Cecilia T. Hollywood
Mrs. Hollywood, 94, of Red Bank, died March 14 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had been a resident of Red Bank since 1948. Mrs. Hollywood was a homemaker. Prior to that, she was a secretary in New York City. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a past president of the St. James School PTA. Mrs. Hollywood was predeceased by her husband, George A. Hollywood, in 1983; a son, Andrew J. Hollywood; three sisters, Sister M. Martina, S.S.J., Catherine Chamberlin and Ann Young; and a brother, John Cogavin. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Maryalice Hollywood of Little Silver; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and William Oakerson of Middletown; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial
was celebrated at St. James Church. Interment
was at Presbyterian Church cemetery at Shrewsbury. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
Eugene R. Sweeney
Mr. Sweeney, 60, of Elizabeth, died Jan. 31 at Trinatas Hospital, Elizabeth. Born in Newark, he resided in Metuchen, Toms River, Old Bridge and Monroe Township before moving to Elizabeth six months ago. Mr. Sweeney was an engineer at Matthew Bendix Associates, New York City, the past year. He was a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. Mr. Sweeney is survived by two sons, Andrew of Boca Raton, Fla., and Matthew of Monroe Township; a daughter, Robin of Boca Raton; and a sister, Maureen Turiello of Red Bank. Interment

William Haines Sr.
Mr. Haines, 86, of Rumson, died Jan. 7 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Rahway. Mr. Haines was a manufacturing engineer at Regina Corp., Rahway, for 50 years. He also worked in several boat yards and built fishing boats. He created the Sea Bright skiff that is now displayed at Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, and won several medals for his model boats. He was a member of the American Ordinance Association, which awarded him a citation during World War II. Mr. Haines is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lillian; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Noreen Haines Jr. of Clark, and Jimmy and Lynne Haines of Fair Haven; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Arlene Laverne Bien Pyle
Mrs. Pyle, 84, of Freehold, died Feb. 20 at The Manor Nursing Home, Freehold Township. She resided in Tinton Falls before moving to Freehold eight years ago. Mrs. Pyle was an executive secretary at the Fort Monmouth Post Engineering Office, Eatontown, before her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Red Bank. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank John Bien, in 1968; and her second husband, Robert C. Pyle, in 1997. She is survived by two sons, John T. Bien of Freehold and Thomas H. Bien of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Ruth E. Finn of Freehold and Linda L. Brower of Ocean; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. The Braun Funeral Home, Eatontown, was in charge of arrangements.
Aliene L. Phillips
Mrs. Phillips, 85, of Rumson, died March 10 at home. Born in Neptune, she resided in Rumson the past 56 years. She was an IV therapist at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, retiring in 1983. Prior to that, she taught nursing at Monmouth Memorial Hospital Nursing School, Long Branch. She received a commendation certificate from the Surgeon General of the United States following World War II for her efforts in teaching and preparing nurses for military service during the war. She was an avid skier. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Christine Phillips of Waretown; a daughter, Joyce Borden Vernon of Rumson; a sister, Doris Hulshart of Waretown; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was at St. George’s by the River Episcopal Church, Rumson. Interment
was at Glendola Cemetery, Wall. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
Mary Frances Johannen
Mrs. Johannen, 54, of Little Silver, died Feb. 15 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided there before moving to Little Silver. Mrs. Johannen was a registered nurse and in-home practitioner for the Monmouth County Office of the Handicapped. She was also a volunteer counselor. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Mario Galliano. Mrs. Johannen is survived by her husband, Charles Johannen; three children, Donna Grillo of Old Bridge, Anthony Grillo of Freehold, and Chantall Grillo of Woodbridge; two stepsons and their wives, Colin and Alice Johannen, and Kevin and Megan Johannen; and four grandchildren. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
Anthony “Tony” Fiorentini
Mr. Fiorentini, 82, of Tinton Falls, died Feb. 4 at home. Born in Haverhill, Mass., he resided in West Long Branch prior to relocating to Tinton Falls two years ago. He was the owner and operator of Tony’s Salon, (later known as Hair Flair), Deal, for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He served his country honorable in the U.S. Army Air Force. He enjoyed golf, dancing, and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Arline Drazdowich Fiorentini in 2001. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Yvonne Fiorentini of Las Vegas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Laura Seuffert of Colts Neck, and Lisa and Michael Canessa of Wall; and seven grandchildren. Donald H. “Donnie” Pujals
Mr. Pujals, 62, of Tinton Falls, died Jan. 24 at Kensington Court Assisted Living, Tinton Falls. He resided in Hoboken and Red Bank most of his life. He was a stock specialist on the New York Stock Exchange for 40 years, retiring in 2001. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nanette M. Embres and William Kuzmin of Atlantic Highlands, and Michelle C. Pujals and James Bonner of Hoboken; a brother, Jonathan H. Pujals of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister; Melissa Kelley of Sarasota, Fla.; and one granddaughter. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Violet May Long
Mrs. Long, 90, of Red Bank, died Feb. 16 in Red Bank. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank. She was employed by Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, for 13 years before retiring. Mrs. Long was predeceased by her husband, Lester Samuel Long, in 1967. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Gail Long of Red Bank; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Christian Isaksen
Mr. Isaksen, 57, of the Belford section of Middletown, died Jan. 30 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen prior to moving to Belford 31 years ago. He was a truck driver at South Jersey Paving, Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen, where he has been employed 15 years. He also belonged to Local No. 469, Hazlet. He was predeceased by his father, William Isaksen. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen Rummell Isaksen; a son, Christian W. Isaksen of Keansburg; a daughter, Lori Michalski of Tinton Falls; his mother, Marie Isaksen of Aberdeen; three brothers, William Isaksen of Florida, Robert Isaksen of Aberdeen, and Eric Isaksen of Bayville; two sisters, Karen Tappin of Paterson, and Darlene Locoriere of Aberdeen; and three grandchildren. William F. Jimolka
Mr. Jimolka, 82, of Red Bank, died Feb. 18 at Avante at Red Bank. Born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., he was a longtime resident of Red Bank. Ms. Jimolka was predeceased by his wife, Helena Fredrick Jimolka, in 1989. Interment
