MARY ANN MAIER CERA, 58, of Danville, Pa., and formerly of Matawan, died Dec. 27 at Geisinger Medical Center, Mahoning Township, Pa. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Matawan prior to moving to Danville several years ago. She was a records analyst at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and also worked in its photography department and cardiac research center several years. A volunteer for the American Heart Association, she was instrumental in raising funds for the Danville Area Community Center. She was a graduate of Matawan Regional High School. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Marie Siepecky Maier. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dr. Peter Cera of Danville; five sons, Peter Cera of Brookline, Mass., George Cera of Orlando, Fla., Paul Cera of West Hartford, Conn., Michael Cera of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and James Cera, Massachusetts; two daughters, Dr. Susan Cera of Charlotte, N.C., and Karen Cera of New York City; and five grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the House of Care, c/o Geisinger Medical Center, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.

PETER SUPKO, 92, of Matawan died Dec. 17 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Frackville, Pa., he lived in South Plainfield for 50 years prior to moving to Matawan two years ago. He was an electrician for Westinghouse, Hillside, retiring in 1976. He was a communicant at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, East Brunswick. He served with the U.S. Marines, stationed in South America and the Caribbean, and was honorably discharged in 1934 as a private. He was an avid fisherman who frequented the Manasquan Inlet. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Tekla Donchak Supko of Matawan; two sons, Michael Supko of Belmar, and Peter Supko of Kensington, Md.; a daughter, Irene Supko of Scotch Plains; a sister, Helen Chavin of Freehold; and three grandchildren. A Divine Liturgy was offered at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church. Interment was at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, 1501 NW Ninth Ave., Bob Hope Road, Miami FL 33130.

DOLORES L. STANDARD DUNPHY, 60, of Middletown died Dec. 18 at home. Born in Queens, N.Y., she resided in Middletown for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert Dunphy of Middletown; two daughters, Kris Dunphy of Middletown, and Robin Sheridan of Keyport; a son, Michael Dunphy of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.; and a granddaughter, Taylor Sheridan. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

PATRICIA A. TIBBETTS HOURIHAN, 72, of Shrewsbury died Dec. 18 at The Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Keyport and Metuchen prior to moving to Shrewsbury more than 30 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Her hobbies included gardening, and volunteering at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John P. Hourihan Sr., earlier this year. She is survived by her son, John P. Hourihan of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara T. Pizonka of Valley Forge, Pa., and Kathleen E. O’Hara of Lawrenceville; two sisters, Judith Ihle of South Carolina, and Nancy Tibbetts of Arizona; and seven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Interment was at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Keyport. Memorial donations may be made to Riverview Medical Center Rehabilitation, 1 Riverview Plaza, Red Bank 07701.

CONSTANCE T. SZULEWSKI, 77, of Holmdel died Dec. 18 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Providence, R.I., she lived in Lyndhurst and Hazlet prior to moving to Holmdel. She was a retired legal secretary for Weil, Lee & Bergin, New York City. She volunteered at the adult care center of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. She was predeceased by her brother, Ernst Warren Bressette; and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Carpenter. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Walter B. and Sharron Szulewski of Malvern, Iowa, and Richard S. and Mary Szulewski of Wake Forest, N.C.; two daughters, Carol Ann Rhoades of North Charleston, S.C.; and Patricia M. Mascolino of Hazlet; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

ANGELO F. IANUALE, 82, of Holmdel died Dec. 19 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. Born in Hoboken, he lived in Union City before moving to Holmdel 17 years ago. He was a warehouseman for the Military Shipping Terminal, Bayonne, for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Brooklyn, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife, Blanche Alvino-Ianuale. He is survived by two sons, Vincent Ianuale of Lynbrook, N.Y., and Robert Ianuale of Hazlet; two sisters, Louise Pulcini and Amelia Pisani, both of Union City; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Burial was at St. John’s Cemetery, Queens, N.Y.

ANTHONY LaGRIPPO, 86, of Middletown died Dec. 19 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he relocated to the Middletown area in 1996. He was a self-employed salesman in New York for 50 years, retiring 11 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Millie Berté LaGrippo of Middletown; his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Terri LaGrippo of Middletown; his sister, Rose Perrotti of Long Island, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Anthony III, Cathy and Diane LaGrippo of Middletown; and one great-grandson. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Burial was at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo section of Middletown.

CLIFFORD C. MARTIN, 83, of Keyport died Dec. 19 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Keansburg, he was a lifelong Keyport resident. He was a self-employed plumber for 48 years, retiring in 1987. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired fire captain for Engine Company No. 1, Keyport; and the fleet captain at Keyport Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife, Marie Parisi Martin of Keyport; his daughter, Virginia Johnston of Keyport; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be offered Dec. 24 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

MARY G. BEYER, 83, of Middletown died Dec. 20 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, she resided in Middletown the past 45 years. She was a secretary for St. Mary’s Grammar School, New Monmouth section of Middletown, for 29 years, retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. She was also a member of its Altar Rosary Society and St. Mary’s Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Beyer in 1961; and three brothers, Charles, Raymond, and Paul Mulvihill. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ned Beyer of Colonia, and Peter and Teresa Beyer of Brighton, Mich.; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bob Henschel of Neptune; her sister, Catherine Mulvihill of Bayonne; and eight grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be Dec. 24 at 8:45 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031-1898.

LENARD B. MacLEAN, 59, of Middletown died Dec. 20 at the Center for Hospice Care, Long Branch. Born in New Orleans, La., he lived in Union Beach prior to moving to Middletown 30 years ago. He was a sheet metal worker for Roy K Inc./KSI Contracting, Freehold, for five years. Prior to that, he worked for Edison Heating and Cooling, and IFF, Union Beach, for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army He enlisted in 1959 and was discharged in 1963. He was a 20-year member of the Middletown Fire Department at Middletown No. 1, Station 8; and a member of Sheet Metals Local No. 28, Staten Island, N.Y. He was predeceased by his father, Benjamin MacLean, and his mother, Marion Jaeger. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Smith MacLean of Middletown; two daughters, Sheila Kansky of Hazlet, and Carol Laska of Brick Township; his sister, Marion O’Brien of Howell; and two grandsons.
