OLLIE L. DOSS, 86, of East Brunswick died Oct. 11 in Care One, East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Viar Doss; a brother, Edward of Madison Heights, Va.; a sister, Ruby Navarra of Norfolk, Va.; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
JUNE SULLIVAN FRANK, 71, of Spotswood died Oct. 12 at home. Surviving are her husband, Henry; a son, Henry J. Frank Jr. of Metuchen; a daughter, Carol Frank Compton of East Brunswick; a sister, Barbara Marshello of Brick; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. KATHERINE DUTKA LOCH, 83, of South River died Oct. 14 at home. Surviving are a daughter, Joanne Carol Deerson; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Services are planned for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. EVELYN S. STEIN MAYERS, 88, of Monroe died Oct. 10 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Jules Lawrence Mayers, died in 1994. Surviving are a son, Kenneth J. Mayers; a daughter, Pat Mayers; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton.
LINDA SPARKES VIVENZIO, 50, of Milltown died Oct. 10 in Mary Ann Hale Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Surviving are her husband, Philip; a daughter, Darsey Allison, and a son, Derek Andrew, both at home; her parents, Arthur and Margaret Sparkes of Milltown; a sister, Pamela Sparkes, also of Milltown; a brother, Bruce Sparkes of Hillsborough; seven nieces and one nephew. A service was held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, South River. Interment

EDWARD KOSCIUSZKO, 78, of South River died Oct. 15 at the home of his daughter in Milltown. Prior to his retirement, he was a barber and later the head custodian at Jonas Salk Middle School, Old Bridge. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Klacik of Milltown; a son, Edward Kosciuszko of North Caldwell; a sister, Irene Stueber of East Brunswick; a brother, John Kosciuszko, also of East Brunswick; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass is planned for 9 a.m. on Oct. 17 at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. JOHN JOSEPH POST, 73, of Old Bridge died Oct. 14 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Martha McErlean Post; two sons, John T. Post of the Franklin Park section of Franklin and U.S. Air Force, Lt. Col. Robert B. Post of Lusby, Md.; two daughters, Martha Post-Szigethy of the Long Valley section of Washington Township and Janet Post Lamb of Chester; a sister, Gloria Duffy of Maspeth, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Oct. 18 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge.
DENNIS VANCE, 84, of Old Bridge died Oct. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Jean Kalinowski Vance; two sons, David Vance of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge and Dennis Vance of Jackson; two daughters, Barbara Carlson of Gillette Marilynn Fogarty of Berkley, Mich.; two sisters, Alice Merrill of Maine and Lois Lakey of Florida; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services are planned for the evening of Oct. 10 at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment
will be private.
ROSS J. D’ALOIA, 70, of Sayreville died Oct. 4 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Edith Gordon D’Aloia; a daughter, Kathleen Nicholas of Sayreville; a son, Scott D’Aloia of Brick; a sister, Marion Suboch of West Orange; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Entombment was in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
CONSTANCE C. AVERBACH, 76, of Howell died Oct. 3 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin, in 1985. She is survived by three sons, Steven of Freehold Township, Barry of Jackson and Joseph of Old Bridge; a brother, Thomas Capaldo of Staten Island, N.Y.; a sister, Mildred Klump of Clifton; and five grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment
was in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island.
