LINDA RATAJCZAK DeLUCIA, 86, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died Oct. 7 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. DeLucia Sr., and by a son, Allen Ratajczak. Surviving are five sons, William Ratajczak of Somerville, Norbert of South Amboy, Donald Ratajczak of Flemington and Lawrence Pedersen and Bryant Whiting, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four daughters, Delores Bukowczyk of Jacksonville, Ark., Audrey Simko of Hockessin, Del., Nancy Walsh of Tampa, Fla., and Beverly Lawson of South Amboy; a stepson, Anthony DeLucia of Oyster Bay, N.Y.; a sister, Vivian Royal of Union Beach; and 30 grandchildren. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Cremation was private.
DANIEL C. WHITEHURST, 67, of East Brunswick died Oct. 2 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Hedy Scibek Whitehurst; four daughters, Dawn Fineran and Vicki Hagman, both of Union Beach, Nancy Compton of Yardley, Pa., and Naomi Skwira of Sayreville; a brother, Joseph Matthews of Matawan; a sister, Mary Beth Thompson of Port Richey, Fla.; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment
was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.
ERIC A. RINKENS, 32, of South River died Oct. 2 at home. Surviving are his companion, Barbara Gross; his mother, Hannelore Rinkens of South River; his father and stepmother, David and Elfreda Rinkens of Dunellen; three brothers, David of Spotswood, Klaus of Old Bridge and Robert of South River; a stepbrother, Johann Rinkens of Dunellen; three nephews and two nieces. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Cremation was private.
JOSEPHINE KOSAKOWSKI MIKOLAI, 79, of Sayreville died Oct. 3 at home. Surviving are a son, David Mikolai of East Brunswick; two brothers, Louis and John Kosakowski of Sayreville; and three sisters, Stella Kosakowski, Irene Wysocki and Mary Faczak, all of Sayreville. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Church, Sayreville. Interment

HELEN SHALUHA MALISZEWSKI, 82, of South River died Oct. 7 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her first husband, Joseph Shaluha, died in 1952; her second husband, Frank Maliszewski, died in 1972; and a son, Joseph Shaluha, died in 1994. Surviving are four daughters, Barbara Vogel of New Hope, Pa., Catherine Tracy of Golden, Colo., Marie Fry of Cherry Hill and Patricia Maliszewski of Sunrise, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Claire Shaluha of South River; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A service is planned for 11 a.m. on Oct. 10 at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment
will follow in the church cemetery.
ADRIENNE VANDEGRIFT KRAUS, 93, of Old Bridge, formerly of Freehold, died Oct. 7 at home. Her husband, William J. Kraus Sr., died in 1965. Surviving are two sons, William J. Kraus Jr. of Chestertown, Md., and Gordon Kraus of Arden, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Graveside services are planned for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. on Nov. 16 at Colts Neck Reformed Church. MARGARET MEHES NAGY, 73, of Waxhaw, N.C., formerly of Edison and the Mystic Islands section of Little Egg Harbor Township, died Oct. 7 in Presbyterian Hospital. Her husband, Frank Nagy, died in 1989, and a grandson, Richard Cinquegrana, died in 1968. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Cinquegrana of Charlotte, N.C., and Barbara Manns of the Browns Mills section of Pemberton; two sons, Richard Nagy of Mystic Islands and Frank of Rockhill, S.C.; three sisters; four brothers; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment
will follow in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.
ROGER JOSEPH CORMIER, 71, of Middletown died Oct. 2 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in New York City, he lived in Middletown for more than 40 years. He was an electrical engineer for Bell Labs and AT&T Labs for more than 40 years, where he was a distinguished member of technical staff. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Gillian Courtney Pratt-Cormier; a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur J. and Linda Cormier of San Diego; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diana Cormier of Laurence Harbor and Robin J. and James Fedorchak of Morganville; a brother Romae Joseph Cormier of DeKalb, Ill., and two grandchildren. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
MARY CAMMARATA CAVALIER, 87, of Spotswood died Oct. 6 in Madison Care Center, Old Bridge. Her husband, Angelo Cavalier, died in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Janet Richards of Aberdeen and Lorraine Toriello of Tennessee; a sister, Sarah Riccobono of the Ringoes section of East Amwell Township; and two grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 10 at Holy Trinity Church, Helmetta. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
SOPHIE EGNASKO, 74, of Old Bridge died Oct. 1 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her husband, John, died in 1984. Surviving two sons, Bruce J. of Edison and Gary of Tolland, Conn.; a brother, Stanley; two sisters, Jennie and Helen; and three grandchildren.
