Philomena Andolfi
Mrs. Andolfi, 89, of Keyport, died Nov. 26 at the Geraldine Thompson Nursing Home, Wall Township. Born in Holmdel, she had resided in Matawan before moving to Keyport 50 years ago. Mrs. Andolfi was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, John Andolfi, in 1978; and five brothers, Patrick, John, Michael Amelio and Dominick Eovino. Mrs. Andolfi is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Patricia Andolfi of Old Bridge, and John and Susan Andolfi of Frenchtown; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Eovino of Matawan and Lorraine Eovino of Tinton Falls; and five grandchildren. was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, followed by interment at the parish cemetery. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
Robert G. Wissel
Mr. Wissel, 66, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, died Nov. 23 at home following a battle with brain cancer. He was raised in Florham Park. He was employed in sales and marketing for several companies, including Land O’Lakes, Stouffer Chemical, and Tenneco. He also worked part time at Mark Sternberg, CPA, Matawan. Mr. Wissel served with the U.S. Army from 1962-65. He was a member of New Monmouth Baptist Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown, and a member of the Men’s Bible Study Fellowship at Lincroft Methodist Church. Mr. Wissel is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly Schimler Wissel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Robert Artale of Lincroft, and Jennifer and Joseph Dondero of Atlantic Highlands; two brothers, Conrad Wissel of Mountainside and Donald Wissel of Rumson; and one grandson. A funeral service was held at New Monmouth Baptist Church, followed by interment at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements. Christopher W. Bloom
Mr. Bloom, 31, of Marion, Ohio, and formerly Little Silver, died Nov. 19 at home. Born in Long Branch, he resided in Little Silver for more than 28 years prior to moving to Marion. He was a mechanic at Taylor Towing, Marion. He is survived by his parents, Sandra and Michael Bloom; a son and daughter, Christopher and Brianna; a brother, Troy of Little Silver; a sister, Carrie Giles of Eatontown; his grandmother, Marjorie Olsen of Little Silver; two nieces and one nephew. Carmella M. West
Mrs. West, 53, of Tinton Falls, died Oct. 24 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Long Branch, she resided in Tinton Falls the past 25 years. She was a retired nurse’s aide at Hilltop Nursing Home, Middletown. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed bingo, sightseeing and shopping. She was predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Gemma Salatino Gelso. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert West; a sister, Julie Ballard of Long Branch; and a nephew and niece. Eunice Katherine Champi
Mrs. Champi, 92, of Atlantic Highlands, died Nov. 12 in Red Bank. She was a secretary at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for 45 years, retiring in 1985. Prior to that, she worked for the U.S. Government in various cities during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands. She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Lyons of the Navesink section of Middletown, Ida Schilk of Mercerville, and Anne Stolarz of South Plainfield; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Susan Rose Russo
Miss Russo, 54, of Red Bank, died Dec. 1 at home. She was a consultant at AT&T;, Middletown. Prior to that, she was an information technologist at AT&T;, as well as Lucent Technologies, World Partners and Business Edge Solutions, where she was employed 23 years. She received her bachelor’s degree at City University of New York, and was pursuing advanced studies in the field of geographic information systems. She was a member of the Monmouth Art Alliance, and exhibited her work in local galleries and publications. She also sang at the Red Bank Jazz and Blues Festival, and played several instruments. An avid environmentalist, she coordinated a tree preservation project in Red Bank. She was an accomplished enjoyed nature photographer. She is survived by her parents, Mary and Tony Russo of Fishkill, N.Y.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and C.B. Douglas of Patterson, N.Y., and JoAnne and Ray Reinhardt of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; a niece; and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial

Thelma G. Cremeans
Mrs. Cremeans, 84, of Red Bank, died Nov. 11 at home. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she resided in Little Silver before moving to Red Bank a year ago. Mrs. Cremeans was a bookkeeper at The Cellar, Fair Haven, where she was employed several years. She was the only female member of the New York Philharmonic when she was in her early 20s. Mrs. Cremeans was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cremeans, in March; a son, John Cremeans, in 1997; two grandchildren, Amber and Joseph Sebolt in 1983; and her twin brother, Earl Bartell, in October. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Patti Cremeans of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy McNamara of Freehold; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Audrey Bartell of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Gevena Cremeans of Middletown; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. William T. Story
Mr. Story, 98, of Red Bank, died Nov. 11 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Holmdel, he had resided in Marlboro and Englishtown before moving to Red Bank in 1914. Mr. Story was employed in the maintenance department at Red Bank Regional High School, Red Bank, retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Tinton Falls. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Mr. Story was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Veary Story, in 1980; a son, William C. Story, in 2001; a sister, Dorothy Smith; a brother, Kenneth Story; and a daughter-in-law, Carol R. Story, in 1999. He is survived by three grandchildren, Cheryl Smith and her husband Eric of Oceanport, Tammie Story Smith and her husband Tom of Opelika, Ala., and Thomas W. Story and his wife P.J. of Little Silver; and eight great-grandchildren. Interment

Agnes M. Jannarone
Mrs. Jannarone, 92, of Red Bank, died Nov. 18 at Waterford Glen, Wall Township. Born in Liverpool, England, she resided in Boston, Newark, Nutley, Linwood and Hazlet, prior to moving to Red Bank. A registered nurse, she recorded patient histories at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, and one of the founding individuals to open the hospital in 1962. Following that, she volunteered at the hospital from 1972 to the present. She served in several positions with the hospital’s auxiliary, and was an organizer of the Hazlet Auxiliary. She was a former communicant of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Thomas Jannarone, in 1986. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-la, Thomas and Arlene Jannarone of Point Pleasant, A. James and Dorothy K. Jannarone of Manasquan, and William Jannarone of Vineland; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Dale Colman of Pleasantville, Alicia and David Price of Irvine, Calif., and Agnes and Warren Gordon of Danville, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Kay Jannarone; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Antonietta Mustillo
Mrs. Mustillo, 90, of Red Bank, died Nov. 19 at Columbus Hospital, Newark. Born in Casacalenda, Italy, she resided in Red Bank for more than 35 years. She was a homemaker, and seamstress who made her own clothing. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She enjoyed cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Valentino Mustillo. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Luigi and Carol Mustillo of Union, and Corrado and Maria Mustillo of Milltown; a brother, Enzo DeSantis of Montreal; two sisters, Consiglia and Maria DeSantis, both of Italy; and six grandchildren.
