BOB BORRE, 71, of Spotswood died Nov. 14 at home. Surviving are his wife, Doris Rogers Borre; four daughters, Linda Tirone and Dara Borre, both of the Avenel section of Woodbridge, Robin Sedlak of the Sewaren section of Woodbridge and Melissa Grilli of Middletown; seven brothers, Carl of Edison, George of Hazlet, Leo of Basking Ridge, Kenneth of Piscataway, Willard of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., William of the Parlin section of Sayreville and James of Noken, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

LOUISE LAURO SOCCODATO, 90, of Sayreville died Nov. 16 at home. Her husband, Vincenzo R. Soccodato, died in 1988. Surviving are a son, Nicholas Soccodato of Sayreville; two daughters, Antoinette Leoncini of Parlin and Madeline Bianco of Raleigh Durham, N.C.; a brother, James Lauro of Matawan; three sisters, Nancy Lopez of Matawan, Jane Artelli of Keyport and Anna DePolito of Woodbridge; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

WILLIAM C. CONNORS, 76, of Freehold died Nov. 23 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Hudson, N.Y., he lived in Middletown for 32 years before moving to Freehold two years ago. He was a national sales manager for the National Distillers & Chemical Corp., New York City, where he was employed for 36 years, retiring 13 years ago. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Raider Association; the U.S. Marine 6th Division Association; American Legion Post No. 168, Red Bank; a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6712, Massachusetts; a life member of Disabled American Veterans; and a member of Cpl. Philip A. Reynolds Detachment Marine Corps League, Freehold. He was a member of the Beacon Hill Country Club, Atlantic Highlands; a past exalted ruler, Elks Lodge No. 233, Red Bank; a member of the Happy Days String Band; and a musician with Sal Michael’s Music Makers. He was also a part-time employee of Hominy Hill Golf Course, Colts Neck. He is survived by his wife, Alice; three sons and a daughter-in-law, James Connors of Boynton Beach, Fla., William and Lori Connors of Lakeworth, Fla., and William Mergner of Readers, Pa.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane and Eric Atherton of Middletown, and Maureen Stewart of Middletown; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Memorial donations may be made to Red Bank Elks No. 233, 40 W. Front St., Red Bank 07701.

VINCENT G. SHRECK, 60, of Millsboro, Del., died Nov. 20 at BeeBe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., he had lived in Manalapan for 30 years before moving to Millsboro in 1999. He was a union carpenter for Local 2250, Red Bank, and Local 20, Staten Island, retiring in 1998. He was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Englishtown. He was a former chief of the Roberstville Fire Department, Marlboro; and an exempt member of the Gordons Corner Fire Company, Manalapan. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cynthia and Dr. Allen Ongsiako of Holmdel, Andrea and William Clauser of Point Pleasant, and Debra Shreck of East Windsor; his mother, Jeanne Shreck of Freehold Township; a sister, Lynda Curcio of Freehold Township; and six grandchildren. The Rev. Linda Robinson officiated at the funeral services.

GRACE LEONE FAVALORO, 83, of the Lincroft section of Middletown died Nov. 3 at Avanti at Red Bank. Born in New York City, she lived in the New Monmouth section of Middletown before moving to Lincroft in 1979. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, baking, and doing activities with her family. She was predeceased by her infant son, John; her daughter, Paula Pennington; her brother, Vincent Leone; and a sister, Bessie Caroccia. She is survived by her husband of 60 years. Leopoldo Favaloro of Lincroft; two daughters and three sons-in-law, Angela and Eugene Bifulco of the Belford section of Middletown, and Susan and Scott Lockwood of Bricktown; her son-in-law, William Pennington of Bricktown; two sisters, Rose DeSimone of Williamsburg, Va., and Frances Samaratano of Staten Island, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be Nov. 7 at 8:30 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island.

DAVID F. FERRUGIO, 46, of Middletown has been missing since Sept. 11 at the World Trade Center, New York City. Ferrugio was a bond broker for Cantor Fitzgerald for six years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Staten Island, N.Y. prior to moving to Middletown six years ago. He was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church, Lincroft section of Middletown. He coached Lincroft Little League from 1998-99. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rosanna M. Romano Ferrugio of Middletown; his son, David John Ferrugio; two daughters, Jacqueline and Gina Marie Ferrugio; his mother, Antoinette Ferrugio of Brooklyn; and his sister, Andrea Wanner of Baltimore, Md. A memorial service will be held Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church.

DOROTHY E. FROMMER, 75, of the Belford section of Middletown died Nov. 4 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in New York City, she lived in Greenlawn, N.Y., and relocated to Belford 30 years ago. She was a homemaker and her hobbies included bowling with the Ladies Bowling League at Harmony Bowl, Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Frommer in 1988. She is survived by three sons, Craig Frommer of Phoenix, Ariz., Brett Frommer of Belford, and Scott Frommer of Wolcott, Conn.; and two grandsons. A funeral service will be offered Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, followed by burial at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere.

PATRICIA DEVINE, 71, of Aberdeen died Oct. 31 at home. Born in New York City, she lived there until moving to Aberdeen 20 years ago. She was a retired executive secretary for Carter Wallace, New York City. She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Conover of Aberdeen; her brother, Andy Devine of Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

WILLIAM MANSFIELD QUINLAN, 83, of the New Monmouth section of Middletown died Oct. 25 at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., he lived there until moving to New Monmouth 40 years ago. He was an insurance broker for Johnson & Higgins Insurance Brokers, New York City, for 33 years, retiring in 1981. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Faith Thompson Quinlan of New Monmouth; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Peter Quinlan of Middletown, and Michael and Bernadette Quinlan of Freehold; his daughter, Ann Quinlan of Middletown; his sister, Margaret Quinlan Gibbons of Coral Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Hospice Program, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank 07701; or the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch 07740.

ISABELLA MARGARET "BELLE" SULLIVAN, 85, of Red Bank died Oct. 28 at home. Born in North Bergen, she resided in Jersey City prior to moving to Red Bank. She was a retired registered nurse in the Jersey City school system, and volunteered at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, following retirement. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She served as a nurse with the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy P. Sullivan in 1981; her brother, Dr. Peter Brady; and four sisters, Grace Menzel, Mildred Hall, Alice Turpning, and Rose Brady. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Timothy P. and Margaret Sullivan of Little Silver; her sister, Margaret Healy of the New Monmouth section of Middletown; her sister-in-law, Virginia Brady of New Monmouth; and three grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Interment was at Mount Olivet, Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Parker Family Health Clinic, 211 Shrewsbury Ave., P.O. Box 2189, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
