Walter C. Hackett
EAST GLENVILLE - Walter C. Hackett, who was the owner and operator of H and F Auto Body in East Hampton for 35 years, died Saturday at the Samuel Stratton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albany after a short illness. Mr. Hackett, of Pinewood Drive, was 80.
Mr. Hackett was born in East Hampton, Long Island.
Mr. Hackett lived in Tampa, Fla., for eight years before moving to Glenville. He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Walter C. Hackett Jr. of East Hampton; three daughters, Paula H. Brinkman of Glenville, Naimy Massi of East Hampton and Susan Hackett of Hastings on Hudson; and six grandchildren.
There will be no services.

William Tuttle
JOHNSTOWN - William "Bill" Tuttle, who was a custodian for the Johnstown School District before retiring in 1992, died Sunday at the Wells Nursing Home after a short illness. Mr. Tuttle, of Chamberlain Drive, was 73.
Mr. Tuttle was born in Charleston Four Corners. He was educated in one-room schoolhouses in Charleston and Randall and attended school in Johnstown.
He was employed as a truck driver and glass worker.
Mr. Tuttle was a member of the Johnstown-Gloversville First United Methodist Church and a volunteer fireman for the Town of Mohawk Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Maryellen Grant Tuttle; a son, William G. Tuttle of Florence, Ariz.; a daughter, Gail Bush of Johnstown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, 215 E. Main St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnstown Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps or to charity.

John Richard Robillard
PERU, Ind. - John Richard Robillard, 66, of South Sease Drive, died at home Sunday.
Mr. Robillard was born in Schenectady. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Ball State University in 1986.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years. He was a civil service employee at Grissom Air Force Base until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2000.
Mr. Robillard was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a life member of the Miami County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2067.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Laycock Robillard, whom he married July 5, 1958; a daughter, Ann Robacker of Belleville, Ill.; three sons, Mark Robillard of Canton, Ga., David Robillard of Indianapolis, Ind., and Steven Robillard of Muncie, Ind.; his mother, Louise Robillard of Schenectady; two brothers, Gene Robillard of Schenectady and Raymond Robillard of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Nancy Galente of Orlando and Carolyn McNolty of Schenectady; and nine grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St.
Burial with full military honors will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main.

Lillian Keysor Hine, 100
GLOVERSVILLE - Mrs. Lillian Keysor Hine, 100, of the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility, died Sunday at the facility.
Born in Catskill, Greene County, Mrs. Hine moved to New York City in 1919. She later lived on the Gloversville-Caroga Lake Road in the town of Johnstown for more than 50 years and also at the Pineview Commons Home for Adults.
Mrs. Hine was a secretary for a law firm in New York City. She later moved to Gloversville and worked in the same capacity for the Niagara Mohawk Power & Light Co. Subsequently, she was employed at the Fred C. Miller Glove Co., retiring in 1954.
Mrs. Hine was a member of the former Kingsborough Presbyterian Church in Gloversville and a member of its Philathea Class and the 1793 Club.
Her first husband, Amos C. Keysor, whom she married Dec. 24, 1928, died in 1950. She later married Chauncey M. Steele, who died in 1966. Her third husband, Norman E. Hine, died in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Keysor Stofelano; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mildred Specht, longtime employee at Carrot Barn
CENTRAL BRIDGE - Mrs. Mildred E. Specht, 81, of Freed Road, Town of Carlisle, died Sunday at Bassett Healthcare Facility in Cooperstown after a short illness.
Born in Albany, Mrs. Specht had lived on Freed Road since 1985. He had previously lived in North Main Street in Central Bridge.
She was educated in the St. Vincent's school system in Albany.
Mrs. Specht worked at Schoharie Valley Farms Carrot Barn on Route 30 in Schoharie for more than 30 years. She worked in the shipping and packing department and also did field work. She also assisted her husband in the operation of the Henry Specht Excavating Business until 1980.
Henry C. Specht, whom she married Sept. 21, 1938, died Dec. 3, 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Michael M. Specht of Middleburgh and Henry C. Specht of Tarboro, N.C.; two daughters, Patricia Ann Smith of Central Bridge and Sarah Harris of Middleburgh; a brother, Louis Pemberton of Albany; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Langan Funeral Home, 227 Main St., Schoharie.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Breakabeen Cemetery, Breakabeen.

Roberta Eischens, 52, was therapist at Sunnyview
NISKAYUNA - Private services will be held for Miss Roberta P. Eischens, 52, of Whamer Lane, who died Friday at Albany Medical Center in Albany after a long illness.
Born in Beacon, Miss Eischens moved to the Capital Region in 1984.
She earned a bachelor's degree in humanities in 1969 from Harpur College and a second degree in physical therapy from Upstate Medical University in 1984.
Miss Eischens was a physical therapist at Sunnyview Hospital in Schenectady.
She was an active member of the Schenectady Dog Training Club and the Jazz Agility Club.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and June Eischens of Broomal; a brother, David Eischens of Fayetteville; and her partner, Sue Herbert of Niskayuna.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will be private.

`Nick' Lettieri
ROTTERDAM - Nunzi "Nick" Lettieri, 90, of Newell Road, died Sunday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Born in Old Forge, Pa., Mr. Lettieri was educated in Scranton, Pa., and moved to the Rotterdam area in 1939.
He was a mason for many years, working for the Bricklayers Union local 2 in Albany until retiring in 1972.
Mr. Lettieri was a communicant of the Church of Saint Adalbert.
He was a member of the Rotterdam Seniors Mixed League, the American Bowling Congress and the Rotterdam Senior Citizens. He was a longtime member of the Mont Pleasant Bowling League.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Lettieri, whom he married Jan. 27, 1940; a daughter, Nancy Sells of Rotterdam; five sisters, Lillian Leshanski of Scranton, Pa., Vi Slater of Houston, Texas, Ethel Bolsar of Moosic, Pa., Margaret Cianni of Old Forge, Pa., and Rosie Lettieri of Scranton, Pa.; two brothers, Tony Lettieri of Old Forge, Pa., and Joseph Lettieri of Scranton, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
There are no calling hours or services.
Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Alice Gerardi
EAST GLENVILLE - Mrs. Alice Wands Gerardi, 84, of East Glenville, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a short illness.
Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Gerardi moved to Glenville in 1934. She was a 1935 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. She lived in the Cape Cod, Mass., area from 1983 to 1988.
She was the assistant dietitian at the Glenridge Hospital from 1958 to 1978.
Mrs. Gerardi was a member of the Evangelical Baptist Church while a resident of Cape Cod. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Rexford for many years.
Her husband, Leonard G. Wands, whom she married in 1938, died in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Richard W. Wands of Old Town, Maine, and R. Kent Wands of Glenville; and a daughter, Priscilla D. Bodenstab of Glenville.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 tonight at Faith Baptist Church, Glenridge and Bradt roads, Rexford.

Bernard Walsh
COHOES - Bernard J. Walsh, 71, of David Drive, died Monday at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a short illness.
Mr. Walsh was born and educated in Cohoes.
He retired as maintenance supervisor for Owens Corning in Delmar after 20 years of service.
Mr. Walsh was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church.
He was a longtime member of the Jackson Avenue bowling league.
Survivors include his wife, Doris LaForest Walsh; four daughters, Doris Peltier and Bernadette Glynn, both of Cohoes, Nancy Kentris of Gilbertville, Mass., and Maureen Kentris of Latham; three brothers, Thomas D., Francis E. and William F. Walsh Jr., all of Cohoes; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Dufresne Funeral Home, 216 Columbia St., followed at 9:30 at St. Bernard's Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.

Carmela Frekany
LOS ANGELES - Mrs. Carmela M. Frekany of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Rotterdam Junction, died Saturday at a Los Angeles health facility.
Born in Rotterdam Junction, Mrs. Frekany was a graduate of Woestina High School and moved to Los Angeles in 1956.
She was a loan service officer at the Bank of America, Gibraltar Savings & Loan and Family Savings & Loan.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Frank Frekany; a sister, Mary Cipriano of Rotterdam Junction; and two brothers, Michael Guagliardo of Schenectady and John Guagliardo of Amsterdam.
A Mass will be celebrated at 5 this evening at Faith Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, Hollywood Hills, Calif.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary.
