Constanty Carmen Leo
Life Dates: April 14, 1920 - May 8, 2003
Constanty Carmen Leo, age 83, died on Thursday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Newark, NJ and had resided in Edison for the past 35 years.
Mr. Leo was an employee in the Roads Department with Edison Township for 23 years retiring in 1995. He was a US Veteran serving in the Army during WWII.
He was predeceased by his brother, Pasquale Leo who died in 1997.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife, Agnes Hynes Leo, his daughter, Patricia Fresnado of Old Bridge, and his sons, Constanty " Dean" Leo Jr. and Carl Leo, both of Tampa Fla. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, May 10, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.; Sunday, May 11, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ.
Funeral Service: Monday, May 12, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark.
Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The American Heart Association

Mike Kohut
Life Dates: September 19, 1922 - May 27, 2003
Mike Kohut, age 80, died on Tuesday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was born and resided his entire life in Perth Amboy.
Mr. Kohut was a Shift Supervisor for Chevron Oil Company. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII from 1943-1945. He held the rank of Sergeant and was at the Battle of the Bulge, also serving in Normandy, Northern France, Germany and Central Europe.
He was a member of Chevron Oil Retirees Association and a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption in Perth Amboy.
His brothers, Frank and Joseph predeceased him.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ruth Lewkowitz Kohut, his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marianne Kohut of Yorktown Va, his granddaughter, Mary Alicia, his sister, Anna Sleczka of Metuchen, and his sister-in-law, Janette Kohut of Sewaren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, May 30, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 9:30 a.m. Service of Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption in Perth Amboy.
Interment will follow at the Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Hopelawn.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Building Fund

Gregory Klempa
Life Dates: February 18, 1949 - May 25, 2003
Gregory Klempa, age 54, died on Sunday at his home in Perth Amboy. He was born in and was a life long resident of Perth Amboy.
Mr. Klempa was a Sewerage Plant Operator with the City of Perth Amboy for the past 21 years. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity RC Church in Perth Amboy and a member devotee of the St. Michael the Archangel Group of New Jersey.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife, Ramona Reroma Klempa, his mother, Roslyn Rusnak Klempa of Perth Amboy and his brother, Joel T. Klempa of Juno Florida.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity RC Church.
Cremation will be private.

Mario Esposito
Life Dates: June 30, 1935 - May 2, 2003
Mario Esposito, age 67, died on Friday at Mary Ann Hale Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Italy and had resided in Fords for the past 41 years.
Mr. Esposito was a machine operator with J. M. Huber Company in Edison for 21 years retiring in 1990.He was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary RC Church in Hopelawn and a member of the Italian Tripoli Club in Perth Amboy.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Francesco and Martino.
Survived by: Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Caterina Rotella Esposito, his sons, Francesco of Freehold Mario Jr. of Kennilworth and Luigi of Howell, and ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephanie, Jana, Jonathan, Analisa, Daniela, Joseph, Benjamin, Jacob and Daniel. Also surviving are his brothers, Joseph and George and his sisters, Maria and Angela all of Italy.
Visitation: Monday, May 5, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:000 p.m.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Most Holy Rosary RC Church, Hopelawn.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Florence Lillian Baumlin
Life Dates: August 15, 1912 - May 22, 2003
Florence Baumlin, age 90, died on Thursday at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was born in Perth Amboy and had resided in Fords and Edison moving to Metuchen in 1992.
Mrs. Baumlin was a homemaker devoting her time to her family.
Her husband, Edward J. Baumlin who died in 1986 predeceased her.
Survived by: Surviving are her sons, Edward J. Baumlin Jr. of Frenchtown and Gary R. Baumlin of Long Island, her daughter, Eleanor Angelo of Woodbridge, her brother, Wilbur La Forge of Toms River and her grandson, Brian Baumlin.
Visitation: Monday, May 26, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, Rev. Peter Hofstra officiating.
Burial will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.

Mildred Lorena Walker
Life Dates: July 1, 1923 - April 11, 2003
Mildred Walker, age 79, died on Friday at her home in Edison. She was born in Hockessin, Delaware and had resided in Edison for the last 43 years.
Mrs. Walker received a BA Degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware. She was an Executive Vice President of Pegasus Data Systems in Middlesex, NJ for more than 25 years, retiring in 1997. Prior to that, she had been Executive Secretary to Herbert DuPont of E.I. Dupont, Inc. in Wilmington DE, and in the 1940's she had been employed as a Chemist with Wilmington Chemical Company.
Survived by: Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Harold "Hal" Walker, her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen L. Walker and George Parsons of Somerville, and Nancy "Ann" Walker and Ken Stanley of Metuchen, and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Mary Elizabeth Trimble of Phoenix, Arizona, and Edwin and Margaret Trimble of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Visitation: Sunday, April 13, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home, Rev. Alexandra Van Horn Officiating.
Cremation will follow.

Florence Sorenson
Life Dates: January 8, 1922 - March 24, 2003
Florence Sorenson, age 81, died on Monday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born and resided in Perth Amboy moving to Edison 50 years ago.
Mrs. Sorenson was a Registered Nurse at Perth Amboy Hospital from 1945-1955. She was a member of the Clara Barton Senior Citizens, a former scout leader for Girl Scout Troop 437, Edison and Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 25, Edison.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Sorenson who died in 1984 and her daughter, Suanne Sedenger who died in 1993.
Survived by: Surviving are her sons, Gary Sorenson of Stewartsville and Richard Sorenson of South Plainfield, her daughter, Kathy Huff of Bayville, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 27, 2003 at a time to be announced.
Interment will be at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.

Jack W. Smith
Life Dates: June 15, 1919 - April 16, 2003
Jack W. Smith, age 83, died on Wednesday at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was born in Perth Amboy and had resided for the past 53 years in Metuchen.
Mr. Smith enlisted in the Army on October 7, 1940 and was a survivor of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941. He was awarded the American Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star for his service in Guadalcanal; Luzon; and Northern Solomons, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal and the Philippines Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star.
He retired in 1981 from FMC Corporation in Carteret where he was a chemical operator for over 36 years. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Chapter 1, the 25th Infantry Division Association, Company L Retired Members Association and VFW Post 2636.
He was predeceased by his wife Rose Toro Smith who died in 1987 and five sisters, Evelyn, Edna, Florence, Dorothy and Elizabeth.
Survived by: Surviving are his daughter, Diane M. Smith of Metuchen and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday April 18, 2003 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: Saturday April 19, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home, Reverend Sean Winters, Chaplain at Raritan Bay Medical Center officiating.
Entombment will follow at Lake Nelson Mausoleum, Piscataway, NJ.
