MARTIN GIBBONS, 93, of Monroe died Dec. 14 at home. He owned and operated the Gibbons Rest Home, Monroe, since its establishment in the early 1960s. His wife, Agnes Molly Gibbons, died in 1983. Surviving are four sons, Michael, Patrick, Thomas and Richard; two daughters, Mary Anne Healy and Kathleen; two brothers, Thomas and Joseph; two sisters, Catherine Gibbons and Anne Peterson; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Interment

ROSE B. UREWICH GRABKO, 73, of South River died Dec. 12 in Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Surviving are her husband, Nicholas; a son, Nicholas W. Grabko of Bridgewater; a daughter, Debra M. Bird of Kinston, N.C.; a sister, Janice Applegate of Spotswood; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment

EUGENE A. MOLLOY SR., 82, of East Brunswick died Dec. 12 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Harriet Toenies Molloy; two sons, Eugene Jr. of Edison and William of East Brunswick; a daughter, Frances Hecht of East Brunswick; a brother, Andrew Molly of Spotswood; two sisters, Bernadette Cuthbert of Matawan and Theresa Lang of Red Bank; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment

MAE YANISH KULESSA, 90, of South River died Dec. 13 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1975, she was the co-owner of Butch’s Used Cars, South River, for 25 years. Her husband, Alex Kulessa Jr., died in 2000. Surviving are two daughters, Marion Garlatti of New Brunswick and Sandra Williams of South River; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
BERTHA T. DiBIASE, 89, of Monroe, formerly of Freehold, died Dec. 14 at her daughter’s home in Monroe. She was the owner of Birdie T’s Restaurant and Lounge, Matawan. Her husband, John DiBiase, died in 1978. Surviving are a son, William Volk of Florida; four daughters, Roberta Gardner of Monroe, Charlotte Pollack and Joan Buffalino, both of South River, and Kathleen Schanck of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment

RITA M. TOOLE PETSCAVAGE, 56, of Milltown died Dec. 13 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her recent retirement, she was employed by the Milltown School District, where she had worked as a first-grade and kindergarten teacher for 22 years. Surviving are her husband, William; two sons, William F. Petscavage II of New Milford and Mark M. Petscavage of Milltown; a sister, Anne Monnier of Port Royal, S.C.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment

STEVEN R. TOTH, 59, of South River died Dec. 18 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his parents, Eleanor and Steve Toth of South River; and three cousins, Eleanor Robinson, Barbara Van Cleaf and Robin Van Cleaf. A Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on Dec. 21 at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River. Interment
will follow in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
ALEXANDER H. ZANETTI, 57, died Dec. 10 at home. Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Purcell of Los Angeles; his parents, Doris and Alexander Zanetti of the Whiting section of Manchester; a brother, Joseph Zanetti of East Brunswick; a sister, Dolores Williams of Rochester, Ohio; and a granddaughter. BEATRICE SURMAN DOCKIEWICZ, 88, of Monroe, formerly of Sayreville, died Dec. 14 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul P. Dockiewicz, and by a son, David. Surviving are a son, James of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Doris Bailey of Monroe and Carol Baniowski of Plymouth, Mich.; a sister, Charlotte Herbst of Sayreville; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
