Glenn Sharp
Services for Glenn David Sharp of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel.
Capt. Robert L. Keene will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Mr. Sharp, 20, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born April 10, 1980.
He graduated from Hobbs High School in 1999.
Survivors include his parents, Melton Lee and Barbara Sharp of Hobbs; his grandmothers, Jessie Mae Cassity and Alma Burleson, both of Hobbs; and three sisters, Donna Easter and Dena Spellman, both of Hobbs, and Darlene Meadors of Doniphan, Mo.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; two grandfathers; and one nephew.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Christmas Fund, 820 S. Fowler, Hobbs, N.M. 88240.

Mitchell W. Welch
EUNICE - Graveside services for Mitchell W. Welch of Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. CST on Friday, Dec. 1, at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, Texas.
The Rev. Eddie Cotton will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Welch, 40, died Monday, Nov. 27, at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 14, 1960, in Abilene, Texas.
He married Donna Perkins on Oct. 14, 1983, in Wink.
Survivors include his wife of Austin; his mother, Juanita Harrison of Wink; his stepfather, Kenneth Harrison of Wink; one son, Donnie Welch of Hobbs; one daughter, Mishelle Welch of Austin; two brothers, Chuck Gibson of Odessa and Donald Welch of Jal; five sisters, Juanita Welch of Midland, June Ziegler of Ira, Texas, Kay Bale of Houston, Tina Haynes of Colmesneil, Texas and Karen Shuler of McCamey, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Ray Welch; one sister, Billie Jean Massey; and one brother, Leon Welch.

Kathleen Brown
LUBBOCK - Graveside services for former Hobbs resident Kathleen Click Brown of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
The Rev. Tom Lakey will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown, 77, died on Tuesday, Nov. 28, in University Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 16, 1923, in Chillicothe.
She married Arthur Click on March 21, 1939, in Clovis. He preceded her in death in 1999. She moved to Lubbock in 1950. She worked as a lab technician for Bell Dairy Products until her retirement.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include one son, Matthew Arthur Click of Denver; two daughters, Dixie Click Hairgrove of Lubbock and Linna Joy Hill of Fort Worth; one sister, Billie Vaughn of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Velda P. Lee
EUNICE - Services for Velda P. Lee of Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eunice First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Dean Mathis will officiate.
Burial will follow in Brunson Memorial Cemetery in Eunice under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-noon today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Good Samaritan Village in Hobbs. She was born April 15, 1913.
She married Byron Jackson Lee on July 4, 1927, in Cisco, Texas. He preceded her in death.
She moved from Beaumont, Texas, to Eunice in 1944 and to Hobbs in 1987. She was a housewife and a longtime member of Eunice First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Colborn of Eunice, Jane George of Midland and Mickey Sanders of Dallas; one sister, Era Sutton of LaPort, Texas; one half-brother, Bill Everett of Abilene, Texas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jimmy Lee; two sisters; and four brothers.

Iolene Lemoyne Hazllett Smith
LLANO, Texas -- Services for Iolene Lemoyne Hazllett Smith of Llano, mother of Gloria Broom of Eunice, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. David Griffin will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Six Mile Cemetery in Llano County.
Mrs. Smith, 94, died Monday, Nov. 27, at the Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg. She was born on Nov. 6, 1906 in Llano.
She married Robert Otis Smith on May 26, 1923, at Mercedes. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1974.
She was lifetime resident of Llano and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lutie Watkins United Methodist Church, the Llano Senior Citizens and A.A.R.P.
She helped with the founding of the Head Start Program in Llano.
Other survivors include three daughters, Lila Dorothea Hamm of Woodville, Wynona Rogers of Bethel, Ohio, and Carrissa Suzanne Smith of Llano; one son, Robert Otis Smith Jr. of Hoover Valley; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Vernell; two sons, Lester Anthony Smith and William Sherrill Smith; one sister; and four brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Llano County Library or the American Heart Association.

Patricia M. Breyman
Services for Patricia M. Breyman of Hobbs will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. George Malis will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thursday and from 8-10 a.m. on Friday.
Mrs. Breyman, 68, died Thursday, Nov. 23, in Hobbs. She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Corsicana, Texas.
She moved to Hobbs in the late 1970s and worked for Judge Larry Johnson for 10 years. She did volunteer work for the new Veterans Affairs Clinic, the Genealogical Society and the Humane Society. She was active in her church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gaye Breyman of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother, Al Mullican of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Billie Seevers and Barbara Pendergrass, both of Hemet, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Her parents, Jessie and Nelle Mullican, and one sister, Justine Gandy, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Trey Harmon
Services for Trey Harmon of Nadine will be held at 2 p.m. at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel.
The Rev. Sidney Butler and the Rev. Kenny Reed will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Bethany Funeral Home.
Trey, 5, died Sunday, Nov. 26, at home. He was born Aug. 20, 1995, in Hobbs.
He is survived his mother, Becky Dunlap; his father, Dewey Hunt; his grandparents, Bobby and Trudy Hix of Jefferson, Texas, and Jimmy Dunlap of Odessa; great-grandparents, Sandra Mayer and Roy and Billie Magee of Hobbs; great-grandmother, Ruth Davis of Hobbs; an aunt, Brandi Dean of Eunice; and numerous cousins and friends.

Glen Sharp
Services for Glen Sharp of Hobbs are pending with Griffin Funeral Home.
Mr. Sharp, 20, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born April 10, 1980.

Belven D. White
Memorial services for Belven Dean White of Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
Burial was under the direction of Memory Gardens Direct Services.
Mr. White, 38, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Albuquerque. He was born on April 23, 1962, in Hobbs.
Survivors include his father, Belven White of Hobbs; two brothers, Sammy White of Hobbs and Dale Crawford of Indiana; and three sisters, Sandy Kay of Arkansas, and Betty Jean and Roberta of Texas.

Marshall L. Brown
HOUSTON - Graveside services for former Hobbs resident Marshall Lee "Brownie" Brown will be held at 10 a.m. CST today at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
Burial will follow under the direction of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown, 48, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Houston.
He was a 1969 graduate of Hobbs High School. He was a professional bass guide and was active with The Sunshine Kids.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Brown of Lubbock; one sister, Brinder Jacobs of Houston; two nephews; a niece and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. and Evelyn H. Brown.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Sunshine Kids, the American Heart Association or the charity of one's choice.

Audra I. Dalmont
Graveside services for Audra Ivan Dalmont of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. CST today at Lamesa Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas.
The Rev. Tom Koger will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dalmont, 90, died on Saturday, Nov. 25, in Hobbs. She was born on Jan. 18, 1910, in Roanoak, Texas.
She married Raymond Dalmont. He preceded her in death in 1996. They moved to Hobbs in 1946. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Cornelius Owens of Edmond, Okla.; one sister, Ozelle Escalante of Mexico City; and several nieces and nephews.
Five sisters, Gracie Henry, Ines Hodge, Velma Wallace, Gladys Dalmont and Bertha Brookshire.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Dollie Mae Mitchell
Services for Dollie Mae Mitchell of Lovington will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Bethel Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jim Bennix will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lovington Cemetery under the direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mitchell, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 25, at her home. She was born July 13, 1912, in Odell, Texas.
She married Lee Monroe Mitchell on Oct. 27, 1934, in Tolbert, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1971.
She attended Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Edd Mitchell of Lovington; four daughters, Molly Hardy of Capitan, Patricia Ming of Deming, Sally Norris of Blackwell, Okla., and Judy Haggerton of Lovington; 15 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Donald E. Teague
SNYDER, Texas - Graveside services for Donald Eugene Teague of Hobbs will at 11 a.m. CST on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Pyron Cemetery, 2 miles east of Hermleigh.
John Fenton will officiate.
Burial will follow under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home of Snyder.
Mr. Teague, 74, died on Saturday, Nov. 25, at his home. He was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Bristow, Okla.
He married Maude Maxine Hendrix on Feb. 3, 1945, in Levelland.
He served in the U.S. Army in Guam, where he was a crew chief for the maintenance of bombers.
He lived in Hobbs from 1956 to 1963. He lived in Brownfield from 1963 to 1972, where he and his son had their own oilfield pump shop. He returned to Hobbs in 1972.
He worked in the oilfield for many years as a superintendent for Texas Pacific Coal and Oil and as a sales representative for Star Tool Co.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Doug Teague of Waller; one half-sister, Norma Sue Sanders; one granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

Mitchell W. Welch
Services for Mitchell W. Welch of Hobbs are pending with Calvary Funeral Home.
Mr. Welch, 40, died Monday, Nov. 27 at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 14, 1960, in Abilene, Texas.

Carldean Walls
EUNICE -- Funeral services for Carldean Walls of Jal will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Jal First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Mike May and the Rev. Tim Duncan will officiate.
Burial will follow at Jal Cooper Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Walls, 73, died Sunday, Nov. 26, in Arlington. He was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Stephenville, Texas.
He married Myra Kathryn Boyd on May 5, 1946, in Buchanan, Ga.
He attended Jal Schools. He served in the U.S. Army for 19 months, beginning Nov. 27, 1945. He was a member of the Jal Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years. He was also a lifetime member of New Mexico Fire Fighters Association and a previous member of the International Order of Odd Fellows Lodge of Jal.
He retired from El Paso Natural Gas as a truck driver. He was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Ronnie Walls of Jal; three brothers, R.A. Walls of Artesia, Gayland Walls of Jal and Roy Lee Walls of Houston; one sister, Nelda Shipman of Monterey, Calif. and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Myra Frances; and one brother, J.W. Walls.

Belven Dean White
Memorial services for Belven White of Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
Immediate burial was under the direction of Memory Gardens Direct Services.
Mr. White, 38, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22 in Albuquerque. He was born on April 23, 1962 in Hobbs.
Survivors include his father, Belven White of Hobbs; two brothers, Sammy White of Hobbs and Dale Crawford of Indiana; and three sisters, Sandy Kay of Arkansas, Betty Jean and Roberta of Texas.

Patricia Breyman
Funeral services are pending with Griffin Funeral Home for Patricia Breyman of Hobbs.
Mrs. Breyman, 68, died on Thursday, Nov. 23, in Hobbs. She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Corsicana, Texas.

Marshall L. Brown
HOUSTON - Funeral services are pending at Earthman Resthaven Chapel for Marshall L. Brown.
Mr. Brown, 48, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Houston.
He was a 1969 graduate of Hobbs High School.

Judy Huff
BROWNFIELD - Graveside services for Judy Huff, of Brownfield, will be held at 10:30 a.m. CST on Monday, Nov. 27, at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The Rev. Beverly Titus will officiate.
Mrs. Huff, 56, died on Thursday, Nov. 23, at her home. She was born on Nov. 24, 1943, in Oklahoma City.
She attended school in Lovington and Alamogordo and graduated from Stephen Austin High School in El Paso.
She worked for the University of Florida before moving to Brownfield in 1985. She worked for the Kendrick Memorial Library until 1988. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She married Eddie Huff on Aug. 24, 1988, in Cabbot, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; her mother, Lu Amerson of Las Cruces; one son, Steven Smith of Duluth, Ga.; one daughter, Sabrina Dyes of Duluth; one brother, Robert Layne of Anthony; one sister, Jacque Nell of Las Cruces; and two grandchildren.

Antonio L. Olivas
ODESSA - A funeral mass for Antonio Lucas Olivas, brother of Alicia Frausto of Hobbs, was held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiated.
Private burial will be under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home.
Mr. Olivas, 81, died on Friday, Nov. 17, in Shreveport, La. He was born on April 14, 1919, in Shafter, Texas.
He retired from the United States Air Force. He was a Roman Catholic.
In addition to one sister, survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Patrick McCabe of Hurst, Texas; three other sisters, Dora Lujan of Midland, Paula Olivas of Calif. and Ofelia Olivas of Terlingua; and two grandchildren.
