan, 63
William J. Rhatigan, 63, of Westfield died on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at home.
Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Garwood for many years before moving to Westfield in 1972.
Mr. Rhatigan had been employed by Seton Hall University in South Orange in the Student Services Department before retiring in 1990.
He graduated from the university with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education.
Mr. Rhatigan was a United States Army veteran.
He was predeceased by his father, William J. Rhatigan.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Brennan Rhatigan; two daughters, Theresa Bissonnette of Rhode Island and Patricia Corduan of North Carolina; mother, Mary Dailey Rhatigan, and a granddaughter.
Private services were arranged by Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Avenue in Westfield.
A memorial Mass will be held at a future date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad or to the Center for Hope Hospice.
