CATHERINE FREDA VOLLARO, 89, of Old Bridge died Nov. 30 in Madison Center, Old Bridge. Her husband, Vincent Vollaro, died in 1995. She also was predeceased by a son, Vincent Vollaro, and a granddaughter, Gina Marie Vollaro. Surviving are two sons, John Vollaro of Old Bridge and Frank Vollaro of Houston; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
was in St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y.
EVELYN FERRERA HACKER, 78, of Old Bridge died Dec. 3 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, William G.; a son, Robert Scarpino of Port Clinton, Ohio; two sisters, Kathy McIntyre of Spotswood and Sharon Miller of East Brunswick; a brother, Carmine Ferrera of Clark; two sisters, Marie Cece and Anna Gizzi, both of West Caldwell; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on Dec. 6 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment
will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
MITCHELL E. PATUCHINEA, 66, of South Amboy died Nov. 26 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He served on the South Amboy Planning Board for the past eight years. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Ruszczyk Patuchinea; four daughters, Kim Patuchinea of Rochester, Mich., Sharon Pawlowski and Ann LaBerge, both of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, and Joanne Patuchinea Litwinski of Spotswood; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 846 Main St., Fords, NJ 08863.
WESLEY J. TIMPSON, 50, of Old Bridge, formerly of Milltown, died Nov. 26 at home. Surviving are three brothers, Gary E. of South Amboy, Richard L. of Old Bridge and Phillip M. of East Brunswick; four sisters, Lois Clark and Barbara Mandato, both of Inverness, Fla., Colleen McIntosh of Bridgewater and Regina Mullins of Hampton, Va.; and 13 nieces and nephews. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Interment
was in Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick.
CELIA KOENIG WOZNIAK, 90, of Sayreville died Nov. 20 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, John, died in 1974, and a son, Edward, died in 1967. Surviving are a son, Donald of Sayreville; a daughter, Bernadine Karanewski of South River; a sister, Catherine Dittman of Sayreville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment
was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
JOHN H. BROMLEY, 77, of Old Bridge died Nov. 26 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a past president, captain and life member of the Old Bridge First Aid Rescue Squad. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy S. Dalrymple Bromley; a son, Louis of Grant Pass, Ore.; a daughter, Karen Grob of Spring Lake Heights; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. ESTELLE F. CHURCHILL COYLE, 91, of Old Bridge died Nov. 28 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are a daughter, Anna M. Featherman of Old Bridge; a son, John J. MARIE GRACE BUTTELL GANGI, 86, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of South Amboy, died Nov. 30 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Anthony J. Gangi, died in 1977, and a daughter, Elaine M. Campbell, died in October. Surviving are a son, Robert Gangi of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge; a son-in-law, Frank Campbell, with whom she lived; and five grandchildren. was in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
FRANCIS SHEHATA, 18, of the Parlin section of Old Bridge died Dec. 3 in Old Bridge as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a student at Old Bridge Adult High School, where he would have graduated in June. Surviving are his parents, Saied and Aida Hanna Shehata; a brother, Daniel, at home; his paternal grandmother, Mofida Guirgis of Cairo, Egypt; and his maternal grandmother, Fotinee Guirguis Yaakub of Jersey City. Services are planned for 11 a.m. on Dec. 7 at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, East Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
WILLIAM BOURBON, 80, of South River died Dec. 13 at home. His wife, Theresa Brosius Bourbon, died in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Beth Anne Bourbon, with whom he lived; and a brother, Robert Bourbon of the Toms River section of Dover. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
