OLGA BOSKO BOYLER, 87, of Sayreville died Sept. 18 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Walter, died in 1976. Surviving are a son, Walter Boyler of Manahawkin; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River, with services at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Whitehead Avenue, South River 08882.

IRENE ACKERMAN CABRERA, 73, of East Brunswick died Sept. 21 at home. A grandson, Joaquin Cabrera, died in 1994. Surviving are her husband, Arthur Cabrera; six sons, Arthur Cabrera Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y., Frank Cabrera of Pocono, Pa., Clifford Cabrera and Joseph Cabrera, both of East Brunswick, Michael Cabrera of the Dayton section of South Brunswick and Mark Cabrera of Milltown; three daughters, Dolores Sloat of East Brunswick, Denise Gerres of South River and Nancy Guerro of Allentown, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Helen Ackerman of Brooklyn and Frances Smallman of Highland Park; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services were arranged by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Association.

CAROLINE MILLER CIAK, 87, of East Brunswick died Sept. 21 at home. Surviving are her husband, Albin; a son, John of the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold; a daughter, Linda of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Building Fund, 30 Jackson St., South River 08882.

ANNA R. CURNAN GREENBERG, 83, of East Brunswick died Sept. 21 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Greenberg. Surviving are a brother, Hugh J. Curnan of Old Bridge; a sister, Catherine Murphy of Vaneta, Ore.; one niece and seven nephews; and a great-niece and a great-nephew. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey, 37 W. Prospect St., East Brunswick 08816.

ROSE POLOWCZYK JANAS, 85, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, formerly South Amboy and the Morgan section of Sayreville, died Sept. 19 in Old Bridge Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Aloysius, and a son, Bernard Janas. Surviving are two sons, Aloysius F. Yanas of Barnegat and Thomas Janas of Morgan; two sisters, Annie Dittman and Margaret Mazur, both of Florida; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services were arranged by Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Cremation was private.

CHARLES A. JOHNSON, 89, of South Amboy died Sept. 18 in Carriage House Manor, Morgan section of Sayreville. His wife, Louise Hoover Johnson, died in 1955. Surviving are two sisters, Norma Colucci of South Amboy and I. Lillian Chia of Norfolk, Va.; and two nephews and two nieces. Arrangements were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy, with requiem Eucharist at Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

CARL MANGINO, 85, of East Brunswick, formerly of Old Bridge and the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 16 in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield. His wife, Anna Frost Mangino, died in 1979. Surviving are two daughters, Ann Marie O’Leary of the Toms River section of Dover and Catherine Todd of East Brunswick; a brother, Anthony Mangino of New York City; three sisters, Josephine Stack of Middletown, Ann Innes of Farmingdale, N.Y., and Kathryn Busweiler of Clearwater, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Bartholomew Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 299 Cherry Hill Road, Suite 305, Parsippany 07054.

VERA McMAHON, 100, of Old Bridge died Sept. 17 in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, Edison. Surviving are three nieces, Joan Wynne of Old Bridge, Gloria Javor of Clinton, Conn., and Caroline Rosenauer of Buffalo, N.Y.; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Services were arranged by Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, with a Mass at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made for Masses or to Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, 1 Roosevelt Drive, Edison 08837.

ELEANOR M. JONES, 72, of South Amboy died Sept. 16 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are her husband, Emerson W. Jones Jr.; a son, Emerson III of South Amboy; three sisters, Ruth Copeland, Florence Payne of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dorothy Brugger of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and a granddaughter. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville. Interment was in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Old Bridge.

VALERIE LYNN KOTFILA, 51, of Old Bridge died Sept. 14 at home. Surviving are her husband, Peter Grohmann; and two sisters, Lisa Howell and Marla Taylor, both of California. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
