THOMAS R. BOHNYAK, 50, of Falls City, Ore., formerly of South River, died Sept. 16 at home. Surviving are his wife, Diane; a son, Thomas James "T.J."; his mother, Olga Bohnyak of Randolph, Vt.; a brother, William Bohnyak, also of Randolph; a sister, Julie Zielenkievicz of East Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in Dallas, Ore. Local arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gospel Mission Homeless Shelter, 437 Union St. NE, Salem, OR 97301.

VIOLET GOLDESKI, 76, of East Brunswick died Sept. 28 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a sister, Julia Wiederkehr of Ohio. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.

VICTOR "FUZZY" MUZYKA, 59, of South River died Sept. 25 in Mercy Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. Surviving are a son, Michael Muzyka of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills; two daughters, Tatiana Muzyka of East Brunswick and Natasha Muzyka Gadway of Johnsburg, N.Y.; his mother, Maria Shebalko of South River; a brother, Nicholas Muzyka of South River; and a granddaughter. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with a service at St. Euphrosynia Belarus Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

THOMAS E. SAWICKI, 74, of South River died Sept. 24 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Rita F. Mursky Sawicki; two sisters, Edna W. Medvetz of Carteret and Joan LaFerrara of Seaside Park; and many nieces and nephews. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Building Fund, 30 Jackson St., South River 08882.

PAUL M. ZAWADSKY, 87, of South River died Sept. 22 in Roosevelt Hospital, Edison. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Senko Zawadsky; a daughter, Nadia Silva; a brother, Peter Zawadsky; a godson, Paul Kissel Jr.; and a granddaughter. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with a service at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

GENEVIEVE POPOWSKI GAVRON, 89, of Sayreville died Sept. 24 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Zigmond Gavron, died in 1970. Surviving are a son, Raymond Gavron of South Carolina; four daughters, Sister Joan Gavron, R.S.M., Laverne Bauer and Mary Ann Gavron, both of Sayreville, and Doris Evanovich of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Estelle Lichtenstein of East Brunswick; seven grandchildren; and seven grandchildren. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus School Education Fund, MacArthur Avenue, Sayreville 08872.

LILLIE F. PIVIROTTO MORAN, 70, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Sept. 27 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Frederick C. Moran, died in 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Biancamano of Spotswood; a son, Brian Moran of Millstone; two brothers, Lawrence and Norman Pivirotto, both of Pittsburgh; and five grandchildren. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, Parlin. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Old Bridge. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Oncology Unit, 245 Easton Ave., New Brunswick 08901.

VERA E. BUCKALEW TWARDOS, 75, of Sayreville died Sept. 25 at home. Her husband, Edward Twardos, died in 1986. Surviving are two sons, Edward Twardos Jr. of Spotswood and John Twardos of Temperance, Mich.; five daughters, Margaret Kuchta of Jamesburg, Joan Vargo of Sayreville, Judith Farnish of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, Roseann Jadczak of Oakfield, Tenn., and Lettitia Wanson of East Brunswick; two sisters, Joan Benson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Phyllis Stann of Clearwater, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, with a service at Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

JAMES PATRICK CAMPBELL JR., 68, of Old Bridge died Sept. 26 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Anita Pisaneschi Campbell; a daughter, Susan Marie Campbell of Old Bridge; two sons, James P. Campbell III of the Somerset section of Franklin and Michael J. Campbell of Alexandria Township; a brother, Thomas Campbell of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Maryjo Popson of Wilkes Barre, Pa.; and two grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

EVELYN MAE HEIMEL COYLE, 74, of South Amboy died Sept. 23 at home. Surviving are her husband, Harry D. Coyle; a son, Harold W. Coyle of Fairfax, Va.; two daughters, Leslie Ann Coyle of Sayreville and Jacqueline Vlahos of Woodbridge; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a requiem Eucharist at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Memorial Foundation of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 183 Rector St., Perth Amboy 08861.
