KAREN M. HANSEN, 92, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died March 29 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was predeceased by her husband, Emil. Surviving are a son, Lester Hansen; a daughter, Audrey Mulholland; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with memorial services at Franklin Memorial Park.
JENNA LYNN LOFTUS, infant daughter of Jeffrey and Barbara Loftus of Sayreville, died March 21 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. In addition to her parents, surviving are a brother, Jeffrey James, and a sister, Jessica Laura; her paternal grandfather, John F. Loftus of Seaside Park; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment

MARY PRASCHAK SLOMKOWSKI, 83, of Old Bridge died March 31 at home. Her husband, Sigmund Slomkowski, died in 1968, and a son, Michael Slomkowski, died in 1991. Surviving are a son, Sigmund of Princeton; two daughters, Regina Wiklanski of Piscataway and Marian Gattsek of Freehold; a brother, Paul Praschak of Pennsylvania; a sister, Anna Zuder of Maryland; and five grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
MARY POLLARD REDFORD UNDERWOOD, 92, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died March 31 in Roosevelt Care Center Edison. Her first husband, Morris Redford, died in 1929, and her second husband, Thomas E. Underwood, died in 1986. Surviving are a son, Robert A. Redford of Parlin; a daughter, Shirley Underwood Meirose of Sayreville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a service at First Presbyterian Church of Sayreville. Interment
was in New Calvary Cemetery, Sayreville.
ALOYSIUS F. WITKOWSKI of South Amboy died April 1 at home. He was predeceased by a daughter, Monica Witkowski. Surviving are his wife, Cecile A. Wyluda Witkowski; a brother, Eugene Witkowski of South Amboy; and two sisters, Julia Jurewicz and Irene Auagliono, both of South Amboy. Services were arranged by Carmen F. RUSSELL JEFFRAY, 77, of South River died April 2 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Margaret Fisher Jeffray, died in 1993. Surviving are two sons, William Russell Jeffray of Manasquan and Patrick Jeffray of Manalapan; three daughters, M. Anita Hermstedt and Michelle Perkin, both of South River, and Hope Morlino of the Fords section of Woodbridge; two stepbrothers, Jack Strincoski of Old Bridge and James Strincoski of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge; a stepsister, Rose Lois Szabo of South River; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass planned for April 5 at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Cremation will be private.
