Gerald Francis Wyndorf
Mr. Wyndorf, 84, of Red Bank died Oct. 13 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Atlantic Highlands and had been a resident of Red Bank for the past 54 years. Mr. Wyndorf was employed at Rassas Brothers Pontiac, Shrewsbury; Dorn’s Camera Shop, Red Bank; and Camera Showplace, Hazlet, prior to his retirement. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. He was a volunteer for several years at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and playing golf. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Ottman Wyndorf, in 1985. He is survived by three sons, Gerald W. Wyndorf of Hong Kong and Rowayton, Conn., and David A. Wyndorf and Peter D. Wyndorf, both of Red Bank; five daughters, Susan Anne Wolf of Essex, Conn., Jan E. Lipert of Red Bank, Robin A. Madell of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, Carrie E. Wyndorf of Red Bank, and Elizabeth Janson of North Andover, Mass.; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Adrian Winsor Rose
Mr. Rose, 92, of Poncha Springs, Colo., died Sept. 30 at home. Born and raised in Red Bank, he resided in Monmouth Beach, Ohio, and Florida before moving to Poncha Springs. He worked at Jersey Central Railroad, and in sales for several years, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed time with his family, reading, music, and the outdoors. He was predeceased by his wife, Dagmar M. Johnson; two sisters, Grace and Vera; and eight brothers, Vernon, Elmer, Wilford, Elton, Nelson, Melvin, Raymond and Theodore. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Wilbur Richardson, and Audrey and Chet Ebner; a son, Stephen Rose; a sister, Elva Wolcott; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at The United Methodist Church of Salida, Colo. Arrangements were by Lewis and Glen Funeral Home, Colorado. Florence Costabile Criscuolo
Mrs. Criscuolo, 80, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Oct. 11 in Carriage House Manor, Sayreville. Her husband, Salvatore L. Criscuolo, died in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Lucille Penn of Parlin; a son, Fred Criscuolo of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Louis Costabile of Gilroy, Calif.; two sisters, Lena Catello of Long Branch and Helen Rescigno of Eatontown; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Joseph D. Walsh
Mr. Walsh, 81, of Middletown, died Oct. 28 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living, Middletown. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Hazlet and Roselle before moving to Shadow Lake Village, Middletown, four months ago. Mr. Walsh was a warehouseman at RCA, Clark, and Baxter Industries, Raritan Center, for 47 years, retiring in 1988. He was a communicant of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, where he was also an usher. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan, and a member of the National Fife & Drum Corps, Newark. He was predeceased by his wife, M. Alice Walsh, earlier this year; and 12 brothers and sisters. Mr. Walsh is survived by two sons, John D. Walsh of Princeton and Joseph W. Walsh of West Reading, Calif.; two daughters, Alice M. Eugene P. Holland
Mr. Holland, 78, of Shrewsbury, died Oct. 30 at Sycamore Assisted Living, Shrewsbury. He resided in Rumson and Fair Haven before moving to Shrewsbury. Mr. Holland was a salesman at Goodall Rubber Co., Rutherford, for 37 years, retiring in 1987. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Cornelia Steinert Holland, in 1999; and a sister, Rosemary Maher, in 1999. Mr. Holland is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter Holland of Somerset, James and Maggie Holland of Ridgewood, and Gregory and Madeline Holland of Colts Neck; three daughters and one son-in-law, Kathleen Holland of Denver, Patricia Holland of Boulder, Colo., and Elizabeth and Charles Komar of Rumson; two brothers, John Holland of Pine Beach and Robert Holland of Bedminster, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Marion M. McCarthy-Sexton
Mrs. McCarthy-Sexton, 92, of Bordentown, died Oct. 26. She grew up on the family farm on Sweetmans Lane in western Monmouth County, moving to Bordentown in 1958. Mrs. McCarthy was a teacher in the Shrewsbury and Freehold school districts. She was a 1933 graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Bordentown, and St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mrs. McCarthy-Sexton was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Sexton, in 1986, and two brothers, Robert McCarthy and Thomas McCarthy. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kim Sexton, and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial

Russell P. Minton Jr.
Mr. Minton, 53, of Ocean Grove, died Dec. 14 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. He was an ADS ads processor at the Asbury Park Press, Neptune, since 1990. Prior to that, he was employed at Central Jersey Bank, Long Branch, for several years. He enjoyed collecting political and military memorabilia. He was predeceased by his father, Russell P. Minton Sr. He is survived by his mother, Frances L. Minton, of Red Bank; a daughter, Stacey A. Mrs. White, 76, of Middletown, died Dec. 15. Born in Jersey City, she resided there prior to moving to Middletown six years ago. She was a retired clerk at Hudson County Welfare Department, where she was employed 15 years. She is survived by her former husband, Donald White of Ridgefield Park; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Dolores White Jr. of Glen Rock, Richard and Mary White of Kearny, and Robert and Ann White of Manalapan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Ilian of Chicago, and Janet and Gregory White-DePaul of Matawan; and eight grandchildren. John Joseph Little
Mr. Little, 83, of Brick, and Jupiter, Fla., died Nov. 27 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York, he resided in Red Bank, West Long Branch, and Jupiter, Fla., before moving to Brick in 1996. Mr. Little was an equipment specialist at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, before his retirement. He served with the U.S. Army from 1942-46. He was a member of the Long Branch Elks Lodge 742 and a member of the Long Branch Sportsman’s Club. Mr. Little was predeceased by his wife, Mary Critelli Little, in 1987; two brothers, William Little and Francis Little; and three sisters, Marion Eberle, Dorothy Fischer and Elizabeth Little. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Little of Wall; a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and David Enderly of the Wayside section of Ocean Township; his companion, Angelina Coppola of Brick; four grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law. Doris I. Carhart
Mrs. Carhart, 97, of Keyport, died Dec. 16 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. She resided in Holmdel prior to moving to Keyport. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edmund Carhart in 1979. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol J. McCann of Red Bank, and Anne and Ken Brinser of Keyport; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Lilyan Polloway
Mrs. Polloway, 85, of Holmdel, died Oct. 26 at the Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Hazlet. She had been a resident of Holmdel for the past 30 years. Mrs. Polloway owned and operated Polloway’s Restaurant, Newark, from 1958-66. Prior to that, she was employed at Dolly Madison and at Century 21. She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Polloway in 1975; a brother, Edward Kaczyski; and a sister, Stella Kaczyski. Ms. Polloway is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Carol Ann Polloway of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Helen Kowalski of Howell Township and Rose Kazalski of Union; and two grandchildren. Ronald E. Earley Sr.
Mr. Earley, 76, of Lexington, S.C., and formerly Sea Bright, died Nov. 6 at home. Born in Woodbury Heights, he resided in Sea Bright for 50 years prior to moving to Lexington in July. Following retirement, he was a crossing guard in Sea Bright. Prior to that, he was a civil engineer at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, retiring in 1970. He served honorably with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Sea Bright United Methodist Church. He was an ex-chief at the Sea Bright Fire Department, and an ex-captain at the Sea Bright First Aid Squad, from 1976-77 in both departments. He founded the Family Fire Safety Program, and was a Republican Committeeman for the 2nd District, Sea Bright. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothea Covert Earley in 2000. He is survived by a son, Ronald Earley Jr. of South Carolina; four daughters, Dawn Rose of Red Bank, Sheila Schwarz of Lexington, S.C., Rhonda Castello of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Christine Sanders of Eatontown; a brother, Kenneth Early of Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Nov. 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch. A Firemen’s service will be at 7:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Committal Services with Military Honors will be Nov. 17 at Farmingdale Evergreen Cemetery, Howell.
