CARMINE JOHN PREZIOSI, 72, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown died Sept. 24 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Druckenmiller Preziosi, in 1994. Surviving are a son, Steven Preziosi of North Wales, Pa.; a daughter, Linda Preziosi of Ocean Township; a sister, Assunta Gibbard of East Brunswick; and a granddaughter. A funeral liturgy will be offered at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 27 at St. Mary’s Church, New Monmouth. Entombment will follow at Fair View Mausoleum, Middletown. CHARLES VISLOCKY JR., 65, of East Brunswick died Sept. 20 at home. Surviving are his wife, Julia Lysachok Vislocky; a son, Kenneth C. Vislocky of Mendham; a daughter, Lori Vislocky of New York City; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Catholic Church, Somerset section of Franklin. Interment
was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
MARY KORMOS WILLIAMS, 84, of Marlboro died Sept. 19 at home. Her husband, Stanford F. Williams, died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, John of Marlboro and Joseph of Monroe; and three daughters, Mary Farley of Monroe, Anna Williams of Freehold and Susan Williams of Marlboro. A Mass was offered at St. Gabriel’s Church, Marlboro. Interment
was in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.
MARTIN CHODA-PODOLSKY, 65, of Old Bridge, died Sept. 25 at home. Surviving are a daughter, Maria Snell of Elizabeth; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro.
JOHN "JACK" GRAY, 72, of Old Bridge died Sept. 28 at home. Surviving are his wife, Louise Hawes Gray; his mother, Rose Murphy Gray of Lumberton; a brother, Bruce Conrad of Lumberton; two sons and one daughter, all of Pennsylvania; and 10 grandchildren. ELIZABETH "BETTY" GARVEY HUBAND, 81, of Sayreville died Sept. 28 in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her husband, Philip, died in 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Brown of Sayreville; a sister, Estelle Coupe of Bayville; a brother, Andrew Garvey of Highland Lakes; and a grandson. Cremation was private.
HEDWIG WALAS SUMSKI, 95, of Sterling, Pa., formerly of Sayreville, died Sept. 25 in Julia Rabaudo Care Center, Lake Ariel, Pa. Her husband, Stanley A. Sumski, died in 1985. Surviving are a son, Joseph S. Sumski of South Amboy; a daughter, Dorothy Rech of Sterling; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
RAYMOND M. TRAVINSKI, 70, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Sept. 29 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Dorothy Novak Travinski, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Atlantic City and Martin of Old Bridge; three daughters, Diane Dominick of the Brick Town section of Brick, Linda Novak of Parlin and Dorothy Bressman of Brick; a brother, Daniel Travinski of Parlin; a sister, Gloria Dehnz of South Amboy; and 12 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment
was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
CHRISTOPHER MORE DINCUFF, 31, of Jersey City, formerly of South River, died Sept. 11 in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, New York City. He was employed as a commodities trader by Carr Futures, New York City. Surviving are his mother, Joan Dincuff of South River; his father, Frank, and his stepmother, Eileen of Piscataway; two sisters, Beth of North Brunswick and Amy, at home; a brother, Ian of Piscataway; his grandmothers, Helen Rojek and Helen Dincuff, both of South River; his aunts, uncles and cousins; and by his fiancée, Angela Gutermuth, whom he planned to marry in September 2002. A memorial Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. A ceremony of life followed in the church pastoral center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher M. CHARLES G. COSTELLO JR., 46, of Old Bridge died Sept. 11 in the collapse of the World Trade Center, New York City. He was a member of International Union of Elevators Constructors Local No. 1, New York City. Surviving are his wife, Mary Norton Costello; a son, Charles G. Costello III of Old Bridge; three daughters, Amanda, Mary Kate and Theresa, all of Old Bridge; his father, Charles G. Costello Sr. of Old Bridge; a brother, Raymond Costello of Hazlet; two sisters, Kathy Birch of Brick and Patricia Ann Costello of Virginia Beach, Va. A memorial Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. A remembrance followed at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Old Bridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
