STELLA P. NAGY, 81, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown died Dec. 14 at home. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Atlantic Highlands and the East Keansburg section of Middletown prior to moving to Port Monmouth 20 years ago. She was a machine operator for Precision Casting Tool & Die, Middletown, for 15 years, retiring 19 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, East Keansburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Barney K. Lowrey in 1967. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Alice Lowrey of Port Monmouth; three sisters, Helen Vermeulen of Clifton, Frances Salva of Belleville, and Lottie Olear of Whiting; two brothers, Henry Motacki of Belleville, and Stanley Motacki of Midland Park; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, East Keansburg. Burial was at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown.
EDWARD JOSEPH LEJEUNE, 19, of Farmingdale died Dec. 13 at home. Born in Neptune, he had lived in Brielle before moving to Farmingdale 16 years ago. He was employed at George Harms Construction, Farmingdale. He was a 2001 graduate of Howell High School, where he was captain of the school’s wrestling team. He is survived by his parents, Joseph E. and Linda Lejeune of Farmingdale; a brother, Joseph of Farmingdale; two sisters, Regina Brewster of Forked River and Mary Lejeune of Wanamassa; his paternal grandmother, Anna Lejeune of Howell; and his maternal grandmother, Doris Dugan of Hazlet. The funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Farmingdale. Memorial contributions may be made to C.O.S.A.C Memorial Fund. JOSEPH GORNY, 75, of Middletown died Dec. 14 at home. Born in Kaczmirska, Poland, he resided in Middletown the past 34 years. He was a self-employed builder. He was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Pulaski Cadets, Melodia Choir, and ZPA Club, all Perth Amboy. He is survived by his wife, Frances Miczko Gorny of Middletown; his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Susan Gorny; his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Gary Vetre; his brother, Alexander Gorny of Poland; and one granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment
was at Mount Olivet Cemetery

CHRISTINIA MARIE NUCCIO, 45, of Lakewood died Dec. 1 at home after a long illness. She was born in Jersey City and had lived in Matawan before moving to Lakewood 19 years ago. She was a legal secretary for Lomurro, Davison, Eastman and Munoz, Freehold Township. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood; a member of the Monmouth Legal Secretaries Association; and was an accomplished equestrian rider with the Haskell Pony Club of Monmouth County. She is predeceased by her mother, Marilyn DiGeronimo, who died in 1969, and her son, Michael R. Nuccio, who died in 1989. Surviving are her father and his wife, William and Joan DiGeronimo of Aberdeen; two sisters, Joyce Jackson of the Forked River section of Lacey, and Mariellen DiGeronimo of Freehold; three nieces; a nephew; and Christopher Schnebel, her companion of 19 years with whom she lived. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood. Interment
was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
PATRICIA ANN WEGMANN, 62, of Holmdel died Nov. 18 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in Detroit, she lived in Middletown prior to moving to Holmdel in 1994. She was a retired receptionist for I.V.C. Industries, Freehold, where she worked for several years. Prior to that, she was a claims adjuster for four years at First Option Health Plan, Red Bank. She was a communicant of St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. She was an active volunteer, assisting with the Sharing Network, as well as the Sisters of Charity and the Albert Music Hall, Waretown. She is survived by five daughters, Jacqueline Mc Hale of Bellevue, Neb., Maureen Squeo of the Belford section of Middletown, Chris Dosil of Howell, Tricia Kupstas of New Port Richey, Fla., and Carol Calabro of Houston; her son, Richard Wegmann of Houston; 16 grandchildren; and her dear friend, Frank Daniels of the West Keansburg section of Hazlet. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
RUTH ANN PIZZI, 62, of Hazlet died Nov. 25 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Cliffwood, she resided in Matawan before moving to Hazlet 15 years ago. She was a secretary for Perth Amboy Radiology, retiring in 1996. Prior to that, she worked for Farmer’s Merchant Bank in Cliffwood and Matawan. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She is survived by two brothers, Alfred Pizzi of Hazlet and Albert Pizzi of Florida; and three sisters, Carmella Cavagnaro of Matawan, Victoria Scalzo of Florida, and Philomena Gural of Toms River. A funeral service will be held Nov. 28 at 9:15 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport, followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
THEODOSIA "TESS" WALLING, 84, of the Belford section of Middletown died Nov. 25 at home. Born in Nanticoke, Pa., she lived in Belford the past 48 years. She was a clerk for several retail stores in Campbell’s Junction, Belford, for many years, as well as a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. She was a member of the Port Monmouth First Aid Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Walling, in 1975. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James P. and Norma Walling of Middletown; her daughter and son-in-law, Veronica and Maynord Barthelme of Hillsborough; and four grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be Nov. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
NETTIE E. DeMARCO, 95, of Hazlet died Nov. 25 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, she resided in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown prior to moving to Hazlet 20 years ago. She was a homemaker, as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2179, Port Monmouth. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband Liberator DeMarco in 1987. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and Joseph Ferrante of Hazlet, and three grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be Nov. 28 at 8:15 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, followed by a funeral liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
JAMES H. CLARK, 70, of Middletown died Nov. 13 at home. Born in Keansburg, he resided in Middletown for several years. He was a retired supervisor for Jersey Central Power & Light, South Amboy, where he worked for several years. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his wife, Gina Roncace Clark in 1996, and his sister, Florence Becker.
