ROBERT B. STEINER, 78, of South Amboy died March 19 in Madison Care Center, Old Bridge. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Lee G. and Veronica Manhattan Steiner of South Amboy. Services were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a Mass planned for March 23 at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment

LORETTA C. BURNS SUTLIFF, 98, of South Amboy died March 18 in Carriage House Manor, Morgan section of Sayreville. Her husband, Charles J., died in 1960. Surviving are a son, James C. of Ridgewood, and three grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with a Mass planned for March 22 at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment

JOAN TOEGEL, 66, of Old Bridge died March 14 in The Medical Center at Princeton. She was predeceased by a son, Herbert, and a daughter, Susan Toegel. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey of Ansonia, Conn.; a daughter, Karen Wilhour of Baldwin, Md.; a brother, Joseph Sefack of Manasquan; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville section of Marlboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
RAYMOND R. WISNIEWSKI, 77, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died March 16 in South Jersey Hospital-Newcomb, Vineland. Surviving are two brothers, Andrew of Parlin and Philip of Sayreville, and many nieces and nephews. Services were arranged by Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment
was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
EDWARD H. MEIROSE, 71, of Sayreville died March 13 at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an account representative for WCTC-AM Radio, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Underwood Meirose; two sons, Thomas E. Meirose and Edward H. Meirose, both of South River; a sister, Ruth Ann Warden of Sayreville; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment
was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
GLADYS DODD LAUDIEN, 79, of Old Bridge died March 14 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Harold F. Laudien; five sons, Harold Laudien of Pennsylvania, William Laudien of Jackson, Walter Laudien of Monroe, Lawrence Laudien of Sayreville and David Laudien of Farmingdale; a daughter, Martha Edelman of Sayreville; two brothers, David Dodd of Georgia and Mickey Dodd of Waretown; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
LEONA J. GWIZDAK GEORGIANA, 67, of Sayreville died March 15 at home. Her husband, Frank J. Georgiana, died in 1971. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey F. Georgiana of Old Bridge; two brothers, John Gwizdak of Sayreville and Edward Gwizdak of East Brunswick; two sisters, Anna Gwizdak and Stella Gwizdak, both of Sayreville; and two grandsons. Services were arranged by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville, with a Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
ROSA A. MIRANDA CANTOS, 67, of East Brunswick died March 14 at home. Surviving are four sons, Luis F. Cantos and Luis G. Cantos, both of Queens, N.Y., Marcos A. Cantos of Long Island, N.Y., and Ricardo J. Cantos of New York; two daughters, Rosa E. Perdomo of East Brunswick and Pilar Franco of Queens; and nine grandchildren. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. John the Baptist Church, New Brunswick. Interment
was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
EMILIE SCHULMAN, 64, of Freehold Township, died April 5 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Roselle Park before moving to Freehold Township five years ago. Mrs. Schulman was employed as a cashier at Acme Supermarkets, Union, for 24 years before her retirement five years ago. Surviving are her husband, Reuben; her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Tom Shanahan of Freehold Township; her sister, Elaine Kopp of Freehold; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by burial at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus.
ROBERT MATTHEW RIORDAN, 69, of the Morganville section of Marlboro, died April 4 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New York City, he had resided in the Bronx, N.Y., before moving to Morganville 32 years ago. Mr. Riordan was employed as a municipal bond trader in New York City, retiring in 1995. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, Marlboro. Mr. Riordan was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald. Surviving are his wife, Eileen (Costello) Riordan; his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Mary Beth Riordan of Tinton Falls; two daughters and a son-in-law Maryanne Riordan of Morganville, and Eileen and James Whitney of Millstone Township; two brothers, Matthew of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dennis of Fishkill, N.Y.; two sisters, Barbara Stefanak of Danbury, Conn., and Patricia Smith of Goshen, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
