JOSEPHINE R. WILUS KRACZYK, 96, of South River died Nov. 19 in McCarrick Care Center, Somerset section of Franklin. Prior to her retirement in 1969, she was employed for 37 years as a home economics teacher in the South River school system. Her husband, Dr. Michael Kraczyk, died in 1974. Surviving are a dear friend, Helen Lonczak of South River, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass planned for Nov. 22 at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Interment
will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
ROSALIN SEIDEN MARKS, 92, of Richmond, Va., formerly of East Brunswick, died Nov. 17 in Our Lady of Hope Health Center, Richmond. Her husband, Jack Marks, died in 1979, and a son, Bernard Marks, died in 1975. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Jean Goldman of Richmond; a brother, Milton Seiden of Monroe; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment

BETTY ANN KERWIN REDFIELD, 58, of the Rossmoor adult community in Monroe died Nov. 14 at home. Surviving are her husband, William; a sister, Joan Rutherford; a brother, Thomas Kerwin of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton; nine nieces and nephews; and five great-nephews. MICHAEL VASS, 81, of Orange, Calif., formerly of South River, died Nov. 15 at home. Surviving are a son, Michael Vass Jr. of Orange; a brother, Alex Vass of South River; a sister, Julia Yarusinsky of South River; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in California. Local arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
JOHN JOSEPH KUNTNE, 75, of East Brunswick, formerly of Sayreville, died Nov. 13 in JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. He served for 35 years on the Sayreville Board of Health. His first wife, Gloria Denby Kuntne, died in 1979. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Roselli Hoffman Kuntne; two daughters, Karen Woodward of Norwich, Vt. and Nancy Montefusco of Goldsboro, N.C.; a stepson, Louis Hoffman of Stafford, Va.; a stepdaughter, Alma Lesinski of Sayreville; two sisters, Florita Stankiewicz and Rose Dentz, both of Sayreville; and nine grandchildren. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
EVELYN T. PRONGAY MURPHY, 80, of East Brunswick died Nov. 14 at home. Her husband, Robert A. Murphy, died in 1996. Surviving are a son, Robert J. of East Brunswick; four daughters, Rose E. Napoli of Old Bridge, Joan A. Riha of Ridgefield, Conn., Barbara J. DeHart of Derry, N.H. and Janet M. of East Brunswick; a brother, Harold Prongay of Edison; a sister, Agnes Tant of Jersey City; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 23 nieces and nephews. CLETUS W. "BILL" NEALIS, 84, of Jamesburg died Nov. 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Edna C. Reese Nealis, died in 1992. Surviving are a son, William A. Nealis of Monroe; two daughters, Barbara Landreth of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge and Donna Cater of Jamesburg; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services are planned for Nov. 22 at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Entombment will follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River section of Dover. WILLIAM J. ALLEN JR., 69, of Sayreville died Nov. 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Rick. Allen III of Biloxi, Miss., and Michael and Larry French, both of Sayreville; a daughter, Charleen McCormick of Sayreville; a sister, June Gritkowski of Plymouth, Pa.; five brothers, Robert Allen of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Bruce Allen of Plymouth, Richard Allen of South Bound Brook, Gene Cordick of the Toms River section of Dover and David Allen of Ocean View, Del.; and two grandchildren.
