JOHN WILLIAM JENSEN, 72, of Freehold Township died April 4 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Sayreville for 38 years before moving to Freehold Township in 1992. A graduate of New York University, Mr. Jensen was employed as an underwriting analyst for Kemper Insurance Co., Summit, for more than 30 years before retiring in 1992. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church of South Amboy; a board member of the Sayreville Library; and a former member of the Free and Accepted Masons Star of Hope Lodge 430, Queens, N.Y. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Rose (LaBarca) Jensen; his son, Peter of Batavia, Ill.; three daughters, Susan Nistico of Linwood, Jeananne Jensen of Newtown, Pa., and Kathryn Macchiaverna of Tinton Falls; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
MARGARET BONES PEYTON, 89, of Great Falls, Va., and formerly of Old Bridge, died April 2 in Restin, Va. Her husband, Thomas J. Peyton, died in 1979. Surviving are a son, Thomas J. Peyton of Great Falls; a daughter, Margaret M. Costello of Marlboro; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Burial was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
HARRY A. SCHNUCK, 67, of Old Bridge died April 3 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Keller Schnuck; a daughter, Deborah Schnuck of Matawan; two aunts, Helen Alt of the Morganville section of Marlboro and Aurelia Schulmeister of Matawan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements were under the direction of Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, with services at First Baptist Church, Matawan. Interment
was in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church, 232 Main St., Matawan 07747.
HENRY J. VEIGA of East Brunswick died April 2 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. A son, Henry Veiga Jr., died in 1986. Surviving are his wife, Mary Skoudris Veiga; two sons, Peter of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge and Robert of East Brunswick; and a brother, Manuel of Alabama. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment
was in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
WALTER A. HRANOWSKI, 86, of South Amboy, died March 26 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Mary Halasiewicz Hranowski; a son, Walter E. Hranowski of South Amboy; three daughters, Carol Maciorowski of South Amboy, Frances Kovach of Parlin, and Mary Ann Cannizzaro of Sayreville; a brother, Stanley Hranowski of South River; a sister, Lily Palczenski of South River; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Services were under the direction of Kurzawa Funeral Home of South Amboy with a Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Interment
was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
GEORGE C. AGNER, 87, of East Brunswick died April 3 in Park Place Center, South Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Ida Bogdanffy Agner; two sons, George of Barberville, Fla., and Ronald of East Brunswick; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with services at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Interment

ROSE GERGELY GHILINO, 83, of Highland Park died April 5 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, in 1994, and a brother, Andrew Gergely. Surviving are a brother, Stephen; a sister, Julia Istvan of North Brunswick; and a nephew, William Lupinacci of East Brunswick. Services were under the direction of the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Burial was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
ROSEMARIE L. SAMUEL BLASZKA, 60, of Sayreville died March 28 at home. Surviving are her husband, Edward; a daughter, Sharon Di Santo of South River; three sons, Allan of Croydon, Pa., and Kevin and Timothy, both of Sayreville; a sister, Laura Gutkowski of Sayreville; three brothers, Joseph Samuel of South Amboy, Peter Samuel of Manalapan and Edward Samuel of Sayreville; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
VIRGINIA A. CASAMASINO, 82, of Seaside Heights died March 30 in Community Medical Center, Toms River section of Dover. Her first husband, Theodore Colterelli, died in 1968. Surviving are her husband, Samuel P. Casamasino; two sons, Claude Colterelli of Edison and Theodore Colterelli of Middletown; a daughter, Rosalind McBride of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a sister, Theresa Besante of Seaside Heights; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
STEPHEN D. DEVINE, 34, of Sayreville died March 23 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a son, Stephen M. Devine; his mother, Rona Catalfumo; his father, Stephen Devine; a brother, Alfred Catalfumo; five sisters, Regina Chodak, LeeAnn O’Rourke, Erin Gray, Rona Aguilar and Mariea Catalfumo; an aunt, Iris Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
